Didn't even realize this had been re-released until I chanced upon it in the store. I'd never played the full game before, just a demo. I'd played most of the games after this though, so I spent the first while trying to remember I can't do half the shit from more recent games in this version, I lost many a good combo to that 

 

It was good fun though, I've never been great at the Tony Hawk games so there were a few occasions where I needed to invest time in practising (and getting insanely lucky helped). The online trophy took a while to get because the servers are dead and there wasn't much interest in a boosting session I arranged, so if anyone does need a boost give me a shout.

GOD OF WAR: GHOST OF SPARTA

 

The Ghost With the Most

Another platinum trophy on my HD account. After a 3 week hiatus on that account, I came back in full force, and marathon'd the plat, in just 7 hours. What's great about Ghost of Sparta is that the Challenge of the Gods are WAYYY easier than compared to the other GoW games. That said,

 

Enjoyment - 8/10

Difficulty - 3/10

 

Some parts are very annoying, but with enough patience, you can overcome them all, or just spam the whirlwind move a thousand times.

& that was the last R&C game in my backlog, glad I have those on this account now. I was thinking about getting the collection just so I can get the trophies for the first 3 too (even though I still have my PS2 copies).

 

Difficulty: 3/10 (& that's only if you start out on the hard difficulty)

Enjoyment: 7.5/10 (only complaint really is that this one is way too short)

Time Played: Unknown, I couldn't see if this game tracked it or not... (done in 1 day, 10 hours though)

#114 - LEGO Ninjago: Shadow of Ronin on PSVita (49th plat of 2016) - 62.91% COMMON

It's the typical cut down Lego game that we get on the PSVita and I found it enjoyable.  Nice easy relaxing platinum and shorter than some of the other Lego PSVita games.  If you like the Lego games then this one won't disappoint.

Overall 6/10 enjoyment with a 2/10 for difficultly

I was waiting a long time for this game and World of Final Fantasy... they came out around the same time but I just couldn't put this game down.

I really hope they come out with a Dragon Quest Builders 2.

Awful story IMO and was a real snooze fest.  Maybe I'm just not the age profile for the story.  Anyhow, by the time I was three quarters of the way through heart world story I started skipping. Gave each story world a try but just could not get into it at all and skipped to get it finished in the end.  Glad I got this for free as I would have been very disappointed if I'd spent money on it.

 

Overall 1/10 enjoyment with a 3/10 for difficultly

as far as this game goes it wont be pure 100%. might miss out on 4 of the dlc trophy's but will continue logging in until i hit lvl 70 and get the monthly trophy. not good at drifting and the prestige events are insane.

This is over. Ultimate Battler is surely one of the hardest things I've ever done in a video game, and The Hero We Deserve is just an insane grind. (If you need help with that, check my guide on a very doable exploit.) I sure hope Injustice 2 doesn't have bullshit grindy trophies like this one, but knowing NetherRealms I'm sure they'll think of something. The other trophies are reasonable enough, and even World's Finest is nothing compared to the real challenge of Battle Mode. Very nice to have a 0.10% Ultra Rate platinum, though. And trust me, this rarity makes perfect sense considering the amount of dedication it takes.

I never played any of these until a few months back and I frickin' love them. I think this one has been my favourite so far.....Kratos is a bad muthafffff! Like the others, this one was pretty easy, although I did have to replay most of the boss battles a few times on Titan Mode, and the challenges were by far the easiest ones yet....thank feck....some of the previous challenges were just downright evil!

 

I was gonna start Watch Dogs 2 last weekend but with bits of it not working properly.....I thought I'd give Ubisoft a few more days to sort it out by playing this.

 

Just got Ghost of Sparta and Ascension to play at some point (soon) and then I'm all caught up. I'm sure it's been said before but I'd love to see a movie made out of this series....think it has great potential.

One of the best World War I game l have played. I loved its campaing and mp was no less fun! As a Turkish guy l can criticize that last story could be better. I know Turkish history and l am sure as hell Ottoman did not have any superior-over modernized weapons as game claims. On Gallipolli we had some kick ass machine guns from Germans but that is not the story. Overall it is a fantastic game but l still would love to tell this. FUCK YOU AIRBORNE CHALLENGE!!

*sigh* And it's over and done with.

 

I initially played this first to judge for myself how good a sequel it was to Tales of Symphonia. And, yeah, I'm with the majority who say that this was at best a major disappointment.

 

Copying what I said from my profile feed, I'm surprised Emil and to a lesser extent Marta caught the flak they did. I mean, the problems people have with them are problems nearly every character in the game has. Subpar voice acting, cliched development (if any at all), and the constant CONSTANT apologizing for any slight inconvenience.

 

I also read that the Tales series has a habit of taking cliches and subverting them. I remember some of Symphonia's subversions, and while they weren't mindblowing, still did a good job of keeping me interested til the end. Here, moments intended as a subversion is ruined by either A) being replaced with ANOTHER cliche or the way the writing goes out of its way to avoid any tension amongst the characters. 

 

In terms of the platinum difficulty, all I can say is, as long as you have a guide handy, the only real hump you have to overcome is your first playthrough, when you level up slowly, and you are still getting a feel for everything.

 

Maybe someday I will go back to the first Symphonia to see if it holds up, but for the moment, like with KH, I'm more than to take a nice long break first.

First of all a big shoutout to Danny_Johansen as he posted in the game's subforum that there was a bugged daily challenge on one day that granted you an effortless Diamond Cup. Without this, I would never have regained the motivation to play the online mode of this game again. Initially I played this game directly after launch but lost motivation due to the buggy online servers at that time.

The base game is overall quite fun even though I didn't enjoy it as much as Rayman Origins but the online challenges are just stupid bullshit. Playing those daily challenges for about 5 months (due to the really low player base on Vita with an average of about 350 players) wasn't fun at all. And adding a Vita-specific trophy which requires you to be in the top 1% of the people who played a challenge to earn a fuckin' Diamond Cup is just stupid on the Vita when there are people who are in the top spots for over a year. :\

Oh and fuck you Murphy levels. It's nice to see that some of you are bugged in the daily challenges but playing you normally isn't fun at all. Why didn't give the developers us the option to play those levels like on the normal consoles?

I guess this will be my slowest plat for some time now with a time of: Platinum 3 years, 2 months, 1 week. Now I wish there would be a milestone for slowest plat.

It was interesting to see the game go a more action route and it was okay. Not deep in the story as it's mainly 2 new characters writing an article on the main cast and you do quest after quest which almost always has you killing everything until they stop spawning. Every now and then you have to do unique things but it doesn't happen often. It's quite repetitive but if you like Dynasty Warriors, you'll like this game. The worst thing was grinding the lily ranks with everyone.

A easy Platinum to get. This game has a great art design and nice soundtrack and the puzzles are fine. By collecting the collectibles (which are trophies) you discover more about the story behind Teslagrad, giving more charms to the game. Despite the easy Platinum, this is a good game.

Interesting game about a group of teens who go to a decommissioned island to party, they ultimately enter a weird cave and open a rift resulting in a supernatural mystery. Very easy plat and quite an enjoyable game.
