Popular Post straysheep87
#153 - Virginia (PS4) I don't know why these "Walking Simulators" have all bizarre and confusing stories (e.g. Master Reboot, Ether One, Gone Home, etc). The second playthough was boring as hell, but at least the game is short.
Popular Post IzTriicky__
#4: Under Night in Birth EXE:Late Think only about 2 days after my CoD Remastered plat I was trying to figure what to go for next. Noticed I only had two trophies so I decided to go for the plat. Actually really easy. Probably one of the easier fighting games to get a platinum but it was still fun to do. Survival and some of the training mode trophies(Byakuya and Yuzuhira) were a little difficult but very doable.
Popular Post Fire
#90 - South Park: The Stick of Truth South Park™: The Stick of Truth™ Platinum Trophy Collected all South Park™: The Stick of Truth™ trophies. So this game was awesome. While playing it, it felt like i was watching one of the SP episodes. Played the whole game as Jew, because why not It's a very good class, especially with a fully upgraded Plagues of Egypt. Most of the time i was using Butters as a buddy and Cartman, who's fire farts were OP. Most of the collectibles are easy to find, but still there are many other missable trophies. Bunch of jokes, a lot of "What a f**k?!" moments and classic South Park story is what makes this game great overall Difficulty 3/10 Enjoyment 10/10 Edited October 10, 2016 by Whyfire

Popular Post DesmaBR
Platinum #50 The Ashen ChevalierMastered Trails of Cold Steel II and earned every trophy. This game supports screenshots on PS3, but trophy pop-ups don't get in them. So here's a screenshot from the post-credits image. Just like how I gave closure to my PS2 with Persona 4, my favorite JRPG on the PS2; I give closure to my PS3 with Trails of Cold Steel II, my favorite JRPG on the PS3 (At least until P5 steals the title, heh. I'll play that one on PS4, tho) I don't think it's hard to give this title to this game, after all, the PS3 was pretty shitty when it comes to the genre. But that doesn't mean I'm giving this title to it just because the other games weren't as good; even if this was released on the PS2, I'd still put it on my top 5. The battle system is loads of fun, albeit being pretty broken (But hey, every good JRPG is broken by nature); the soundtrack is stellar and the story is really good; been a while since plot-twists legit surprised me or even made me cry... or even made me do both at the same time. Admitelly, the plot does have problems, and it doesn't feel like the build up from the first game really pays off; but weirdly enough, it sets up the sequel with the stuff I was actually looking for. That one is going a masterpiece if it delivers. Pretty hard to get into this game, since not only you have to finish the first Cold Steel to just understand the plot, you'll need to finish all the other games in the series (Including the ones that aren't released in the west) to understand all the references, and it's not going to get easier getting into these games anytime soon. Popular Post Elvick_
LEGO Batman 2: DC Super Heroes (PS Vita) ~ Platinum #90 Complete HeroCollect all trophies. Flash actually attacked in Justice League Mode when I played through this time, so it was pretty easy to get gold on them since he wasn't being so dumb. Thank goodness. The last time I tried and bronzed the harder level with him in it. Since all he would do is do this weird animation like a limbo, and then get rekt by ranged attacks. :/ It was easy when he'd actually attack properly. The cutscenes in this are pretty badly compressed, not as bad as I remember Harry Potter being, but still not 'good' like the more recent games. The levels are structured similarly to the console version, but not quite as interesting or fun. But hey. It apparently does have more characters, but that doesn't mean much. And unlike the console version it actually lets you swap costumes at any time. Not sure why the console version didn't do it that way. The loading screens were pretty neat, they were stylized art [similar to the way the icons look but more detailed obviously] and each level had it's own art for the loading screen, even the Batcave hub.Glad this one is over with though. The red bricks were so expensive I couldn't be bothered to get them to make the game easier to go through again to get stuff. Luckily you don't even need to buy everything in this one to get the platinum. Edited October 10, 2016 by Elvick_

