Popular Post TristanBrown17
Plat #42 Oh man. Do I understand the feather hunt grind that people always talk about now... Happy to have finally played one of the most highly acclaimed games in the series, and I have very mixed opinions. In terms of story, the game was fantastic. It jumped from time to time, but the underlying theme of revenge was great. For an old game, the controls weren't too bad. But it is such a change going all the way back to this game after platinuming every Assassin's Creed on the PS4. Overall, the game was a fantastic experience that I was finally able to join people with on this platinum.

Popular Post Rick_Sanchez
Difficulty 4/10 Fun 7/10 The hardest part was grinding everyone to have max lily ranks with everyone else (22 characters in total) and then grinding everyone to level 99. Aside from those 2 requirements the game was not that difficult and you can play it on easy. I did like the tactical turn based battle system that plays like Disgaea/Fire Emblem. I only ever struggled with one or two quest in the game. Now onward to Neptunia Action U
Popular Post Katt
#52 The Legendary Hero (METAL GEAR SOLID 4) Obtained all trophies. My long journey of almost 3 years has finally come to an end. To be honest, it was more than 3 years. Almost 7 years since the first time. I played this magnificent game in a friend's house. Since I had no PS3, on a weekend, I did an speedrun just watching the cutscenes. I was... speechless.

Popular Post Yami
#60 Corpse Party: Blood Drive - Finality So the Corpse Party trilogy finally comes to an end. Despite some things that I think the writers could've done better, I really like the plot of this trilogy and I'm rather sad that it came to an end. Ending wasn't the most satisfying, but it could've been a lot worse. I will only recommend this to people who have played and enjoyed the previous entries in the series (which are only available for PSP). If you haven't however, don't bother with it as you won't understand anything that's going on and the events of the previous games are never explained. And yes, I know this is the most boring platinum screenshot ever, so have a screenshot of Yoshiki patting Ayumi on the head instead !

Popular Post Sunflower
#58 - Wheels of Aurelia Wheels of Aurelia looked really interesting when I saw it pop up on the PS Store when it first released and for £6 thought I'd give it a go. The narrative style and multiple endings were simple but I thought it worked pretty well. It's got a visual novel-esque style to it with the odd race and driving simulation thrown in too. All of the characters were interesting (Gorilla was my favourite) and you can choose to give people the silent treatment or get to know them in much more detail. The platinum was pretty simple but there are quite a few endings to achieve so it got a little boring towards the end with backtracking for cars, going through the same section for the 5th time to reach a new ending etc.
Popular Post Tanuzomi
#42 - Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard GirlsAcquired all trophies. Very nice yet very short game. :'( As Neptunia fan you should go on and buy it after all! As non Neptunia fan... you should buy it, too! ='D Even Delphinus was a piece of cake in this game... I remember how nasty she was in Rebirth 2... xO The Lily grinding was with LV99 of course again as always the longest fun to enjoy... about uhm... 7+ hours until all girls where willing to throw a Yuri party there... ='D The story was Neptunia like again very amusing and this Time Eater aka Godzilla "Biollante" reference... damn... I only saw this Kaiju not the Time Eater infront of me every time I battled him for several runs... :'D

Popular Post AJC3317
LEGO MARVEL's Avengers Look! Up in the sky! It's a bird! It's a plane! No, it's... another LEGO game! This time it's LEGO MARVEL's Avengers. And yes, I'm aware that opening line comes from a DC Comics character. But what strikes me the most as someone who's not a huge fan of comic books is just how similar both Marvel's and DC's rosters are. There are blatant rip offs of characters up and down each side. But let's focus on Marvel for now. LEGO MARVEL's Avengers tells the stories of the blockbuster films The Avengers, and The Avengers: Age of Ultron where they team up to defeat Loki and Ultron, respectively. If you've ever played a LEGO game you know what you're in for. Progress is made through levels by breaking and/or rebuilding things, which is always fun, and there are a mind-boggling amount of collectibles to hunt down. The emphasis of LEGO MARVEL's Avengers seems to be on the collectibles, since there are only 15 story levels to play through. Of those 15, only 12 are dedicated to telling the stories of the movies. The other 3 are dedicated to short stories of Iron Man, Captain America, and Thor. The LEGO games usually thrive in re-telling an already told story with added humor and charm, but due to the reduced number of episodes the stories become too compact and hard to follow. Even the humor and charm seems somewhat phoned in, as most scenes simply attempt to rely on a running gag involving a milkshake. You normally play as multiple heroes throughout each level, some stages of which can take place in vastly different places from one another, so the level design feels disjointed. Small improvements have been made to every LEGO game over the years, and LEGO MARVEL's Avengers is no different. The game will now (finally) remember which red bricks you had turned on between your gaming sessions, so you don't have to go into the options menu and turn them on every time you start up the game. Most characters now roll after landing from a jump, which helps keep their movement speed up and thus keeps the flow of the game moving at a good pace. Unfortunately there are also a few notable feature removals from this iteration. There is no small character select wheel when playing in free play, you must always choose from the giant roster of characters available which quickly becomes tedious to try and scroll through. Speaking of the giant roster, there are many characters included in LEGO MARVEL's Avengers that only the most hardcore of Marvel fans will recognize, yet inexplicably removed from the game is the feature that tells you each characters' skill on the character select screen. I ended up using only a small handful of the available characters who's skills I already knew throughout the game because of this. Of other small annoyance is the minikit detector still not being able to make up it's mind about whether it wants to show me where the minikit will appear, or what I need to do to make it appear. The LEGO games have always thrived on charm, but LEGO MARVEL's Avengers misses the mark in that department. And when that happens the flaws that the LEGO games have appear more brightly. LEGO MARVEL's Avengers is a one step forward, two step backwards entry into the series, making small improvements to the franchise but removing features and still refusing to fix the problems that have plagued the games forever. It's still enjoyable to play, but it misses the heights that previous versions have reached.

