Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
First Plat in 2017 #75 √LETTER-方根書簡- 獲得所有獎盃 Platinum on 13th January 2017 (4 weeks, 21 hours, 44 minutes) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** It's was my very first Japanese visual novel game and I always wondering what's 'Visual Novel' is all about!? And I'm glad I had the chance to play it on PlayStation 4 as it was one of the free to play games on December 2016 and it was a pretty intriguing experience too. There is no skill required for gameplay just reading and clicking text after text there is also some investigation here or there to do...oh! there a lot of traveling too. I think storytelling is visual novel main selling point and personally I feel I was watching a series of animated drama unfolded in each chapters. In my first playthrough I slowly go through all the text but there is 5 different ending so I had to play the story mode another 4 times. Luckily the text can be skip so I fast forward until scene 9 cause the story will play out differently in chapter 9 onward and from there I'll play normally because I wanna to know all the ending in this game. In my opinion visual novel is more suitable for handheld Vita that can play anywhere and anytime. No wonder there is a lot of VN on PlayStation Store in S.E.Asian and most of them are for Vita and is quite expensive too. Will I play another VN game? Hmmm...unless it's free also It's was ultra rare that PlayStation Plus Asian made a VN game FREE. √LETTER-方根書簡- Platinum Video Edited January 14, 2017 by foot_ball_nut
Popular Post straysheep87
#180 - Color Guardians (PS4) I bought this game long ago, then the game became an IGC and I got interested in playing it. Not a bad game, but there are a couple trophies really annoying to get.

Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#157 - Alekhine's Gun This wasn't even remotely as bad as everyone said it was. It's graphically dated no doubt and there are several clipping issues and the AI isn't perfect, that's pretty much all that's wrong with it though. This would easily have been on Hitman's level, if it would have come out 15 years ago along with the 1st one. The Hitman franchise happens to have evolved far beyond what this game has to offer by today's standards so this will hardly be more than mediocre. The grainy filter the PS4 version seems to have is fucking awful though. Enjoyment: 6 Difficulty: 3
Popular Post Lars
I got another 2 easy plats just after new year. Playing some easy games inbetween my main project which is to get as much PS3 multiplayer done as possible. I don't no why (no evidence) but i have the feeling that a lot of servers are gonna close this year. Only doing short multiplayer though. Not doing big grinds anymore or i really have to like the game ( like Blur now). I already completed the Sniper Elite 3, Sniper Ghost Warrior 2, Serious Sam 3, Assassins Creed 3, Red Faction Armageddon and Painkiller in the last 1,5 month. I will continue with this the next few weeks, hope to get as much done as possible. Games like F1 2014, both the Dead Rising 2 versions, Dead Space 3 and Assassins Creed Revelations. So that is what's keeping me busy now, but let's get on with those 2 platinums. #88: Jazzpunk This is again a sort off point and click. It was actually a fun little game, but because i used a guide because i didn't want to spend too much time on this one to begin with, i didn't enjoy it as much as was possible i think. That's with a lot of these games actually, if you use a guide like i usually do then you don't play the game as you supposed to and it gets boring more easily. But the game was more enjoyable then others are. Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 #89: Duke Nukem 3d: 20th Anniversary Edition Another one of those easy titles that were released last year. The normal game is a lot more challenging but because you can use cheats ( And guess, i did) it becomes a game that could be finished in 30 minutes if you know what to do. I didn't so it took me 2 hours. But a very easy game. And the parts that required actual gameplay were fun though. The only thing i dislike is that i'm not used to these old games. So it is difficult for me to shoot because it is more guessing then actually aiming at an enemy. Difficulty: 1/10 Enjoyment: 6/10 So in the next weeks i will play a lot of PS3 multiplayer with some easy games in between. Probably The Bunker and NERO first.

