Popular Post Superbuu3
#155 South Park: The Stick of Truth South Park: The Stick of Truth Platinum Trophy Collect all South Park: The Stick of Truth Trophies This game is a lot of fun for fans of the series, you likely want a guide so you can platinum it in one playthrough though as a second playthrough is a bit too easy to be entertaining. I was really impressed at how fun this game was and it reminded me of costume quest but with a more complex battle system. Humour was done well to and a lot of little things in there for any hardcore fans to enjoy and get even more out of the game. Looking forward to the sequel and hope it lives up to this one.
Popular Post FarSideOfSaturn
#12 Sleeping Dogs Hong Kong Legend - Earn all the Sleeping Dogs trophies to unlock this platinum trophy Enjoyment - 9/10 Difficulty - 3/10 I was completely unaware of this games existence until two weeks ago, I'm so glad I chanced upon it. The story did feel like it was over too quickly but it's still well written and executed nonetheless and there's enough additional missions outside the story to keep you entertained for a while. The races in particular are great fun thanks to the stupid AI (RIP starting grid girl). The environment is a great representation of Hong Kong (according to my Chinese colleague at work, I'll take her word for it), I enjoyed the change from an American environment like in GTA. The combat system, both hand to hand and gunplay is extremely tight and a hell of a lot of fun. Soundtrack's great, There's some small technical issues like pop up, and distant objects kinda look like they're been spray painted in during an earthquake but it's only really noticable out at sea or on the drive between districts. The platinum was generally fun to get. Aside from the in game gold award for gambling winnings, any grinding you'll have to do is minimal and there's all sorts of tricks you can use to save time. It took me 32 hours but I was really taking my time and spent a lot of time exploring and messing around, I'd guess it's probably achievable in about 25 hours if you go straight for the platinum. Overall, a wonderful game and a pleasure to platinum.
Popular Post ladynadiad
#25 The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel II The Ashen Chevalier Mastered Trails of Cold Steel II and earned every trophy. Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment: 9/10 Like the first game, Cold Steel II was really awesome. It picks up about where the first game left off. It has a nice mix of furthering the stories of the cast of the first game, but also introducing some new folks into the mix, especially on the antagonist side. I had a blast and hope that when the third one comes out that we get a localization.
Popular Post Komrade_Konrad
#34 Adventure Time: Secret of the Nameless Kingdom Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 4/10 Picked this up for $1 a little while back and more or less enjoyed my time with it. It is an old-school Zelda style adventure game in just about every way except for the 3D backgrounds and that's both a good and bad thing. There are a number of points where you have no idea where you're supposed to go or what you're supposed to do. I spent a couple hours running around at the end of the game before checking a guide because I couldn't find the start of the item-trading quest which happens to be under a random patch of grass that I thought I had cleared out. The overall experience was good, with sparse, but good dialogue, and interesting environments, but there were a few other annoyances I had with the game like getting stuck on corners due to bad collision and missing enemies due to bad hit detection. The game also changes the rules on you as it goes along, for example, sometimes you can use Jake's power to cross gaps and others he just falls through because it isn't the intended way to solve a puzzle. In one dungeon, there's a ledge that jumping off of will act like a pit and hurt you despite no other ledges in the game acting like that. The puzzles were pretty fair. Nothing was too difficult, and some box pushing puzzles took too long, but there were some clever puzzles in there as well. Overall a quick and fun game if know that you're getting into a Zelda 1 type experience and can pick it up on sale. Popular Post Cleggworth
#156 - Day of the Tentacle Remastered OCD I must not be very good at these games as most of the time I had no idea what I was supposed to be doing. I tip my hat to anybody who plays this and works everything out themselves but I'd still be playing this next year if I hadn't resorted to using a full walkthrough. It shouldn't have been a surprise to me though as I felt the same way about Grim Fandango. I didn't find the story particularly engaging and I don't think I laughed once either whereas Grim Fandango had that going for it at least. It was a plus game and with a guide it is a quick plat, that's about the only endorsement I can give it
Popular Post Theladozz
Root Letter It's decent. Idk there are so many things in this game that could've been done so much better in my opinion. It's technicaally impressive that's for sure. The art and cg's are very pretty, the voice acting is good, the game mechanics are good, too bad the endings are either rushed or stupid as hell. The routes should've branched out way earlier than they actually do to have time to properly set up the endings, but instead the game is basically one long common route and then it ends in the blink of an eye. The story itself was quite interesting and I enjoyed reading it for the most part though I thought everything was always a bit too convenient which is probably because it's a fairly short vn. Well whatever I've read much better and much worse than this, so all in all if you don't like visual novels or aren't familiar with them, this won't be the one to convert you and if you do like the genre you'll want to get this just for the sake of having read all those few that are localised anyways.
