Popular Post Aurvandils_ta
Platinum # 4 Nitroplus Blasterz: Heroine's Infinite Duel Infinite Blasterz Enjoyment: 4/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I like Fighting Games very much. At this Day my Favorite is Dead or Alive 5, that´s a 10/10, and I compare every Fighting Game with it. I also like Animes. So actually Nitroplus Blasterz should match for me. But unfortunately it doesn´t. Two Reasons for it. First it´s to short! The Modes, Characters, Stages, Move-Set...actually of everything. The Second Thing it´s to easy. For a Single-Player there´s no Challenge. Why should anyone buy this Game? The Visual Novel-Lady´s are Fighting against each other. That´s cool and looks pretty. And just the easy Platinum. I´ve deleted it after getting the Platinum. There is no Chance that I play it again. Only the pretty Lady´s remain in Remembrance.

Popular Post X_Wizi_X
#50 Max Payne 3 (+ 100%) Enjoyment: 9/10 Difficulty: 9/10 Here we are. As you know the hardest trophy in this game is the New York Minute Hardcore. It took me 3 days of Youtube videos and then 10 days of "try-fail", trying to memorize enemies spawning points on every checkpoints. After that I did 4 attempts: 1) game glitched on me on Football Stadium Chapter (Max spawned on his back after a cutscene with all enemies behind...); 2) I ran out of time during chapter 13 (sigh); 3) a molotov spawned from nowhere killed me during Favels Chapter; 4) I survived miraculously during the final battle inside the airport hangar (f**k YES) After NYMHC trophy I had to take a long break before continuing to play Old School, Hardcore, Level 40 and Lev 50. But it was worth it.
Popular Post Komrade_Konrad
#32 - Titan Souls Enjoyment: 8/10 Difficulty: 7/10 I had a lot of fun with this game. As a fan of pixel art and Shadow of the Colossus, this game was right up my alley. Effectively every boss is a puzzle either for figuring out where the weakspot is or figuring out the pattern or setup to expose that weakspot. Most of the gameplay comes from trial and error to figure out these patterns, but once you get a feel for it, most bosses can be killed in under 15 seconds. One gripe is that after a death (which can come very quickly), you have to run back to the boss room, so it can feel like there is a lot of down time without gameplay. On the one hand, this is frustrating, but on the other it can give you a moment to think about strategy before jumping back in instead of allowing you to brute force it quite as easily. The mechanics and controls feel very tight, killing bosses feels very satisfying, and the artwork is gorgeous, so I find it easy to recommend this game. I never intended to platinum it, but it turned out to be pretty addictive so I burned right through it. The game is hard, but it looks worse than it actually is since you can save scum the No Death trophies using the cloud or USB (which I did without shame). If you want to get all the trophies legit, I'd probably rank the difficulty up at about 8 or 9 out of 10 instead.
Popular Post Terra
#43 - Virtue's Last Reward Difficulty: 2/10 Enjoyment: 10/10 I really had no clue what to expect of this game. I thought the majority of the game would be based on the puzzles but it felt more like an interactive VN then the latter. However, the story is what makes this game. The flow chart and different storylines based on the choices that I had to make created a different version of "what could have happened" but it still tied back to the main plot. The English voice acting for the game is wonderful. I'd especially like to congratulate the people who did the voices for Alice, Phi, Luna, Dio, Quark, and so forth. What really drew me in was that the characters in the game knew exactly what i was doing to them. It made me feel guilty when I went behind their backs! I don't think that's happened to me in a video game in a long time. I missed out on the first game but I got the third installment of the series for Christmas to play and if that is anything like this one, I can hardly wait to dive right in!

Popular Post PooPooBlast
#53- Tomb Raider Definitive Edition. Loved the SP but the MP is pure @#$##. 9 hrs lugging med kits back and forth like an idiot for one freakin trophy. The crap we do for trophies... I calculated it and I dragged 1160 med kits.. Yayy.. Also I think Lara broke Nate's record in destroying valuable artifacts.. She broke everything she stepped on. I really enjoyed the SP only to be confronted by MP. At least im done with this and probably the last time I'll do something stupid like this. May seem not bad compared to other games but it's bad enough for me.

