Popular Post DamagingRob
#162- Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered Platinum Earn all Uncharted 2: Among Thieves™ Remastered Trophies This series is just so damn special. Love 'em all. What I love about these remasters, is I can just jump right into Crushing and go for the Plat. If I wanted to try for the PS3 versions, I would have to do 2 playthroughs. One on Hard and another on Crushing. And that's just not as appealing to me. :/ But maybe someday it'll happen. Overall, this Plat wasn't as difficult as I thought it would be. There were multiple sections in 3, where I had to resort to using Youtube to get past them.. Here, I really only needed to for Ch. 25. First, I couldn't figure out how to kill those blue guys. And then later on, when enemies were fighting them in a big room, waves of enemies just kept on coming endlessly. I killed wave after wave, went down into the room a couple of times for ammo, and eventually died. I was like, "Okay.. Something's not right here." And I was right. Figured out how to get them to stop spawning, and the rest was simple. That final boss, though.. That was a doozy. Almost resorted to finding a cheap, easy method for him, too. Lol . But yeah, this was a blast to revisit. Will have to do the 1st and final one I haven't replayed, at some point. Platinum image(technically; I don't know what the heck happened. Platinum popped, I waited a few seconds, and then went to sync my trophies. At which point, it popped up on the screen again, and I don't have an actual image for my Platinum. As in, there's no image stored on my PS4 at all. Not to be confused with it's an image of a trophy list, or something else not from the game): Boy, it's a shame she has to sit on something that pretty.
Popular Post Tanuzomi
#28 - Virtue's Last Reward Virtue's Last RewardAcquired all trophies. Diffycult: 3/10 Ha ha my poor lazy brain was challenged more than in Dangan lol Enjoyment: 110/10 No that is not my usual typo-style... the game was great, the story and puzzles where better than in 999 but some characters like a green or more pinky Clover where not so cool in this one as she was in the 999 game. And here is another splendid visual-novel/puzzle game beside Danganronpa and yeah my 28th platinum as well I really enjoyed this game so much that I'm still awake around 3am in my zone... but who cares about work when you play such a cool game? In my case I choose lack of sleep then. Out of all Characters with their ED's I loved Luna the most followed by Phi Normally reffered to 999 I would say Clover/Yotsuba is my fave but she was not so cool as she was back then in 999 but that's just my opinion. But now I must sleep for sure Thinking what I should play next on Vita while sleeping...
STFUxDxD
#56 History: Legends of War: Patton (PS Vita) Legend of War Complete All Trophies Another ps+ game from the backlog. The game was fun overall minus the general bugginess. I'm not sure if it's just the Vita version that suffers from this; I couldn't find anything about it on the web or anyone else experiencing similar issues. The sound occasionally skipped and the game froze at least 4 or 5 times right after finishing a mission. Even when I completed the final mission when the platinum popped the screen froze again. Still got my platinum so I'm happy!

Popular Post PliskinCobra
Trophy #2000: Bloodborne "May you find your worth in the waking world" Trophy #3000: Dark Souls 3 This marks my #55 Platinum and #3000 Trophy. After getting Bloodborne at #2000 and seeing I was close to 3k trophies, I decided to make Dark Souls 3 Platinum another milestone. The trophy looks like any other DS Platinum but the journey was worth it. Now I will take a break waiting for the DLC to come.
Radebe78
#82 Super Exploding Zoo Everything`s Ruined This was nice puzzle game which I enjoyed more than I expected. Short and easy platinum without too much hassle but not boring and too grindy so probably an almost perfect mix for casual playing. I wanted to play something short and relaxing before starting Battlefield 3 hard run, so I decided to go for this. Finished it in little bit over 4 hours which nailed me a 47 spot on the fastest list. Whoohoo Thanks to my buddy Whyfire for helping me with online portion of the game.
Popular Post Xel
#102 Odin Sphere Leifthraiser Odin Sphere Obtained all trophies! Perfect game. It's exceedingly rare how a video game nowadays can keep the player guessing and playing for hours just to see how the story unfolds bit by bit until the very last moment, not to mention a story that appeared to be quite mainstream at the first sight. The feeling of seeing everything gradually fit together until the finale is incredible. The author certainly knows his stuff. He seems to have mastered all the European mythologies and legends by heart to be able to mix and match them at ease without any jarring feeling while keeping an unmistakably Japanese core at the heart of the story. Also, apart from certain chapters, which felt a bit artificial and prolonged so that each protagonist/individual drama gets the same number of acts, the story is almost flawless: You keep thinking about it even after you finish, and everything just clicks naturally, unlike so many ridiculous money grabs which simply leave gaping holes here and there or make you cringe. Actually, a lot of plot treatments make much more sense than the abrupt turns of events in the original The Ring of the Nibelung by Wagner, which a part of the story loosely adapted. The convincing voice acting (the Japanese version at least) and atmospheric arts also played a big part in it, as well as all the typically Japanese attention to details. In fact, if you take out all the gaming components, this in itself is a top notch hours-long stage drama to be enjoyed on its own. I'd recommend anybody to buy it just for the drama alone. The gaming aspect is quite good, enough to keep you playing and feeling satisfied between acts of the drama. Each character's style is distinctive and enjoyable enough. It's definitely not perfect, though, with difficulty being the major issue. The "normal" difficulty felt a bit too easy and sometimes I didn't sweat at all during a full chapter, with some bosses being extremely easy to deal with, and only felt totally geared up for less than 10 boss battles in the whole game. However, once you get used to "normal", which is the default, it will be really difficult to switch to "hard", which guarantees you to die a few times even battling a middle boss. There should be a reasonable middle ground between them. On repetition, I'd say it's just a minor issue, since although each character revisits the same place, in theory, the actual map and battlefield each time is different enough to keep you intrigued. And even the same type of boss has variations in details when battling different characters. 9/10. I definitely recommend it to anybody, no matter you're interested in JRPG or European mythology, or just simply enjoys a good story with soul (which is really rare nowadays), you'll find this game amazing.