Popular Post thegirlruka
93. World of Final Fantasy True Grymoirian Obtained every trophy. Difficulty 3/10Fun 8/10 Overall it was a fun game and the voice cast was awesome (japanese voices, obviously. I didn't last 5 minutes with the English one.) Whoever made the decision that minigames should give trophies should be fired... out of a cannon... into the sun. Oh, and Maduin being locked behind an RNG minigame was an even worse decision than that.

skateak
11 hours ago, Mar said: Spoiler By default game design, its a fact DS3 was still a horror game, and it clearly retained some horrific elements. A lot of horror games are never going to be as scary as they are if you're not using headphones nor playing at night, fyi. (Company also entirely ruin the immersion and tension.) And its definitely an exaggeration to say the overall game was action. The game just increased the action, it isnt what made up most of DS3. Youre still fighting non-humans most of the time, and I doubt you wasnt afraid to walk around the corner on a blind PT basis, because you dont know what to expect on your first PT. This game and Until Dawn the community exaggerate on not being scary. Little scary =/= not scary. DS3 wasnt as scary as the other games, we all know that, but to not call it scary at all as if it was The Last of Us (which is horrific and terrifying, but not scary) or any horror game that doesnt do its job well in the scare department, is just false. I could have remembered the game actually does have MM, otherwise how else do you join random's games (something I did to get those trophies/colls)..... I think he means that when you get to a part when you split up, there is no matchmaking at the specific part so you can get all the collectibles unless you started co-op before the chapter started. I think you can only matchmake at the very beginning of the chapter. Could be wrong though. I always loaded into co-op from the main menu with my brother. Humor is good fun, had me bawling.....nothing beats hand drawn animation with happy go lucky look. Wish it was a bit longer just how I felt with Majesty Spiffing. Worth a look when it goes on sale. Caldor2K2
#90 - Air Race Speed I picked this game up on a whim since it was cheap. A simple concept overall, fly your plane through each level as quick as possible while avoiding crashing. Some levels have alternate routes which could lead to slower or quicker lap times. It was not a difficult game, although a bit grindy for a couple of trophies. Completing 20 laps on an endless level was a bit tricky. The level is randomly set, and each new stage reached increases your speed and offers a new level setup.
Popular Post RedRodriguez87
100% Complete And here it is. My very first LittleBigPlanet platinum!!! A very cute game, though 3 games in, the platforming can still be iffy, not helped by the fact that the levels have so much going on you could lose site of your buddy in the heat of the moment. But still, even though it doesn't reach the wonder and awe the first game did, and while this release was less than stellar (there are still bugs and hiccups), games like the LBP series is something gaming needs to have constantly, be it a new installment or a spiritual successor. So yeah, here's looking forward to the next one, no matter who will be in charge, be it Media Molecule or Sumo.

Popular Post jaehyun1009
#77 - Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Scorched Savior Collect all other Saints Row: Gat out of Hell Trophies Difficulty 3/10 Score 8/10 Put this one off for a while because I couldn't even get close to unlocking the trophy for hitting 5 vehicles in a row without touching the ground. So after I got hit with the "where's my cape" glitch on SRIV and completing all the frauds with gold in that game I thought what the hell (pun not intended), lets give this a shot one more time. Got the trophy on my first attempt. Rest of the trophies are pretty easy, though the challenges were a grind. Thank fuck this game's version of "where's my cape" is not glitched otherwise I would've thrown my controller out of the window.