Popular Post AJ_Radio
#57: Crysis (January 5th, 2017) Difficulty: 4/10 Excitement: 8/10 My first platinum in a first person shooter since the end of 2015. Crysis is a former PC exclusive game from 2007 where you play as Nomad, a lieutenant wearing nanosuit, a very advanced piece of armor that can cloak and take heavy fire through it's enhanced abilities. You are part of an American special forces operation tasked with taking down North Korean hostiles, and later the Ceph, an advanced alien species with extreme power and domination. The story is moving and touching, which I don't often say for first person shooters since they tend to lack good writing. Controls are pretty standard. L1 is to aim and R1 is to shoot. L2 gives you maximum armor and R2 gives you the cloaking ability. Graphics hold up fairly well which is a bit surprising since Crysis is technically 10 years old at this point. Originally the game required very high specs on PC desktops when it was initially released, and it shows with the amount of detail in the background, particularly when you're on the island. Today the graphics are fairly dated, not looking quite as good as more modern shooters like DOOM 2016 or Wolfenstein The New Order. Still, for a PSN only title for the Playstation 3, they're quite alright. The beginning portions of Crysis are fairly standard for what you may expect from a Call of Duty single player campaign. An enemy is terrorizing the area and it's up to you to stop him. Interestingly enough on Delta difficulty the enemies actually speak Korean, which is a pretty nice touch. On lower difficulties they speak English but the accent is still noticeable. Enemies aren't completely stupid, they hide behind cover, throw grenades, and strafe so you can't get a simple headshot. They are completely doable, and with the exception of a few enemy nanosuit soldiers, they are fairly easy to deal with. The sounds are very good, particularly the gun shots. The sniper rifle is loud and fierce, as noise travels down the area to reach a North Korean camp of soldiers. The silencer works as it should, taking care of enemies without others noticing. Go in Rambo style and a dozen soldiers swarm in on you. All of the sounds were very well done, from the voice acting and guns firing to the aliens themselves. You even get to control jeeps and tanks, which make for a fun experience as you level shacks with soldiers to the ground. The latter half of the game really spiked my interest for Crysis. A North Korean general is uncovering a real threat, and pretty soon the story shifts to another angle. Instead of Koreans you are now fighting aliens, which makes for a more interesting turn of events. The most enjoyable part of the game for me was exploring the alien structure. You are by yourself, traveling through tubes of light into a bigger area that has technology far exceeding our own. Then you find yourself on a mountain, biting the fierce cold as aliens start to attack any would be intruders, including you. Crysis is easy for fellow veterans of first person shooters. I struggled in a few areas mostly in the early game. The cloaking ability was a huge life saver, and it's highly recommended to use it often as you can bypass entire groups of soldiers. By the late game the cloaking ability wasn't much help but by then the gears shifted. A new menace makes for a new strategy, and I like what the developers did with the aliens. The game is short. The campaign takes around five to ten hours depending on how good a player you are. Some of the trophies I obtained were through clean up. I enjoyed Crysis from beginning to end, but it has a $19.99 price tag which is a bit too expensive in my opinion. Still, if you want an easy first person shooter game, I highly recommend Crysis.
Popular Post MesopithecusUK
#29. Day of the Tentacle Remastered Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 7/10 I was pretty pleased that we got this as part of the PS+ lineup as it had been a game I'd considered purchasing for some time. I think I was apprehensive as I didn't really enjoy Grim Fandango that much, but this was pretty enjoyable Another tick off my list of point and click games I want to play
Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#155 - Monster Monpiece The grind is finally over. What started out as an interesting card game turned quickly into a repetitive chore. Most of the game is fairly smooth sailing even with fairly average cards. Only during the boss fights you might have to refine your deck. The rub mechanic while interesting as a way to "evolve" your cards gets really tiresome, especially when there's no need for evolved cards until the very last area of the game. Speaking of areas, this was another game that dragged on too long for it's own good. You'll have to beat it basically twice, with the 2nd time being more difficult than the previous one and then there'll be a final area which can be a real pain at times. In conclusion, it's a decent card game. Considering there's a lack of those on consoles in general, it might be worth trying out for those who enjoy them. Popular Post monkeydluffy512
#200 I Will Be Pirate King One Piece: Unlimited World Red As a One Piece fan I had to have a Milestone from one of these games. This game was a delightful change of pace from the Pirate Warriors games. The story was enjoyable and the game play was fun. Going for the Plat was easy, but a grind which is expected of a jrpg. Now that I'm done I'm happy that this beautiful trophy is #1 of 2017 and #200 overall.
Popular Post Wdjat Prinny Doods
#146-Stories: The Path of Destinies Gray fox is my pupYou have explored the Path of Destinies. Usually my one and only contender for worst plat of the year comes in the summer, we are entering only the 2nd week of the year and I may have already earned the worst one of the year. the game itself is ok with some fun narration but with a poor man's Batman Arkham combat. The main reasons this is a serious contender for worst plat of the year is the terrible grind to get all 25 endings and maxing out the skill tree. Now each route takes only about 30-50 minutes so with that it doesn't sound as bad as you would think until you actually go for those endings and realize it is as a bad or worse than you think. After a few playthroughs the game will already feel extremely repetitve as you will have already seen just about every enemy the game has to offer as even with all those routes there is a serious lack in enemy variety to at least keep things fresh. Also you can get the true ending in 5 playthroughs so having to playthrough 20+ more times for the other endings is pointless because basically outside of the true ending everything else is basically some version of a bad ending. On top of that the story isn't even that great to even want to see the other endings other than getting the plat. Oh but the fun doesn't stop there as you have to level up to level 46 to max out the skill tree. this grind sucks too because really after level 15 there is no need to level up as you can get everything you need by that level (which you can get within a few playthroughs). As I said above this game lacks enemy variety so there isn't any reason to even need to the skill tree maxed out as the game is so easy even when new enemies come into play. also even after getting all 25 endings I still had to grind levels which was already pointless after just a few playthroughs let alone after 25+ playthroughs. Aside from the fun and quirky narration this was just a dreadful experience that I honestly can't recommend doods
Popular Post jaehyun1009
#76 - Virginia Difficulty 2/10 Score 6/10 I have no clue what happened in the story and playing through the game left me with more questions than answers (playing through 2nd time didn't clarify many things either) and some scenes were downright bizarre. I suppose it's just because I'm not a fan of vague allegorical storytelling, so maybe my score of 6/10 is unfair. idunno. Lack of scene transition was unintentionally hilarious at times; one scene happens and instantaneously you're in another place like you've just teleported. At least the platinum is really short and easy.

