Popular Post Dead Weight
#167 The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel It's a good game but story-wise there isn't too much plot development early on, mostly character development, but it does pick up a bit more halfway through and the ending sets up for the sequel to continue on from. The gameplay is similar to FFX's battle system which I enjoyed and the art and music is quite good. I enjoyed the characters, they definitely have personality to make them memorable throughout the game. I haven't started the second game yet but I have the feeling that Cold Steel 1 is the appetizer and Cold Steel 2 is the main course ( Also I prefer the costumes in CS2 over the school outfits in CS1). I would recommend this game to people who like not too complicated JRPGs, it has similarities to Persona 3 and 4 with it's character bonding events and the school setting. There are a bunch of missable trophies so you will need to use some guides if you want the platinum but it's not difficult so you won't need to grind levels/equipment.
Popular Post GarciaFever
#157 Transistor So here's another game that (in my opinion) had no plot whatsoever. All I know is that some random guy died, got his soul(?) transplanted into a sword, and has to follow this red-head (the protagonist) who was a singer but lost her voice due to unknown reasons. The battle was confusing when I started the game. I can only have up to 4 "skills" (which, when equipped, also act as the amount of lives that you have), had no way of blocking which meant I needed to run away and hide like a street rat, and the enemies are cheap as hell, especially the dogs. Of the skills, the tap ability was garbage. It didn't give me enough health back when used. The only thing that I enjoyed from this game is how I get to start at the same spot where I died, and the enemies are somewhat randomized. Popular Post FOOTBALLNUT
#77 N7 Elite Acquire all trophies Platinum on 10th February 2017 (6 months, 3 weeks, 3 days) **********My Personal Gaming Enjoyment Experience********** Oh, mamma mia!! what a ride!! ... after cleaning up the remaining trophies except platinum in first Mass Effect. I immediately beginning my adventure with commander Shepard in Mass Effect 2 and I was so surprised by gameplay and graphics cause it's was so much different compare to the first game. A.I enemies is more clever in flaking and dodging in shootout now and no more bullet sponges badass. Biotic/Tech power is more effective than in the first game especially combination both power can be devastating effect. My A.I squadmates is more smart where they will seek cover when shootout begin and theirs endurance is much more better without going down easily but when not issue a command for them they'll run further up to engage the bad guys. Insanity mode in my opinion is more difficult than first Mass Effect, there some sections in the main story mission that is hard and tricky. I also encounter some bugs during my playthrough sometime I was stuck in awkwardly position where I have to load my last save to fix it otherwise it was pretty smooth ride till the end. My official time clock at 113 hours and 31 minutes and I think it was more than 114+ hours cause I reload quite a lot of time due to decisions making and death. It going to be even more excited when I begin the final story with commander Shepard in Mass Effect 3 but on the other hand I'm sad as the journey was going to end soon. Popular Post Dr_Mayus
Plat 196-Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning I have decided to join the Plat Rain: Round 4 so I haven't technically platted this game yet...but I could turn on my PS3 and get the plat within about 30 seconds...so yeah it is basically done. As for the actual game...I liked it but it could have been so much better. The game was just so easy even on the hardest difficulty. There was all this stuff in the game like Sage Crafting, Alchemy and Weapon's Crafting...but I never had to use it except to build Fate Potions because those basically made the game an Instant Win. I constantly just found better weapons than I could craft, I never needed to create potions because you either found a ton or you could buy 24 small potions (that healed half your life) for about 300$ and I always had anywhere from 500,000-1 million gold in my possession. The only thing I would spend gold on was small potions or repairing my equipment. I had at one point a little over 3 million gold and nothing to spend it on. There were tons of quests but they were basically either fetch quests or monster killing quests so I just ignored those. There were tons of different weapon types but your Great Sword destroyed everything and eventually I found a Great Sword that could absorb health so I barely needed to heal after that. Like I said I really did like this game...just it really felt like "baby's first RPG" and while that isn't a terrible thing...it was a little disappointing.

Well, the game it was advertised as action rpg that tells you a fairy tale but it was an appetizer for a big game that never happened. Probably that's why it wasn't challenging. Amalur is difficult in hard difficulty? No. But if you wanted a challenge you could travel longer distances being lower level. There's a task in the game where you need to browse the whole map to get some books, I did that early and had some challenge. You know, now that I read that you spent most of your money in fate potions, wow it must be a cake walk abusing of those. I rarely used those potions, i was collecting armor sets and weapons and trying them (that was i spent more of my time), and trying the powers i got with my skill tree. Well, at least this is not like some games that has 80% the campaign a joke and suddelny there's a ridiculous spike in the last levels.

