Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
#31 - Wolf Among Us Full moon - 59.91% rarity Difficulty: 1/10 - Really not difficult, just point and click and reloaded the story on 3 chapters. Enjoyment: 8/10 - it's a good story and was well worth my time, might do it on the ps3 one or EU version if the lists are separate. Very good game to play as my first platinum back from america, been back in the swing of things for a week really and I'm already on an absolute roll.

Popular Post PooPooBlast
Platinum #46 - Tekken Tag Tournament 2 http://psnprofiles.com/lib/img/games/308d6d/trophies/1Ld2b023.png It's been a long time since I've platinumed another tekken game. In fact, tekken 6 was my first plat and looking at this now, it's kind of amazing how long it took me to get another tekken plat. A little over 4 years. What I can say, tekken is one of my favourite games ever. I grew up on it playing through all of the tekken 1-6 including revolution, evil within( I think it was a tekken 5 add-on, not sure), and now ttt2 as the only spin-offs. I loved every moment as it brought back nostalgic moments. Im definitely going to continue playing past the platinum to reach TRUE TEKKEN GOD in ghost battle with my awesome Paul Phoenix and his outrageous Phoenix smasher. Until then I'm probably going to be on a platinum drought for a loong period since I'm probably not going to buy any new game till ps4 pro comes out. Until then, peeps I'll be back soon! ;D Edited October 16, 2016 by poopooblast
Popular Post MStalker58
#118 Helldivers First off, thanks to Hemiak for helping with a few trophies and just being a good co-op partner. Sorry about that friendly fire and throwing that grenade right in your face. Helldivers might be my favorite PS+ game from the past year or so, and that's saying something since I'm usually not a big fan of multiplayer games. I really appreciate some of the design choices in the game, that helped give it a sense of community and teamwork. On the big picture side, the whole setup of the community fighting one large war together and having each match contribute influence to the current war efforts really gave the game a sense of purpose. This made it different than most MP games I've played where the only real purpose is to get XP for yourself and rank up. I usually get bored with those types of setups rather quick and just don't see the point or fun in that. True, you can rank up in Helldivers, but it's not the point and it doesn't really effect your ability to play the game. The important weapons and gear are unlocked through completing missions instead of ranking up which I enjoyed more than having them locked behind ranks. On the smaller scale, the fact that there are no automatic respawns and you have to wait for one of your teammates to actually input a command to respawn fallen comrades really added some tension and that community feeling. Some of the most nail biting moments were spent staring at the screen just hoping your teammate can survive long enough to respawn the rest of the team so you can get back in the action. On the flip side, if you are the last man standing towards the end of a tough match, you can just feel the tension and pressure of everyone waiting to see if you can call them in before dying. There were several times (and there's even a trophy for it) where I was the only Helldiver alive and swarmed by enemies, only to finish the respawn command at the very last second before dying myself. Things like that provided some great moments. Also, I know it's said about most MP games, but Helldivers is definitely more enjoyable if you play with some friends or a good group of teammates. If you get stuck with some randoms who don't play well with others than the game can get frustrating and you often feel like you aren't making much progress. Playing the game in smaller doses every few days was also more enjoyable because the wars can go on for months and if you play every single day, I can see the action becoming repetitive after a while. Still, a great game and one I'd definitely recommend checking out to anyone who got it from PS+.