TristanBrown17
I would post a bunch of pictures, but I don't want to do that to the thread! I just got within the last couple hours AGS: Pac-man AGS: Dig-Dug AGS: Galaga I would never platinum them again. I had a terrible time, and I used the save trick for each one. I also used the Galaga easter egg where the enemies don't shoot at you past the second level! Gotta do what you gotta do to get that shiny platinum!

Popular Post ladynadiad
20. THE LEGEND OF HEROES 英雄伝説 空の軌跡 SC Evolution (Legend of Heroes: Trails in the Sky SC Evolution) It was a rather fun platinum to earn overall except for two things. The enhanced Enforcer battles unique to this version were insanely hard and very luck dependent. And also never again want to deal with a get all treasure chests in a single playthrough trophy again (except I probably will since I plan to eventually import the evo version of the next game). It does require some knowledge of Japanese and/or access to the English version if not fluent to get the plot (which is where these games shine).
JoshC17
Platinum #75 - FIFA 16 (PS4) Football Legend Ultra Rare Oh man, drafts is damn annoying... Everything else was easy but doing drafts legit was pretty difficult. You need a mixture of good luck and tactics to get the trophy and quite a few coins as well. Using Ultra Attacking with High Pressure seemed to be the way for me with a formation I use all the time on FIFA 4-1-2-1-2 and sticking with BPL players. I had gold Okazaki upfront for Gods sake so forget about ratings. Chemistry, Tactics and Luck is all you need.

The trophy that gives me more trouble, as strange as it seens, it was poisoning a captain on his own feast, I don't know why, I always ended up screwing up. Anyways, fantastic game, I really hope it got a sequel soon.

Popular Post AJ_Radio
#46: Jak 3 (October 18th, 2016) Difficulty: 3/10 Excitement: 8/10 The Jak and Daxter trilogy ends with Jak 3, and it may very well be my personal favorite. One year passes since the ending to Jak II. Jak finds himself banished to the wasteland by a man named Veger. He is then joined by Daxter and Pecker. They collapse and a tribe of outcasts led by King Damas rescues them. They awaken in Spargus and the adventure begins. This is everything Jak II was, only better. The game world is much bigger this time around and much more forgiving in it's layout. No longer did I have to bend and turn every corner and crash into a Krimson guard. The Wasteland is the selling point of Jak 3, with dune buggies as transportation to fight off bandits and reach the next mission. A portion of the game takes the player back to Haven City which has been attacked by Metal Heads and Errol, the primary antagonist. It was much easier to navigate through the city than before, due to the lack of Krimson guards along with less civilians to run into. Gameplay has substantially improved the weapons. There are now twelve different weapons. The Blaster has a mod that shoots lasers that bounce off walls and enemies. The Peace Maker has a mod that eliminates all enemies within it's radius, but consumes a good chunk of ammo. These weapons along with armor pieces Jak collects throughout the game made for a much easier experience playing through the missions. Light Jak makes an appearance in this game. Whereas Dark Jak focuses on destructive power, Light Jak is more defensive in nature, often useful in areas with tougher enemies. I enjoyed the story, but felt the last bit of it wasn't as good. The precursors themselves were a disappointment. For a minute I thought I was playing a Ratchet and Clank game, but then realized I was still playing the Jak and Daxter trilogy. That put aside, Jak 3 is a solid game. It's a real shame the franchise is currently dead, we could of had a lot more games to continue the adventure. #47: Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (October 24th, 2016) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement: 9.5/10 This marks the fifth Naughty Dog game I've platinumed, and it is by far my favorite. Dangling from a falling train in the snowy mountains sets the tone for the rest of the game, and it doesn't let go. There is so much to be said about Uncharted 2, so many people have praised this game so I'll spare the long winded response and keep this brief. Pure gaming flow. There is never a dull moment in the entire game. The moments of tension and feelings for the characters were very well executed. The new characters bring Uncharted 2 to life with their charm and antics. Several locations to fight in, whereas Uncharted 1 takes place entirely in one general location Uncharted 2 takes you from the city ruins to the snowy peaks to Shambala itself. The graphics are excellent and it was literally amazing Naughty Dog was able to make the characters and the background details look so good back in 2009. Seven years later and this game is still pretty to look at. Difficulty wise it is slightly easier than Uncharted 1, but completely manageable. This game isn't difficult. A must play title.
