Popular Post starcrunch061
Plat #183: Master of the Universe Unlock all other trophies. This game was kind of like a version of the Simpsons B-Sharps. I initially loved it, but it became less and less clever as I wound down to the plat. Usually, I complain that a 100% game should have had a plat. In this case, I think this game might have done better with a 100%. The post game grind to level 50 (which took around 60-70% of my total play time) was a nuisance. But the episodes themselves were great. The trophy images were lame. I wish they would have used some of the in-game posters (the level 50 trophies could have been the poster that said, "Wasted? So's your life.") Popular Post Hertz
Platinum #25 How I Spent My Summer Vacation Obtained all trophies. Playing this game of course!. Well I expected right from the beginning about the game having too much "plot" which is always approved by me I find the story fun to be honest. The game is very easy and I enjoyed every minute of it. Even the grinding was fun for me. I also checked out the online game play and that was fun as well. Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Not in the game but.... Best girl obviously.
Popular Post markcavan
#100 - Day of the Tentacle Remastered played on PSVita (34th plat of 2016) - 55.22% COMMON 100th platinum, wow! Took a while to reach this milestone. I'm glad this game turned out to be my 100th also considering I'm somewhat of a older gamer and played this as a youngster during the mid 90s on PC. The game itself holds up well and is still enjoyable and funny. A guide is recommended however to achieve all the trophies in one play-through as a large number are missable. Overall 7/10 enjoyment with a 2/10 for difficultly

Been on my back log for more than a year and I finally decided to clean it up. This game is really bad. I mean, really bad. Not much to say about it other than I'm glad it's over. Popular Post Cave Johnson
SENRAN KAGURA Bon Appetit! (Hanzo x Crimson Squad) Thank you for Cooking!! Obtained all trophies of the Hanzo x Crimson Squad pack. Another easy platinum. Completing 200 songs wasn't too bad, but it's a pretty stupid trophy for a game that only has 20 songs. I didn't really plan the platinum screenshot, because I had no idea when the trophy would come up. I'm pretty satisfied with how it turned out though ; )

PooPooBlast
Platinum #42- [PROTOTYPE]http://psnprofiles.com/lib/img/games/72f2d6/trophies/1L88bb03.pngPrototype was a fun game despite lacking in the story side. It gave you lots of powers to choose from, however some lacked enough power or range to make it obsolete. There's nothing much to say about the game. It was your decent and average anti-hero game. I run into some wall though when hunting for the collectibles. I had 199/200 orbs collected and i was shocked. I thought this was it. I was about to quit but then i had nothing to do so i just played and screwed around and behold!! I found the last orb on one of the buildings in times square. If this isnt luck then idk what is! I also couldn't stop thinking in my head on how this and infamous are very similar! Both came out 2009, though infamous' came out a month before. Both share an apocalyptic setting in NYC, while both are anti-heroes. They have cool superpowers fighting the military and mutated enemies. Furthermore, they both start not knowing what happened to them and figuring it out as they go.I enjoyed infamous more tbh because it had more replayable value to it. Getting to experience being good and evil was pretty fun in terms of story wise(except some set events) and also evil super powers. Infamous' story was way more consistent and made sense even while free roaming along with the mind boggling plot twist in the end.Overall I had fun playing the game, and I'll cut it some slack since it came out in 2009 as well as perhaps I tend to expect more from games now especially after playing infamous. Who knows perhaps my perception would've been different if I've played prototype first.Anyways I look forward to play prototype 2 as well as see what improvements they've made to the game. I'll be here soon to post again! Edited November 26, 2016 by poopooblast

Popular Post Bartolomeus
-- 17th platinum Grand Theft Auto V (PS4) Not much to add, really. I've already earned the PS3-version of this trophy, so when I brought over my PS3 online user to PS4 all but one online trophy popped, and I started at level 80 meaning that I didn't have to worry about the grinding I was complaining about after earning the PS3 trophy. Gathering all the collectibles was even less fun that the last time, of course, but I overall enjoyed replaying the game. The differences between the PS3 and the PS4 versions were not many, apart from the online mode and the graphics; if you're playing online it's definitely worth playing the PS4 version. The loading times are abysmal on the PS3, besides there's a lot more content on the PS4. First-person perspective is also new, but I believe I played in third-person