lsroom__
#55: Helldivers The epitome of Super Earth 2.05% (Ultra Rare) This was an unexpected Platinum for me. I started playing the game with the intention to just have fun because I thought that the trophies would be super hard to achieve since this was meant to be a multiplayer game, and I wasn't a big fan of playing online. But after a few days of playing it with my brother (offline) and earning easy trophies here and there, I began to realise that the prospect of getting the Platinum was becoming more possible by the day. Because I was enjoying the game so much, I continued playing it every day and started chipping at the trophies one by one until it came to a point where I knew the Platinum was within reach. That was when I made the commitment to platinum the game, and that I did! The only frustrating trophy in the game I would say would be the one where you need to grind 100k kills. By the time I got to Level 25 (a trophy requirement), I was only at 42k kills. The forums did have players talk about rubber banding their controllers, but I didn't want to 'cheat' per se. I wanted to get this trophy legit, and so I grinded kills non-stop for about 7-8 days till I reached the 100k kill count. The satisfaction was worth all the time spent. Overall it's a great game to play, whether with random players or with a dedicated group of friends - I highly recommend it. It's my rarest Platinum trophy after Grand Theft Auto V, and I am really proud of it. Now I am only left with some of the DLC trophies to 100% it, which I should be able to knock off in the next couple of days. Popular Post Zanreo
9: Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls Superdimension Neptune VS Sega Hard Girls (yep, just the same name as the game) Fun game with a few annoying trophies, but other than that I liked it! Love Sega Hard Girls and was fun to see them in this crossover Most annoying trophy must have been the "get all baseballs" one (I like collectibles but why no in-game tracking of them by dungeon?) plus lily grinding. Also... it feels kinda weird when a level collectible trophy is more annoying and hard than the one for beating the superhard postgame optional boss... which has something to do with the collectibles location not being listed in-game and me forgetting which ones I had gotten, and the fights having a possible trick/exploit that makes one attack extremely OP and can take down even the hardest boss in max 2 attacks Also, this is the first game I've seen where (ending spoilers just in case? Not plot-related, more about winning conditions) Spoiler you can't get the "bad end" on your first run (well, not without an extreme ridiculous amount of grinding) but can easily get the True End without even trying Worth a try for my fellow moe trash who likes either of the series, or game-related parodies and personifications Edited January 6, 2017 by Zanreo
SirDave1988
# 65 - God Of War (PS Vita) Trophy of Zeus Unlock all God of War® Trophies My first plat of 2017 and boy is this one a doozy! The rarity of this one really doesn't do it justice of how gosh darn difficult this is, especially on the Vita. That Challenge 10 of Challenge of The Gods is one of the most frustrating tasks I have ever had to complete in my 20+ year gaming history. Apart from that, the game is still great to play and holds up very well on the Vita in my opinion. Great way to start off 2017 on the trophy front haha! Looking to get as close to 100 plats this year as I can!

Popular Post sebacarcamo
#24: The Wolf Among Us (PSVita) Full Moon First Vita platinum!!! (Although I would prefer the following to be the first). I had bought it along with Gravity Rush several months before having a Vita, because they were very cheap (almost 6 dollars in Chilean currency, the two physical and new) and I planned to get a Vita in that time and wanted to have games for when I had it. Talking about the game, it has a good story and music besides charismatic characters, but when playing it in Vita, there were parts that the framerate issues ruined a lot, but at least I felt that there were not many (I hope...). I could say that I one another season but for me the game ended well in what was left (I would prefer one of "Tales from the borderlands" before ) I decided to play this before GR because I started it already this game and I didn't want to struggle in the game when I was traveling in a car for hours, and talking about GR... #25: Gravity Rush(PSVita) It´s all Relative First Platinum of the year!!! After not listening to anyone I decided to start this instead of Persona 4 and Danganronpa (lucky that I did it because Persona has consumed almost all my time in the trip). I wanted to leave this platinum for 00:01 but when I go to see the fireworks with the family and try to find the mysterious couple without a guide because I didn't have internet, i got it almost 2 hours later, but I got it and that's the important thing. Is a good game and I really liked the concept of how to use gravity, although its combat system gave me several problems to have so few movements and because it was difficult to get used to it, but once I achieved that goal the game was very easy. Also, I liked the way the story was told, like a comic or manga. I hope its sequel is even better than this game and I want to see how it will be after moving on to PS4. I only have one problem. Why are dlc not available in Latin America ? Sony why are you doing this? I hope you realize now that you are going to release the sequel and put them in the store. Now I have to go back and finish Persona 4, and that's going to take a long time...