Also, that this marks a milestone in my trophy milestones, as this is my 10th Platinum trophy! Overall, it was awesome playing through this game again as part of BioShock: The Collection, in 1080p/60 FPS. I can't wait to get started on the remastered versions of BioShock 2 and BioShock Infinite, though it's unlikely I'll be getting the Platinum trophies for either of those 2 games. Still, I'm glad to finally play one of my favorite game series of all time in their definitive versions! Popular Post Dead Weight
#162 Akiba's Trip: Undead & Undressed A game that is modeled after the real Tokyo neighbourhood where the main character is turned into essentially a vampire and must defeat his enemies by stripping the clothes off of them. What the actual fuck. The game does have a lot of replay value with New Game + and multiple character routes but the combat can be a janky clusterfuck at times. I do like the fact that the PS4 version had all the free and paid DLC included. Edited October 10, 2016 by A-Brawl3r
Popular Post Boomshanks
( 32) Playstation All-Stars: Battle Royale (+100%) All-Star Legend Enjoyment: 6/10 Arcade Mode: 2/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Wow, I really enjoyed playing through Arcade mode with every character - said no one... ever! Really, this Arcade Mode has to be the most boring and uninspired one I have ever seen in a fighting game. For some reason the first 4 matches are 3 minutes long instead of having a kill limit. This means you'll spend 12 minutes just to get through half of the Arcade mode with one character. And you'll have to do it 20 times... The game can be fun though, especially with friends. It's the closest we'll ever get to a Super Smash game and it's really fun to play with some of the characters that you love from other games (looking at you Big Daddy). I would have liked it more had they just copied the formula from Super Smash though. The ringouts are sorely missed and you never really have that tension of being close to death and having to avoid being hit. Instead, you can only get kills with Super moves, which could be fun, until you realize that they are incredibly unbalanced, so some characters who have shitty Supers don't really stand a chance. The game is also pretty bare-bones. You get the Arcade mode and pretty much nothing else. The only other option you have is to go online, which is where the real fun is, especially when playing with friends. Trophywise, the game isn't to difficult. Having to complete Arcade mode with every character feels like an absolute chore, but the rest are really easy. Performing a Level 3 Super with certain characters can be done in Practice mode, and the Combo trophies aren't nearly as difficult as you would expect them to be. The game is, by far, the most fun to play online. I remember playing Tag Team with a friend quite a lot some years ago and it was great. When I went back to the game recently, I only had to get the Triple Kill online. Unfortunately, the online mode has pretty much become a wasteland. I want to thank LightTapir and Qurx and some random (who kicked our ass) for helping out in getting that final trophy. Popular Post starcrunch061
Two this weekend: Plat #187: Platinum Platinum First Trophy Earned: October 27th, 2009 Platinum Earned: October 8th 2016 Plat #188: Platinum trophy Collect all ENSLAVED trophies First trophy earned: March 13th, 2011 Platinum earned: October 9th, 2016 So, as you can see, it was a clean-up weekend. Neither of these games held up particularly well for me. Uncharted 2 felt more boring than I remembered (it's probably why I never bothered to come back to it, or play any of its sequels). ENSLAVED just made me sad: I really like the aesthetic of this game, but the gameplay is just lacking (and God, that camera!). Glad to be done with both, but sometimes memories are best left in the past. Oh, and great originality on that platinum trophy, Naughty Dog. I can't believe I didn't notice that name and description when I platted it?