Popular Post Sunflower
#63 - Batman Interesting take on the Batman universe by Telltale games. As a Batman fan in general, and after hearing a lot of mixed feelings towards the game, I really enjoyed this more than I thought I would! The story was interesting and the twists were well-done. Hopefully the ending signifies a season 2.
Popular Post TwilightSpira
PLATINUM 127 - FINAL FANTASY VII Date of achievement : January,14, 2017 Enjoyment : Difficult: 4,0 Hardest Trophy: Ruby Render Final Fantasy VII is the seventh installment from the series released way back in 1997 for the playstation. The game is considered to this day one of the best from the series by many publications and fans/bandwagons alike, but does this game still delivers 20 years later? To put it gently and avoiding any backslash, YES!. The game's story follows Cloud Strife, a mercenary who joins an eco-terrorist organization called AVALANCHE, their main goal is to stop the megacorporation Shinra from draining the planet's life essence as an energy source. However as they start go deeper into their schemes, they discover that the legendary SOLDIER Sephiroth still lingers, and that he is planning something none of then could ever imagine, leading the party and Shinra to reverse plans and pursuit Sephiroth. During their journey, Cloud learns more about his past and builds friendships with his party members, including Aeris, a mysterious girl who somehow holds the answers they seek. Needless to say, she's also has and still holds one of the best scenes that ever graced the series, managing to still deliver the same feeling from 20 years ago, not to mention one of the best characters theme soundtrack. The PS4 port of the game plays really well, the addition of all the modes from the PC port makes this version at least in my opinion one of the best to play and have fun with it. The Turbo mode makes the game flows 3x times faster than usual, making one of the late grind in the game, aka, chocobo breeding and level 99 less frustrating. not to mention the addition of no encounters and god mode, which allows the player to be almost invincible. So in the end the game still holds dear all the memories from 20 years, while bringing trophies and nostalgia. I won't say for the sake of likes, that this game is my favorite in the series, because it isn't, it actually has a "better" game in the same universe, that i think is better and would love to have a re release, Crisis Core with my boy Zack, but that doesn't mean this game isn't special to me and still has a place into the Top 6 for me. ♪ wanna ride my Chocobo all day♪
Popular Post Mcbeanstr
#88 Batman Return to Arkham: Arkham City Spoiler Excellent game still plays really great after 6 years and is still one of the best games ever made imo. There is not much else to say play this if you haven't it's brilliant. One complaint I have to share is this is just a straight up port. Virtuous never improved much other than up the resolution and remove some minor details see spoiler below. That is a bit disappointing because Arkham Asylum looked really good with the Unreal Engine 4 update. Oh well one of those things the game was great in any case. Overall rating 10/10 Plat difficulty 4/10. Spoiler What changed: 1. Solomon Grundy can't be viewed from the Iceberg Lounge after defeating penguin. 2. No more dead scarecrow henchmen during Protocol 10
Popular Post Tanuzomi
#58: Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Bye Bye, Xenoverse Obtained all trophies! I didn't plan to get the platinum but yeah as I played the game after a long hiatus... *caugh, caugh* 2 months... *caugh, caugh* I decided to play it yet again and I had a roll so I collected all remaining 18 trophies within 2 days, at least the RNG missions from Krilin and Yamcha where a bit wasted as they don't wanted to spawn... About the game; I didn't play the first one but what I heard... the story is almost... very similiar even some PQ's... So the story on this game was very nice, the custom character idea was cool, too but going for the specific race skills? Wow it was a bit tedious to grind them as I redo the story 5 times and damn... the last race for me: Frieza one's. He didn't want me to show up his mission so I ended up with the character on Lv80... again...what makes the awakening skill mission a joke at least LMAO... <- and even better skilled as my first saiyan character back then The difficult was not really hard; it was well balanced and even the expert missions, last PQ's, the tests, or the challenge mode was not literally hard just a patient work especially for the combo trials, but yet they where very easy compared to other Bemus out there So as a Dragon Ball fangirl I really loved the game, yet many things could been better tho. Ah yeah and if you don't are a hardcore Dragon Ball fan you will find the game at least nice, too ;D Last but not least: Goddman I love the trophy picture

Popular Post aiccChaos
# 40 - Disgaea 4 It only took me roughly 2 years to complete but hey, it's done. The grind was insane. Popular Post Psy-Tychist
First Platinum of 2017. Volume (#51) Twas a game I never really thought I would play, I just bought it in a sale and thought I might play it at some point. Loved the Britishness in the game (if that even is a word) as all the voice acting and setting ideas and backstory are based in England. Nice little puzzle game in the vein of Frozen Synapse or perhaps Counterspy with graphical aesthetic leaning towards Tron or 'futuristic game polygons'. Enjoyment: 7/10 Difficulty: 3/10
Popular Post Iris Heart
Platinum #27 Thank You for Playing!!Obtained all trophies. Well, I finally give it a try to this franchise and it wasn't so bad at all, some of the girls have some... awkwardly big attributes but if you can ignore that fact, the game can be fun to play. There are some parts that can be tedious but I took them like a challenge, oh, by the way, the game and the guide on PSNP said that you must press or to see the girl's undies in the dressing room, but that isn't correct, you must press to move the camera (and I really find doing this very awkward, but, there is a trophy related to this). The game takes the fan service to the extreme and it's the only negative aspect about playing it. Still, who I am to complain about this if I will be playing Estival Versus later? I've heard about a new game for PS4 but a TPS with water guns sounds like a terrible idea, no matter how much silicone we can see. Ok, enough, no more mimimi, that's even more annoying. I like the game? Yes, I do. It's a great game? Not really, but if you have some time to kill, give it a try. Popular Post Jounochi
Platinum #95 - World of Final Fantasy (PS4) A long time coming. I don't normally enjoy these DO EVERYTHING IN THE ENTIRE GAME type plats, but the game was done well enough to keep me around for 60 hours or so.Gameplay is fairly minimal for a JRPG. I used the same mirage stacks the ENTIRE game mainly because the mirages you catch later on in the game are set back to level 1. The post game super bosses posed a slight challenge, but once you are level 90 you can take on anything with little effort.Music and characters are well done. The story feels slightly fragmented with the FF characters being thrown in and removed quite quickly, but the story finishes really strong.Fun-ish game, but not as good as FFXV.Game Rating: 6.5/10Platinum Difficulty: 3/10
lsroom__
#57 Her Majesty's SPIFFING The Crown Jewels 89.62% (Common) A really straightforward, easy platinum following Brian's guide from PS4Trophies. The game doesn't take itself too seriously, and there's some witty dialogue making references at pop culture and recent events. I was panicking for a moment because of this one trophy that requires you to check on Schrodinger's cat on two separate occasions. I pried and prodded at it the second time and the trophy didn't seem to be popping. So I exited and entered the door, tried again, and thankfully the trophy appeared. If you're having the same problem, might want to try my 'solution' a go. Otherwise, a very quick platinum for those trophy whores like me.

Popular Post Cleggworth
#157 - inFamous 2 inFAMOUS 2 Platinum Trophy I found this game quite difficult to get through. It suffers from the same problems as most open 'city' games do. The world outside the main questline is completely empty and any side quests are boring and repetitive so it just drags on way past its welcome. Elements of the game are fine, combat in particular feels good but the scenarios in which you use them are often repeated over and over again. The experience was saved a little by one thing Zeke's Death at the end of the evil play through. Always thought the guy was a massive douche