Hyperdevotion Noire (JP) Ended up taking me 57:40, which is roughly 4 hours more than the English plat took me. I've had this one looming over me ever since the game initially released in Japan back in mid-2014, so to have it done and over with is a massive relief for me. I ended up making this Plat #300 since I used the English plat for #200 and I figured why not keep up the pattern. I even did that one almost exactly a year ago, which is kind of freaky. >_> Now to do the Korean version for Plat #400 next year! Popular Post Cleggworth
#155 - Steins;Gate Sky Clad Observer When I first started Steins;Gate I thought my VN playing days were done. I just could not get into it at all and I resigned myself to limiting myself to finishing the Zero Escape series, which was proving to be the exception then calling it a day with the genre. I'm not a fan of the visual style at all. Men that look like women, the whole cat ears thing, unnecessary panty shots, massive boobs and a hell of a lot of inane babbling but given the universal praise the series gets I was fine with it provided the story was good. It started very slowly and it wasn't long before it was relegated to reading it whilst keeping half an eye on the TV as it just wasn't grabbing me. Eventually though it started dragging me in, most likely when 'Kyouma Hououin' took a back seat, and I could actually say I'm enjoying this. As a result I can see myself picking up Steins;Gate 0 if I see it on sale
Popular Post harsly
#74 - Hitman: Absolution Top of Your Game Difficulty: 2-3/10 Enjoment: 8/10 When I started the game, I was very impressed by the mechanics, as this was my first time playing any Hitman game (if you don't count Hitman GO lol). I didn't like the art style though, and the levels were nice and everything but I just couldn't get into the vibe of the game. That is until I got sucked into the story, I know it's nothing special but for some reason I found it very appealing. After I beat the game for the first time and started replaying the levels for trophies, I realised how much I actually liked it, the many many possibilities for assassinating each target, all the hidden weapons and tools and the fun ways of taking advantage of non-target NPC's to get closer to your target. Overall, the game wasn't amazing for me, but it was great, and I'm defo getting Hitman 2016 a few months after the complete edition comes out.

Thanks again to @crisding89 for the original honour upheld guide, @TheYuriG for the updated guide and @Hoagie324 for spending his day off helping 16 people get honour upheld. I wouldn't have this without you all. Overall, I enjoyed this game. It did a good job of demonstrating the vita's capabilities, even though some of the minigames could be a bit awkward to operate. Some of the gold spaceships were quite tricky, but once I had the motivation to get them after getting honour upheld, they proved to be surprisingly doable with practice. I'm not sure why I didn't pick this game up earlier. Gravity Rush turned out to be one of the best games I've ever played since I'm particularly into games that involves flying around and kicking ass. The combat wasn't that smooth, but it does feel satisfying killing enemies with gravity kick. The visuals were nice as well, but I have this love-hate relationship with the language. I don't really like it, but I do appraise the developers for making up a new language. Everyone definitely needs to try this game! Noble Achievement #78 InFAMOUS: First Light I've played the past InFAMOUS games apart from festival of blood and second son but to be honest I've grown bored of the InFAMOUS line up. First Light however, felt different and fresh compared to the past InFAMOUS games on PS3. The colours, visual wise, maneuvering and protagonist were different (definitely in love with the colours)! The Combat does feel ever more smooth and satisfying. Had tons of fun playing although I wished the campaign was longer and emphasised more on fetch's story(?)