Really glad I didn't skip it, now. Very Hard is no joke, though. ^^' I was really getting frustrated, at certain points. One shot and you're dead, sometimes.. Popular Post TheYuriG
Batman: Counter Counter Counter Origins Well, they fucked up the combat for story mode on this game. Enemies are just beyond agressive, reaction times are shit and it gets worse when you enter NG+ and IATN as the ninja enemies don't have the double counter sign above their heads, so either you mash a lot or you get rekt hit all the time. More than once I got hit by 3 individual enemies in sequence which is infurating. Combat for challenge mode was untouched A.K.A same thing as Arkham City (= perfection). Hopping from story to challenge just made the glaring difference become worse, as I was barely winning my story mode fights and I was completely OBLITERATING on challenge mode, getting the vast majority of the maps done in first attempt and often doing double the required score. Now let's talk about all the pointless things this game has: Incredibly long, skippable, detective scenes. I already know how did that girl hanging on the ceiling was killed, I know how the operator from Gotham Security was blasted from the panel, I know all this shit. Let me skip them like you let me skip cutscenes. Doing them once is ok, doing them 3 times is BOOOOOORIIIIIIIING! NG+ is pointless because of IATN. I Am The Night (IATN) is the same as NG+ but YOLO. If you die, you restart from the beginning again and there are no counter indicators, just like NG+. Eletrecutioner fight was stupid (see below) and his character is so empty that his existence is only is explained by the fact your loot his gloves near the end of the game. The story is all fucked up. Per example, you at once say you can't let penguin get away and not even 2 minutes later he does and you are like 'alright, fuck it, nevermind' because REASONS!?!?!? https://youtu.be/UgBBitvVHAg?t=36m30s (36 minutes, 30 seconds) Majority of the assassins hired to kill you are side missions. If you don't go after Shiva or Deadshot per example, they don't interefere with ANYTHING in your progress in the game. It's like they don't even exist! "50 million bucks but hey that's alright, if you don't wanna fight, I don't want either, we cool bro." Combat challenges were all the same thing A.K.A. too easy to beat. Custom challenges are the same thing as ranked challenges, but you get to choose ANY modifier you want or none. You need to 3* all of them too because fuck you that's why. Dark Knight ranks are missable, not every room is possible to do many of the challenges so if you miss all eligible rooms in this playthrough, that's NG+ for you. Or IATN. Or you are fucked and go cry in a corner. Minor complaing about needing 8 people for Clutch and 7+ for I Like Those Odds and Predator Paragon. Getting this many people together was a pain, thanks to acedragons, bullstomp, mtalcat, lhomie, xoutlaw123x, wukazen, w1ngman for getting this done. Every other trophy can and should be done with 2 other players, see below. I could keep going with the complaints, but I rather talk about the good things about this game: MP is EASILY boostable and one of the easiest and fastest prestiges I've ever achieved. You need 3 to start a game and if you are smart (I hope you are if you are reading this), you are going to make a 2 joker vs 1 bane team and do the capture method, stepping in and out as fast as possible of the area. As long as the bane member isn't MOTHERFUCKING PIECE OF SHIT and stays inside the are to get the MISERABLE 25 exp, both jokers should rack up around 32k exp per match, just moving back and forth. Expertise with timing is essential and the Bane member will get LOADS of exp from using the tactical dart on the double jokers. I got 38k exp per match being bane member like this. DON'T BE A PIECE OF SHIT AFTER 25 EXP WHEN YOU CAN GET 400 EXP! Exp booster is actually quite a waste, it gives you 1k experience ending match instead of the 500 usual end game exp. Bane member MUST use a undergear that hasten ability usage and the first tactical dart which is the fastest one to cooldown. If you have an ability booster, use it when you are Bane and you are set to get 42k+ exp in a match. The predator maps are much more fun this time around. Put gel on top of staircases and use Heavy Lifting to hang up to 3 non-armored enemies to gargoyles. It's like Inverted Takedowns at a distance! Then you just use the batclaw to make the armored enemies fall over the railing one floor below or use inverted takedowns on them because they are immune to silent takedowns. Or blow a wall into them. Or propane tanks. Or proximity mines. Or ledge takedown. Or you put a line crossing 2 gargoyles and do a zipline/tightrope. You know what, fuck those bitches. All of them. Shock Gloves are awesome, fuck ninjas. Now the question is, do I recommend people to play this game? It all depends if you are OK boosting MP (it's easy and quick, trust me, do it), if you are capable of handling the frustration of the broken story combat and if you can handle the story flaws. Call of Juarez: Bound in Blood Ace of Spades I like this game, MP was easy to do and Very Hard difficulty was only difficult on the initial stages and then Thomas side of mission 14. Volcano Gun is OP. Doing Gunslinger right now because of it and hopefully The Cartel someday in the future too. I hated the showdowns however, they were stupid.
