I'm Honored to have Dishonored as my first Platinum of the year 2017.

A great game, I followed the trophy guide with my first playthrough focusing on all the kill related trophies. By the end of the first run I felt that it's too easy for me so I purposely void the non-upgrade trophy for the second playthrough. Had a blast with the 2nd run sneaking around on Very Hard with no kill, no alert, no upgrade.

 #62 - Rocket League

This game was so much fun and it's my first platinum of 2017! I was put-off from buying this since I missed it on PS+ and I'm usually awful at any type of game that requires driving but I found Rocket League a lot easier than I thought it would be. I really enjoyed playing online with friends and against the A.I. too and I ended up becoming addicted. It's definitely one I'm going to continue playing, especially if the updates keep coming!

2nd Platinum I've got this year already?!? Phew, I'm on fire!

 

Without a guide this game would've been impossible to me because I'm stupid idiot, but with a guide I took it as a movie experience and like that I enjoyed it quite much. This games sense of humor really hit me and I had many good laughs while playing (which took me a bit under 3 hours). Never would've bought this with real money, but thanks to PS+ it was "free". That's why I personally like PS+, I get to play games that I would otherwise never play. It's nice.

A nice and quick platinum as PS + game this month. I have heard many good things about Day of the Tentacle, especially with regard to humor, and I'd say it definitely had its moments (Game One, a German gaming show on MTV, would often praise the game for its uniqueness). For some trophies, I had to enlist a guide as they were not that obvious. Other than that, nice game.

 

Reminds me that I still need to finish Broken Age. I had to quit FFXV as I want it to be plat #50 on my list. AC IV, Broken Age and Deus Ex: Mankind divided, you'll be next

This was typical Telltales game, nothing much has changed in terms of gameplay and visual aspect.

Story was kinda interesting and entertaining, but most of the conversations were plain boring.

Not that i'm disappointed too much, but I was expecting more.

Judging by the end, we can expect season 2, with hopefully more interesting story.

 

Difficulty -/10

#104 - Stories: The Path of Destinies

This game was free on plus last month, and i really didn't know what to expect.

And i was pleasantly surprised by it at first. Story was interesting, and combat system was good.

But of course, game got repetitive very fast.

I mean, come on, 25 endings?! I don't mind doing long grinds and doing different endings couple of times, but this was just too much.

On the bright side, it was very easy (but grindy) platinum.

 

Difficulty 2/10

I planned this to be my 40th platinum i really wanted the milestone on my profile to be so, after 10 years of waiting on this game to come out i am really happy with the final product granted there were a few things that annoyed me (mashing one button to attack or use other buttons to chain combos missed opportunity right there.) Although all in all very enjoyable RPG.

Difficulty: 4/10 (Lots of bugs)

 

This game is not even close to the main tittles of the franchise. The story is almost a f*cking 0! We have a boss to defeat only, all the other missions are just normal activities... I mean... Cmon... I know that our objective is only to frustrate Satan but even though they could/should have added more "true" missions.

 

Hum... the game itself have lots of glitches/bugs whatever... I got inside a building through the wall and couldn't exit, or today I got stuck in a wall while super jumping and only the legs were out, actually was pretty funny ahah
 Like some jokes and epic guns that the game may have, as well as awesome superpowers... that's what saves this game at the least for me, I will not even talk about the amount of times that the game crashed... is insane.

 

The trophies are simple, you have that stupid amount of challenges like always and one or another random trophy that can be more tricky but nothing impossible, even though the game glitched the trophy related to upgrade superpowers... I got mad! I needed to collect all the 900+ again... f*ck my life Volition... fix your games!

 #151: Kingdom Hearts II Final Mix

This is also a game that I've played dozens of times before on the PS2, so this time around I started immediately on Critical Mode. The start of the game was the hardest part, because Sora was underleveled most of the time and he didn't have that many abilities yet. Luckily, Critical Mode gives some starting abilities and increases damage inflicted with 25%. Of these abilities the 2 Lucky, Lucky are the most useful ones. Those increase the drop rate of items and synthesis materials. Having no means to dodge until getting the Wisdom Form to lvl 3 was certainly a great handicap (that form is acquired roughly 25% into the the story). I was thrilled to fight the new boss in The World That Never Was and went in completely blind .... and got destroyed the first two times  . During the third time I started getting familiar to the patterns and during the fourth try there was a QTE, beating it gave sora control over three keyblades, which completely destroyed the boss. Xaldin was still the hardest boss in the story and Saïx seemed to be nerfed down a bit.

 

After getting Limit Form, the game becomes so much easier. That form has an ability that heals Sora when using a limit and Sonic Blade grants lots of invincibility and can stagger enemies + bosses easily. The exception are the 15 OP post-game bosses (Sephiroth, Lingering Will and the Organization XIII data fights). These required lots of trial and error to get familiar with the new attack patterns. Out of the data battles, Xaldin was still the hardest one (yay for consistency  ). I'm also glad to never have to do Mushroom 8 and 10 again. The puzzles are a nice addition: they reward good items and you also get great artwork.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Remastered - #31

 

 Just another day at the office

 

My first platinum for 2017! This game was originally released in 2007 on the PS3 and Xbox 360. I didn't play the original version of the game, so this was my first time playing it. I played through the game twice, one play through on regular and one play through on veteran. I found the game enjoyable, with the amazing environments, story and levels. The veteran difficulty for the most part wasn't to challenging. When it came around to the Mile High Club on veteran however I was in a bit of a rough patch. It took me around two hours to pass this level, with one such attempt leading me to accidentally shooting the hostage . It's a great game overall but it would be better if you could buy it standalone.

I think I enjoyed this even more than the original Steins;Gate. My biggest complaint is that I would have liked to see Operation Altair play through after the final credits. Hopefully their choice not to show it means that there's going to be another Steins;Gate entry in the Science;Adventure series.

 

Also it's my first plat of the year. Now that I've cleared it, it's time to get serious for Dragon's New Year event.

Wore on me a bit due to 4 main game and borderline 5 dlc playthrough requirement(1 less on each if you arent a scrub like me that wants things as easy as possible). But its fun enough on its own and i like the new Dante well enough. Easy enough plat due to infinite checkpoints that respawn you at full health for the higher difficulties though that was only really necessary during the dlc for me as Vergil is far behind Dante in use.

The Red Thread

 

Finally joined the 2017 plat party doods and what better way than to paint the town red!....or I guess cover it with red thread...Anyways this game wasn't as good as I thought it would be but it was still a decent experience that I enjoyed. Yarny was somehow a pretty charming character even though he doesn't speak and the way the story was told was pretty cool using different pictures throughout the level to tell the story rather than cutscenes and narration. The game was pretty short but that wasn;t much of an issue for me since i only paid $5 for it from the last holiday sale. Plat itself is pretty easy with the only challenge presented being the trophy for beating each level without dying which isn't that bad. Even though it wasn't as good as i hoped I still enjoyed it and would recommend the game, i would just recommend getting it on sale as i didn't feel it would have been worth full price doods