I really enjoyed replaying the game, this time on ps4. Compared to ps3 version, it had less glitches and frame drops. Story wise, it's very good and it's probably in my Top 3 Telltale games. Popular Post 30 Year Old Boomer
Platinum #46- Uncharted: Golden Abyss PS Vita. Rating: 8.5/10. I'm relatively new to the Uncharted games, only have played and platted 4 back when it came out in May (Totally great experience, loved it.) , but I joined my great friend ShadowStar83x's Fall backlog challenge and thought it would be a good idea to knock this off since it had been sitting on my Vita for 2 years. And I'm glad to say that my choice was a wise one. It's a prequel to Drake's Fortune, so the characters with the exception of Drake and Sully, are brand new characters. I liked Marisa quite a bit, she was a good character. Dante was an unlikeable person to me, he seemed like a sleazy type of guy. Guerro, the main villain of the game, was an okay villain, but I didn't really think much of him, although he sort of reminded me of a tiger. Anyways, this was a pretty solid game. The story was pretty decent, I liked it well enough. Graphics were pretty good for a Vita game, it certainly still holds up even nearly 5 years later. (Hard to believe the Vita will be half a decade old this upcoming February, time sure flies by really fast.) The special Vita specific controls actually were pretty solid, I loved the motion control aiming where when you aimed your gun, you could raise your Vita up and the gun would go up as well, pretty neat addition. Rubbing artifacts and cutting through stuff was also interesting to me. I just hated that light puzzle that required to hold your Vita to a light source, I had to use a lamp and take off the head of it to make it easier, but that's a minor complaint. Everything was mostly pretty good, it's certainly an great AAA game for the Vita, this is definitely worth a try. As for the trophies themselves, I'd rate the list a 5/10 in terms of difficulty. It's pretty standard business, getting weapon kills, collectible trophies, etc. It was a fun list though with some pretty cool trophies like pressing a parrot in a chapter to get him to say unique lines. And crushing wasn't too bad, I made it through the game with relative ease, and I was also picking up the remaining collectibles as well. The final boss fight was pretty easy, I didn't screw up in my crushing playthrough, so yay for that! The bounty trophies did require a little grinding, but nothing too bad. Overall, I had a pretty good time with this game and definitely recommend it, one of my favorite Vita games! My next platinum should be Hitman: Absolution on PS3 which I haven't purchased yet (Not just because of the 47th platinum thing, but it's always intrigued me and it is relatively cheap at this point, so why not?), but until then, I'll be working on an neglected game that's been on the back burner for nearly 3 years, Infamous 1. Nice to have a new platinum as well. Edited October 17, 2016 by Kat

Popular Post Shurax_Urden
#35 Platinum Unlock all trophies Enjoyment : 7/10 Difficulty : 5/10 Finally managed to complete this one! Has been in my backlog for a long time. Paladin mode was easy for the most part but had some tricky parts. The trials were also easy although I found really frustrating defeating the titans in X time and the one you have to kill 10 toys without using R2. I went through hell to get that one. Overall really good game, good story and really good music. MercurySteam did a great job with this one.

Some routes were better than others, but for the most part, I really enjoyed it. Popular Post Boomshanks
( 33) Resogun I came, I saw, I blew stuff up Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 5/10 Wanted to make my first PS4 platinum the very first game I ever played on the system. I really like the developer Housemarque and absolutely loved Super Stardust on the Playstation 3, so since Resogun looked to be more of the same, I knew I had to play it. Even with those high standards, the game did not dissapoint. It is a blast to play. It has all the fast-paced action you want from an Arcade game and it really nails the "one more go" aspect that these games tend to have. The gameplay is simple, but it's a lot of fun and very addictive, especially with the feats and challenges that are now in the game. You have to be ready for some tense moments, especially in the later levels and during some of the bosses. Narrowly avoiding death during a very tricky scene is something that will never get old. The graphics also look incredible and it was the perfect game to show off what the PS4 is capable of. Trophywise, most of the list is pretty straightforward, but some can be quite challenging. Saving all humans on the later levels is difficult as you have to be ready when they become available, especially with the secret humans that just seem to appear out of nowhere. Completing the game on Veteran is also quite a challenge, especially those final two levels. Thankfully, you only have to complete one level on Master difficulty, as here all the enemies shoot bullets when they die (and there are A LOT of enemies, which leads to moments where the entire screen is just filled with bullets). In co-op, the game is twice as much as fun, so I really recommend you try that if you have the game. I had the great pleasure of playing and platinuming the entire game with my great friend Qurx and it was amazing. Thanks buddy Edited December 30, 2016 by Boomshanks