Popular Post Hertz
Ohhh yeah my first plat in 2017..... Took me a week lol Platinum #37 It's all Relative Collected every trophy. Congratulations! Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Spoiler At first I don't know what I was getting, boy was I am for surprise. This game was amazing even though I suck at the controls lol. Flying around, killing those Navis.... Even though I'm still confused on where they came from . The only thing that annoyed me is when I'm floating and I move forward, even the smallest objects if I hit it I land on it. Which made some challenges being restarted again. About those challenges, I thought you have to finish them before ending the game lol. They're pretty easy, it's just that what I mentioned above that's annoying. About the story, I dunno in God's Gade's name how Kat got to Heksville. Maybe from Gade or Cyanea or where did Dusty come from. All I know is Raven best girl Spoiler Joke, I'm kinda 50/50 if Kat is the Queen in Cyanea's dream or if she came from the city above the sky like what I read while advancing in the story. I wanted to play as Raven though but I guess we can't Well the sequel is coming out with Raven as playable If you want a quick and easy plat, here's another game for you guys EDIT: Forgot to mention, but what the hell is there language??? First plat of 2017! My first time into the series and it started out pretty mundane and boring but decided to carry on and boy did I enjoy myself. Quite an easy - average platinum but the levelling up of weapons was the hardest trophy for me as I did not diversify my choice of weapons to use. Interesting concept with the weapons and clank integration plus there were really funny moments. Definitely coming back to this series, old or new. "Ever smell a Telepathopus brain? You could follow the actual thread =D As you could see from my log, I did 5 characters within 5 hours and that's including breaks for Gallery events =D So, it should be 30-45 minutes from 4 to MAX, but since the patch raises amount of affection obtained through fighting, you may be starting the grind on level 5 or late 4. And seriously, that is NOT important question at all =D You won't be grinding affection, you will be doing it to take a break from REAL grind 1 hour ago, Ken Kaneki said: EDIT: Forgot to mention, but what the hell is there language??? Popular Post B1rvine
First platinum of 2017! The Whole World Went Away from Dead Island An interesting survival game. It's kind of cheesy like Borderlands with silly missions. I mean, its the middle of a zombie apocalypse and some crazy chick in a bikini gives you a mission to find her teddy bear. Lol! Anyway, it was fun and not too much of a grind. Playing coop with others was fun too. Nothing special, but overall I'd recommend it just because of how bizarre it is. Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 126 - THE LAST GUARDIAN Date of achievement : January,7 2017 Enjoyment : 9,0 Difficult : 6,0 Hardest Trophy: All Talked Out/Lightning Emissary The Last Guardian is the latest creation from Fumito Ueda, also know as the creator and father of ICO and Shadow Of the Colossus. The game tells the story of a mysterious encounter between a boy and a creature named Trico. As the game starts we are introduced to both those characters, at first glance we see, the boy stranded from home with his body fully marked with strange symbols, and the creature chained right next to him. As he tries to understand what happened, the now waken creature starts to struggle looking for a way out from his predicaments. Now fully aware of his surroundings and seeing this dream like situation is indeed real, he starts to look for a way out. From this very moment on, we are introduced to a elderly voice that narrates all of their story. Leading to the events that will take us into this heartwarming experience. The Last Guardian is a puzzle adventure game similar to ICO, so if you played this game, you will feel right at home in this game. The good news however, is that Trico isn't as dumb or dead weight like Yorda was. Even trough, be prepared to pull some hairs out of you head because apparently, Ueda likes to test our patience. As far as gameplay goes, they indeed look like a PS2 game turned to a beautiful PS4 game, the game looks beautiful and the settings and characters are all incredible, but the camera and actual controls are a pain sometimes. So in the end, the game really delivers a great story and excellent new ways of feeling attached to the characters, I won't say this game is for everybody because it isn't, but if you are one of those that loved ICO and Shadow of Colossus or are willing to broaden your horizons, give this game a go, is indeed beautifully written and will touch your heart. Popular Post FilmFanatic
#128 - Tropico 5 8th January 2017 3.17% Tropico 5 Platinum trophy Collect all other Tropico 5 trophies Back in the day I used to spend hours on the computer playing Sim City 2000. Tropico 5 is essentially Sim City on a massive dose of steroids and I absolutely loved it. Tropico 5 is not an easy game to begin with. I started off playing the tutorial which is divided into 3 parts however I failed the third part and failing this means you not only have to redo all 3 parts again but you also don't get the trophy for completing the tutorial. The tutorial itself is not overly useful other than giving you a basic idea of the controls, where vital information is and a bare bones look at starting a successful city. After the tutorial I started on the 14 mission campaign and this is where things get harder. I had to restart the campaign multiple times as when I got to the third mission one of two things happened. The first few times I hadn't built a sufficient economy to be able to make money (which is the vital key to winning) and the next few times because my city plan wasn't organised well enough. Pretty much everything I learned about building a strong economy and planning a city came from trial and error as opposed to the games tutorial. However once you learn these 2 things the game is easier and incredibly fun. There's also sandbox games which allow you to choose what sort of island you want to play on, what era you start in and how much money you start with (always go with unlimited ) and this is where you earn the bulk of the trophies in the game.