Popular Post Juzota
#58 - The Bunker Platinum TrophyAcquire all trophies The Bunker is already my 4th Platinum this year. What the fuck is going on?!? Same question I had in my mind while playing this. Or can I even say playing because this was more like a interactive movie. Very interesting premise for a game and I quite like the story, but I don't really see the point why this couldn't just be a movie. Cut all the gaming stuff away and you got pretty decent film. Well, I don't complain because this was pretty easy Platinum. It's easy to Plat this under 2 hours, but I didn't wanna use guide on my 1st playthrough so it took me bit longer. There was only one "hard" part in this game very near the end where you had to smash X-button like a freaking lunatic. I had to try that 3 times before I was able to nail that section. Kind of strange because rest of the game was really easy. Thanks to @dimavankula for the video guide. It was very helpful on my 2nd playthrough. It was really easy to miss stuff so if you want really easy and quick Plat, use the guide. Popular Post Eli_bloodthirst
So because I couldn't find out how this worked when we stwitched over, imma just post the 3 I got this last week. #36 - Dying Light This is one I didn't think I would get and the reason for this is because I was sharing a copy of it with my brother, well guess what we got this christmas? Difficulty: 4 - Most of these trophies were either accumulated during normal play or grinded easily with my brother once we had another copy, the only hard bit was the barely spawning Rais men Random encounter trophy. Enjoyment: 6 - I would put the enjoyment higher as I really enjoyed the core story of the game for the most part BUT I thought the mechanics for the parkour were just awful and that might have been due to the terrible tiny crosshair it had to work with, either too specific or not specific enough and it really punished that whole aspect of the game. It's a shame because even with that flaw I thought I'd have a pop at the DLC, well I got told the endings and I just decided the 5 minute ending honestly. #37 - Nubla Okay so I heard from someone that this game was short and worth the buy and that there'd be a platinum if you finish it, I went slow and the game was an hour, clearly trophy fodder right? Difficulty: 1/10 - Like I said, took an hour at trudging pace, had a tea break half way through and everything, no guide required it was really easy. Enjoyment: 7/10 - For what it is and what it is worth, I enjoyed it. If it was this for a 30 hour campaign, I'd give it a 1 or 2 for what it is and what it is worth, it's not that bad. #38 - Murdered: Soul Suspect Now this was a game I wanted to play for about 6 months, heard it did well but still made the dev team go bust and I also heard the game was short and enjoyable, so why not? Difficulty: 2/10 - Yeah other than it was hard to keep an eye on the salem collectibles, the rest of it was super duper easy Enjoyment: 9/10 - Now unlike Nubla, I could have this be double or even triple the length and I'd still enjoy the game. You could even slap me a sequel and I'd really go for it, I enjoyed the concept of being a ghost, the backstory to do with witchcraft (which I thoroughly enjoy) and the characters were pretty great, some gameplay aspects weren't the best but it was more passable imo than dying lights so I can't really complain. Well that's it for this weeks shenanigans I guess.

Popular Post FLaNJeY
#1 - Batman: Arkham Knight Rating: 9/10 Difficulty: 3/10 I'm a bit late to this forum though having earned a few Plats already. But I figured I'd still share them and my thoughts on each game, just for my own sake haha I genuinely feel like this game is underrated. It isn't as jaw-dropping as its predecessors, but it is a fitting conclusion and an improvement in almost all gameplay elements compared to the prior entries. The story is a bit too convoluted for me personally, but it takes you to some very interesting places and the writing is phenomenal in certain scenes - which is obviously bolstered by the stellar voice acting. Plus, the graphics are beautiful. I spent many a minute simply standing and watching the ocean, and the raindrops trickle down Bats' suit. Definitely one of the best looking games I've ever experienced. Loved driving the Batmobile, especially chasing random bad guys, though the Batmobile combat and puzzle-solving became extremely monotonous and unchallenging. And of course, many of the side missions were just far too repetitive and ultimately unnecessary. However, the Arkham series is and has been my favourite since I picked up Asylum. And City is, to this day, my favourite video game (though not the best in my opinion). So I felt like I was going to always love this game, despite its flaws - some of which carried through from the previous games anyway. The visuals, writing, score, acting, smooth gameplay totally trump the few negatives of what truly is the ultimate Batman experience. I have to thank Rocksteady for this franchise; it has offered me hours of enjoyment and I sincerely hope they make another installment in the DC Universe as their next IP (Green Arrow. Please.) Popular Post xMissFantasy
114 Platinum Trophy Unlock all trophies Eighth platinum this year so far My second time getting the platinum for this game but first for playing the DLC. That Challenge Room is no joke.. More the "Worlds of Hurt" part. I had to follow a couple videos so I could get a better understanding at where I was going and what I had to do, plus find those roses. Have yet to do that DLC on PS3 but at least now it shouldn't be too bad. Longer, most likely. I love this series. Still just as amazing and beautiful as my first time walking into Rapture. Irrational Games did a fantastic job developing them over the course of 12 years. Wish there'd be another BUT I highly doubt that will happen. I'll just look forward to no multiplayer in Bioshock 2 (it was a dreadful grind..), both Bioshock 2 and Infinite's DLC, get a couple new games and clear my backlog more (yeah right eh? ) until I hear a few release dates, especially for TLoU Part 2. Popular Post TheFinalEmblem
Platinum #73- The Witch and the Hundred Knight I was always on the fence about this game, mostly because of the crashing issue I heard of, but I finally decided to delve into the game, and it was amazing. It was kind of like a fucked up fairy tale, and I love messed up things. And I may have just gotten lucky, but the game only crashed on me twice overall. Also, how did this game not get an M rating? Like the things that are said and implied are pretty fucking dark, and there is even some pretty blatant nudity, even if it's only shown for like 2-3 seconds in a single cutscene. This game scraped by that T rating hard.