Popular Post AJ_Radio
Very long list of platinums coming up, so I'll keep the descriptions short. I'll be posting all the platinums I earned on the PS4 these past few months, and the next post will cover the platinums on the PS3. #22: LA COPS (May 1st, 2016) Difficulty: 3.5/10 Excitement: 5.5/10 If it weren't for the groovin, rocking 1970s style soundtrack, this game wouldn't of done it for me. LA Cops feels like it is trying to be like Hotline Miami, but in doing so lacks the same sort of charm. The story is crap and none of the characters were funny. Heck the game didn't make sense at all at times. Controls didn't always do what I wanted them to do. Lock on clearly needed more work, and for some reason when my cop character fires his gun sometimes the bad guys run towards me from far off camera and then kill me. Not great. Plus due to a bug, the first three areas on Nightmare difficulty has everybody 1 HIT KILL the cops, regardless of how leveled up they are. Very frustrating. I would definitely like to see more games have a 70s style soundtrack as opposed to the cliche, cinematic sequences that are in far too many modern titles. #23: Ratchet and Clank PS4 (May 5th, 2016) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 8.5/10 Great Ratchet and Clank and a reimagining of the original Ratchet and Clank on the PS2. Fluid controls, solid gunplay. It was fun using the Groovitron on a large group of enemies only to take them all out with the RYNO. Going for bolts is pretty addicting, and it's made even better with the x20 multiplier in Challenge Mode. Insomniac Games did a good job making a Ratchet and Clank game that would utilize the capabilities of the PS4. The worlds look beautiful, and hopefully the next two titles (Going Commando and Up Your Arsenal) will be reimagined on the PS4. :platinum: #24 (PS4) & #29 (PS3) Murdered: Soul Suspect (May 10th, 2016 - July 24th, 2016) Difficulty: 2/10 Excitement: 6.5/10 Wasn't too impressed with Murdered Soul Suspect even though it looked interesting at first glance. The problem I had was I ran into a couple of noticeable bugs and glitches, including one where you just fall down endlessly at the museum. To fix this glitch I had to make the ghost train respawn. This game is simply solving a series of murders in Salem, Massachusetts, picking up clues along the way and learning from your human companion. There are more than plenty of collectibles and a couple of them require possessing a cat to obtain. I beat this game using no guides at all and was missing at least 66 percent of all the clues. I had to look up a Youtube guide for both the PS3 and PS4 versions because I just couldn't be bothered playing through the entire game again while still missing collectibles. I suppose this game could of used a well deserved patch, but unfortunately Airtight Games closed up shop. #30: Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor (July 28th, 2016) Difficulty: 3.5/10 Excitement: 7/10 Solid open world game based on J.R.R. Tolkiens fantasy in his novels. It focuses primarily on the land of Mordor, a rangers family is killed by the Black Hand and he is then aided by a wraith who was formally an elven archer. The game deliberately takes elements from the Batman Arkham games, as the combat in some ways looks nearly identical. The big draw is the Nemesis system, Uruks compete for power, should your character die, that Uruk gets promoted to Captain. Captains can die from other captains or by the hands of Tailon the ranger. Warchiefs are often accompanied by captains and therefore take a bit more effort to take down. The game has the usual sort of collectibles and lore/history that is seen in many other open world games. What it does isn't anything too special, but so far it is one of the better games to take a few pages from the J.R.R. Tolkien universe. I enjoyed the game, but found the trophies relating to the Nemesis system to be a bit frustrating. It took several hours to obtain the Level 25 Rune trophy, simply because I either wasn't getting a high enough rune or the rune was an epic, which does not count towards the trophy. The second DLC pack doesn't let you earn the trophy from there, which meant I had to make preparations to brand several captains and have them all turn on a warchief who was vulnerable to a weakness I can exploit. All in all it was good, and I'm planning to earn the rest of the DLC trophies soon. Edited August 24, 2016 by Ian Lee
Popular Post helloiamniven
#49 South Park: The Stick of Truth South Park: The Stick of Truth Platinum Trophy 16.47% Rare Difficulty: 4/10 Enjoyment: 8.5/10 This game was just a joy to play. An absolute joy. Obviously the main attraction is that it has the South Park name, and the chances are that if you're a big fan of the show you've played it already, but if you haven't it's everything you'd want from a South Park game. There's loads of fan-service, but it never comes across as pandering or annoying. It's actually great. A lot of the songs from the show (which are my personal favourite part of the show) make an appearance, and it all just feels so similar to an episode of the show. Outside of the South Park name, the game is a pretty solid turn-based RPG, with a deeper battle system than you'd expect at first glance. I think I could go on for a long time about everything I liked, but the best way to see what I would have said is just to play it yourself and take it all in. Also, I would recommend just enjoying your first playthrough, and doing a quick second one with a guide to mop up anything you've missed. The game doesn't take long, especially if you skip cutscenes on your second playthrough. The game is worth just getting immersed in.