Popular Post AJC3317
Cars 2 - MASTER AGENT Cars 2 is a video game adaptation of the Pixar film of the same name. Interestingly for a game consisting completely of cars, the game is a first person puzzle platformer, with some light RPG elements thrown in for good measure. Anyone buying that? No? Ok, fine. Of course it's a racing game! And a surprisingly solid one at that. Lightning McQueen and the C.H.R.O.M.E. agents are out to stop Professor Z from setting off weapons all over the world. The best way to do this, obviously, is to have a bunch of races. But none of this is actually happening, because the entire game takes place inside a simulation. So much for drama! Don't let the child friendly appearance of the game's subject matter confuse you, Cars 2 is a very well made racing game. All your favorite Cars characters are on display, and while they do have differing stats (the only two stats being speed or power), they all handle fairly similarly. But the similar feel is a solid one as each car handles nicely as you careen around the track. You can gain turbo by pulling off aerial stunts, bashing into other cars, or drifting. A nice touch was added to the drifts, where if you drift into a wall your character will automatically hop up on two wheels to ride the wall and keep the speed and flow of the race in tact. Each raceway has numerous hidden shortcuts to find, and you will need to use them if you want to win some of the races later on in the campaign. Again, don't go into Cars 2 thinking every race will be a walk in the park. You will need to use all your racing skill if you wish to take home every gold. There's more than just the standard race mode that Cars 2 has to offer. Battle race gives the game a Mario Kart feel as random weapon pickups are available on the track. And like Mario Kart, the further behind the leader you are the better weapon you will obtain. Attack mode has you chasing down Professor Z's minions, cleverly named Lemons, on the race track. You must destroy as many as you can to keep the timer from reaching zero. Survival mode gives you a constantly depleting shield that you can replenish by driving through checkpoints and destroying enemies. Each of these modes switches up the formula of driving around a track just enough to be worth playing. Cars 2 also boasts local multiplayer, and in addition to every mode listed above being able to play with friends, there are also two multiplayer specific modes. Arena is a pure head to head destruction competition, where the first player to destroy enough cars wins. Disruptor is a capture the flag type game, where players must take a spawned bomb to their opponents base in order to destroy it. These modes are a nice diversion for when you get tired of the more standard racing affairs. While Cars 2 may not do anything to revolutionize the racing genre, it doesn't do anything wrong either. While many may dismiss it as a kiddy game due to it's subject material, and others may dismiss it for being a movie tie-in, it exceeds both of those labels. If you are a fan of the Cars films, or you simply like racing games, give Cars 2 a chance. You won't regret it.
Popular Post TheLastSurvivorD
#55 - Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Sand Master Obtain all other trophies. First Prince of Persia game I've ever played, and I enjoyed it so. Kinda reminded me of God of War with all of the elemental abilities, puzzles, and climbing (though this obviously has more of that than GoW). The combat was nice, nothing particularly special but all of the elements earned from upgrading The Prince were useful and definitely worth it, my favorite being the Ice Blast and the Stone Armor. Some of the puzzles were fun to figure out, and there were quite a few challenging climbing portions and hallways filled with nasty traps that I had fun getting through, made better by the various abilities you get throughout the game. Nothing was especially hard, the no damage trophies took some retries and the hunt for sarcophagi, the collectables in the game, wasn't tedious at all thanks to the guide here. All in all a very enjoyable game. I hope I can get the trilogy and 2008 soon so I could jump back into this series soon. Popular Post Elvick_
Skylanders Imaginators (PS4) ~ Platinum #92 ProlanderEarn all other trophies. By far the easiest Platinum in any Skylanders game. You don't even need to complete each level with 3 stars, no real challenge trophies [just things you'd never think to do, like ditch Eruptor on a raft and send him down the river alone, which is pretty funny to me]. And you can just do everything on easy.I played the game on hard, otherwise I probably would have gotten the platinum even sooner than I already did. Like the other games at times it got pretty challenging on hard, Kaos is probably a nightmare. I lost multiple characters in the last level just trying to fight a new enemy that took soooo many hits, but hit like a truck too. And the sheer volume was pretty crazy.Really, really enjoyed it. I'd say it's a top 3 contender easily for the Skylanders games. Which puts it up with Swap Force and SuperChargers for me. Definitely Toys for Bobs best Skylanders at least. I usually find their games far less enjoyable, and slow. And while this one is slower it's not nearly as slow as Trap Team was. There were tons of references and cameos of old characters too, it felt even more like they were bringing out characters left and right for various things. There seems to be a lot of post-game content, in missions that pop up [where a lot of the older characters show up].Crash was a lot of fun to play as too, he's pretty hard to use on hard though. He'd either die, or almost die and I'd have to switch him. He has extra lives, but they don't make up for his low attack or health. And it doesn't restore his health fully when it revives him. Man I can't wait for the series on Netflix to start up. Will still be playing this game for awhile for the fun of it, like I always do with Toys to Life games. edit; I'm not a fan of the character customization gimmick though. Most things to pick from are hideous, and you can only have something walking on two feet. No quadrapeds is lame, particularly when they design so few of them anymore. And unlocking the items for it is annoying, especially if you have like 10+ chests. [and they have microtransactions to sell chests in teh game lulz, was looking at bestbuy and saw they even had physical bags of something that do the same thing lolwat, but whatever].