most of the time (apart from the 15 hours required for a trophy) - I simply enjoy GTA the most in third person. A proper slaughter is preferred in first-person, though. -- 18th platinum Demon's Souls If you had asked me a couple of months ago if I'd ever earn this platinum, I would probably have said no. The farming seemed a task too tough for me and I didn't understand world and character tendency, and I just couldn't be bothered with learning about it. Then I saw a Demon's Souls lore video and suddenly the cinder that was my desire to play the game was set ablaze. Reading the PSNp guide taught me a nifty trick or two and suddenly I felt compelled to platinum it. Besides, I came across the trading thread and planned to ask for a few of the rarest stones, like the pure bladestone. However I was in luck; while farming another rare stone from the crystal lizards in the Shrine of Storms I came across the dual-wielding skeleton and decided to kill him instead of running past (just in case, eh), and on my fourth attempt he actually dropped the pure bladestone. I was also able to farm the other rare stones in a rather short amount of time, so I didn't need the help of the good samaritans of this community. A truly brilliant game. Dark Souls is my favourite, but I must admit that Demon's Souls ranks pretty close. There's something about the atmosphere in the game that really resonates with me. If you haven't played a Souls-game yet, you really should. Once you get the hang of it, these games will surely claim their spots on your top x games list. EDIT: Typo. Popular Post little244
Plat #18 - The Order: 1886 Got this game in special (5,99$CAD). It's a very beautiful game, nice story, amazing animations. Gameplay is not revolutionary but it's not a problem. The game is very short: 6-7 hours with no replay value, it would have been a problem if I had paid 60$ for it, for that not the case. I had a great time and enjoyed discovering this game. I would recommend it if you can rent it or get it at a reduced price. The platinum is very easy, no guide needed, just make sure you take the time to explore and use every weapon you can find.
Popular Post Valyrious
#47 KUPO KUPO GOD FUCKING DAMN IT FINALLY. I got all the achievements for the 360 version back when it came out, but could never be bothered to upgrade 30 accessories. Today I decided to go ham and finish Aeronite and finish the game as well as get the accessories. Now I never wanna look at this game again.I really do love the ending for it though. I think it does a good job explaining why Lightning is the way she is throughout the entire series, and wraps things up nicely. Now I'm getting ready to see how they'll bring her into FFXV. She's already been in XIV twice, so why not keep the streak alive, eh Square?Perhaps now I need to finish up FFXIII. And start XIII-2. Sigh. The adventure never ends. Popular Post erickt123
#52 - Wolfenstein: The New Order Another old franchise rebooted to the modern era, so before Doom 4 becomes, well, just DOOM, and with a new Quake coming onto PC, Wolfenstein: The New Order came a couple years back and set interest once more in the Wolfenstein series. As single-player is becoming seen as nonexistent with FPS games, Wolfenstein: The New Order shows that FPS games can still have good single-players, when done right at least. The New Order did not disappoint, it delivered a solid single-player campaign that goes all out with weapons and an alternate history that's far more interesting than, well, fictional wars and Nazis Zombies. Along with solid gameplay, The New Order also features a story that's well handled and gives B.J., the grandfather of FPS grunts out of all people, some actual character and emotion to be more than just some angry man who kills Nazis for a living, albeit, he still does that anyways, but you know, that's his job. Now granted, the story didn't exactly explored the concept of a Nazi controlled world, but even at that, the story in The New Order stands out better than many FPS games released in the past couple years. With excellent gameplay and a good storyline to boot, Wolfenstein: The New Order is among my favorite FPS games to come out in years, all without multiplayer to boot. Of course, against an army with advanced technology, super soldiers, and absolutely no moral, the best solution to this is to bring loads of weapons and complete a set of shiny trophies on a list. Case in point, Wolfenstein: The New Order is a pretty straightforward Platinum Trophy to earn, most of the trophies you'll earn in this game can be done just by progressing the main story and unlocking perks on the way. Regarding the perks, there's around 32 perks in the games, which can be unlocked by completing certain task as well as unlocking previous perks to continue unlocking the rest. The perks comes in four categories, which includes Stealth, Tactical, Assault, and Demolition, of which each perk category have perks catered specifically to that playstyle and the more