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#135 - Stories: The Path of Destinies After playing a couple of hours, I thought it was a good game. I changed my mind quickly though, as the more I played the more issues popped up. It's an incredibly short game, each story takes at most 30 minutes. There are 25 story outcomes, which means you'll be seeing the same levels and paths and the 4 types of enemies in the game an awful lot. The 4 different sword, serve essentially for opening doors that lead to hidden treasures for the most part, apart from the obvious fighting.. The upgrade and leveling system seems unfinished and poorly designed. They're counter-intuitive, as to level up you need to do the most combos for maximum XP reward, now having upgrades that increase damage or kill enemies defeat the purpose. To be fair all of the skills except dashing through enemies are useless and it wouldn't make a difference if they didn't exist, same goes for the sword upgrades. So basically the whole leveling portion is pointless as there is no real reward to it. The environment looks neat, but also has graphical and technical problems, like the ground disappearing, falling through the floor or not being able to attack enemies. All this makes the grinding for levels boring as hell. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 3

little244
#17 Short game, still need to 100% the DLC but I don't feel like playing it anymore. It looks good, plays okay. I'm more of a speed fan than drifting, so there's was too many drift related events for my taste. The AI is not really balanced, it's either too easy or too hard. The part I hated the most tho is the "Outlaw" storyline where you need to escape cops and stuff like that, the cops AI is SO bad ! First, it's hard to find cops, and when you find them, you have to wait and slow down or you end up escaping really easily.. So, again, Most Wanted stays #1 in my NFS chart..
Popular Post Skilded
# 11 - Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered Platinum Difficulty: 5/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Another great Uncharted game. Good story and characters. Loving the Uncharted series! The treasures are very well hidden compared to the first Uncharted game. I had only found less than 20 treasures on my first play-through, out of 101! The trophies are very similar to those of the first game, with none too difficult or grindy. Only the DLC took quite some time to finish on the hardest difficulty.
GTA_Darren
I got many platinum this year so far, but nothing is more exciting than this one. I stuck in this Nope trophy for very long time and I try to do it by myself first. Then, I gave it up and using auto-fielding instead. However, it is still luck based trophy. I don't know when I will be able to unlock it, maybe never. Today after lunch I decide to play 1 game, when I face the first batter Jose Altuve, he hit my second pitch. The ball flied high and far, but I didn't think too much after so many disappointments. Next moment I see my outfielder jump to catch it right before it fly out to the wall. I was thinking if that's it, and I saw this long waiting Nope trophy pops on screen. At that moment I knew I got it, I finally platinum MLB 15 The Show. This is definitely one of the games which I spend a lot of times on it in past 12 months. It is the game I might still play it even I got platinum (I still want to collect all the baseball cards in the game). This also becomes my rarest platinum. I am glad I finally got it. #59 - MLB 15 The Show - PS4 Edited August 24, 2016 by GTA_Darren
DamagingRob
-snip- Well, at least it wasn't just me that found the scratching stickers part tiring. Thought it would be easier on the Vita, but it's probably akin to the rubbing minigame in Monster Monpiece. That was tiring, as well.. Collectibles weren't that bad for me. I followed what the trophy guide recommended, and got a few new stickers every time. Was a nice way to take a break from grinding levels, too, since you don't have to fight with that method. But it's RNG, so mileage may vary. :/ Congrats, on the Plat, and getting the 2nd fastest time.

My third trip to Fabletown, having platted on PS3 and PS4 as well, I can honestly say, as a fan of Willingham's comics, The Wolf Among Us is a very well made prequel to the FABLES series. Dark and interesting, the story of Bigby Wolf was more than worth playing three times and I hope very much for a sequel from the masters at Telltale soon. In no way difficult- though some Book of Fables require specific actions or lines of dialogue which are tricky to figure without a guide.