perks to unlock, the better your chances are in encounters using a specific playstyle. Most of them are rather simple, some to the point that they're unmissable unless you only want to play the game in one playstyle at all times. For example, one perk asks you to stealth kill a Nazi Commander with your knife, which can be earned early on in the game, heck, the game even has a tutorial pop-up for that. Some are longer, but still simple enough to get, like killing 10 enemies using grenades. However, that's not to say all of them are free of being annoying to unlock, since some Demolition perks do come off as just that. The most prominent example I can recall is that one perk that asks you to indirectly kill 5 Nazis with their dropped grenades, and yes, it sounds easy, but for me, even though I could of sworn I shot a Nazi before he can toss his grenade because for some reason, the grenades don't explode, causing me to retry a checkpoint to try again multiple times. Other than that though, most perks can be earned in a first playthrough, as the game gives more than enough opportunities to pretty much do them all. As for the rest of the game, well, there's plenty of Nazi gold to collect, and what's a Wolfenstein game without that? Throughout many of the game's chapters, there's gold, letters, and health/armor upgrades to be found, while the first two are just for the trophies that goes along with them, the health/armor upgrades allows you to improve how well you can survive via a maximum health increase or increase in armor points obtained, so exploration is a key thing in the game as there's a lot of supplies throughout. There's also Enigma Codes, of which when a full set is collected, you can unlock bonus difficulty modes for the game, which does increase playtime to an extent. There are four sets of Enigma codes, 18 in each set, 72 in total. Most of the collectibles can be found by some searching around, although some are well hidden, so a guide may help if you need. Gold and letters are there for the sake of collecting, whereas once you get all the Enigma Codes, you'll have to crack the code in the main menu, so of course, a guide would be helpful to crack said codes in a relatively short amount of time. Once that's out of the way, enjoy piling yourself up with virtual gold. There's two timelines in the game to pick from, which can be done from the beginning of the game, of which choosing one then and one later would give you two trophies that are rather easy. As for the game's difficulty, you can pretty much finish the hardest difficulty option, Uber, from the very beginning. It may seemed daunting, but really, it's not, actually, The New Order is one of the easiest FPS games to come a long while. When I first started on "I am Death Incarnate!," I didn't exactly had much trouble say for a few hard sections here and there, so when I got to Uber, well, even though the enemies do more damage to you overall, you can still survive enough shots to take the Nazis down with a fair amount of ease. I kind of wish the game was a bit more difficult, though that didn't exactly made my experience any less fun. With all that set and done, I completed the entire game on Uber and finished what the game has left to offer with another Platinum Trophy on my list. Much like DOOM, I wish we see more FPS games like this, since single-player FPS games aren't something I see often nowadays, let alone a good one. Difficulty: 4/10 (One of the easiest FPS games to come out in quite a while) Enjoyment: 9/10 (Dual-wielding shotguns and a hallway full of Nazis? Sure, why not)
Popular Post Icebrand1270
Platinum 95 PS4 Platinum 11 Sleeping Dogs (PS4) 23 Platinums on the year so far, which is the best I have EVER done in a single year... and I still have 4 months to go! GO ME! I'm not the biggest fan nor the biggest hater of PS3 ports/remakes/remasters but I enjoyed this on PS3 so I decided to do this on PS4. The story is good and the action is all right as well. You are Wei Shen, an undercover cop in Hong Kong tasked with taking down a Triad family (Sun on Yee) from within. You fight Triads and police while struggling with keeping a personal vendetta at bay and trying not to break down from psychological stress. With nice plot twists I won't spoil here that I still enjoyed the second time around, the story was still a good time. The game is moderate in difficulty, but is tougher on PS4 due to extra missions (ex. Zodiac Tournament) being integrated into the main game and now being required for the Chief Inspector trophy (100% of all main and side missions complete). The Gold Stat Awards (30 needed for the Solid Gold trophy) entail everything from different types of kills to collectibles that are somewhat difficult to find. Still, a player who is good at open-world games will do well with this one, whether on PS3 or PS4. All in all, a nice Platinum #95 for me and more enjoyable than a lot of the recent Plats I have earned as of late. Let the countdown to Platinum 100 begin!