It was funny the only reason I even knew I could make Fate Potions was there is a trophy to do it. I did the trophy and was like "holy crap these put you into reckoning...I have like 40 Fateweaver Regents". I honestly only figured that out about 3/4 through the game anyways and by that point I was wrecking shit up anyways...but once I got them the game ceased to have a challenge. I mean I could have handicapped myself but it wasn't like I was glitching the game out or using cheat codes...I was using items they give you quite often and that just broke the game. The last Prince of Persia I played was pop 2008 and I honestly liked Forgotten Sands a lot more. The story was boring but the combat and platforming was great. Trophy-wise the platinum is very easy and fun to get however, there's two missiable trophy that you have to keep an eye on and that is beating the boss without taking no damage and breaking sarcophagus if you miss these two trophies during your first playthrough you will start a new game.

It would reset after every dungeon so for a minimal price you could replenish your health potions quickly. Popular Post Caldor2K2
- #93 - Fallout 4 I'm not quite sure what to think about Fallout 4. Its not a bad game by any means, but it did fail to hold my attention as shown by my close to year and a half time to platinum it. I avoided spoilers as best I could in the early days, and with the whole start of the game, I somehow just "had a feeling" how the whole thing might play out eventually. Or maybe its just the setting up in Boston (no offense to you guys up there ), but I've not personally been there and have no feelings about it. I see just another city that ended up like the rest of the Fallout world. Perhaps it could be the dumbed down system that it uses, and restricts where you can go until you get a higher hacking/picking perk unlike Fallout 3/New Vegas you could pretty much go wherever whenever. Finally, maybe its all that emphasis put on settlement building. It would not be so bad if it were better implemented I think. On the positive side, I was very pleased to see how well the game performed when compared to Fallout 3/New Vegas. Sure it had a few hiccups here and there, but no constant crashes when locating a new area or slowing down to a crawl to where it takes several minutes to move a short distance. I haven't tried much of the DLC, so hopefully it has no major issues.

Until you actually show me some evidence that piracy is this huge issue on Vita like you claim it is, I don't believe a word of it. I'm willing to bet I know a lot more about Vita than you do, and I've never heard any developers claiming they've lost a large amount of revenue on Vita due to piracy. Please find the Vita equivalent of these: http://www.eurogamer.net/articles/psps-biggest-problem-is-piracy-sony https://kotaku.com/5221988/sony-psp-piracy-levels-are-sickening Oh right, you can't... The Vita has about as many issues with piracy as the PS4 does (almost non-existent). Maybe you should do a little research before you make these false claims in the future. Just a little bit of advice. How the fuck am I bullshitting? Why would any news cover the vita when it's a dying platform? I don't know who put the salt in your cereal, but try adding some sugar, because your responses are just toxic and ignorant at this point. 3 hours ago, Condemned09 said: 166 Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Prince of Persia: The Forgotten Sands Difficulty: 3/10 Enjoyment 7/10 I got this game from ps plus back in September. Actually 3 missables: you have to defeat Ratash twice without damage (once in his weakened state, and then the end-game boss fight) Incredibly easy considering you have access to everything you unlocked on the 2nd playthrough and can just spam Earth. Popular Post jasondm300
Platinum number 100 Rogue Legacy Ergophobia (An abnormal fear of work) 2.99% Ultra Rare 2 years, 6 months, 2 weeks This game is up there as one of my all-time favorite Rouge-like games (along with The Binding of Isaac). Most of the trophies were not too bad, until you get to the remix bosses. A lot of learning and lot of luck. Thanatophobia was rough too, but after many, many deaths, got a great Shinobi build (had Hypergonadism) and explored the castle a bit and found a Hyperion ring for a free Death Defy. Gave me the courage to try the final boss again and came out victorious after 11 children. I can not recommmend this game enough for anyone who enjoys a great 2-d platformer with a fair learning curve.

But last november i checked again, cause it was annoying me so much, it was fixed and hey, i could create and publish again. Anyway, online trophies are the reason why this plat is ultra rare, i mean getting 250k xp for creation trophy and 500k xp for level 30 was such a drag. It took me around two weeks of boosting to get them. And also, online is basically dead. Single player was okay, i had fun with it, Only trophy that gave me trouble was the one for beating all the challenges. All in all, it was an okay game. I will probably go for 100% eventually. Popular Post Superbuu3
#158 Legends of War Legends of War Complete all Trophies This is an RTS game that plays a lot like XCOM gameplay wise minus the base building, so I think a lot of people would actually like this. Trophy wise its very easy as you can put the game on easy, even then unless you put it above normal it shouldn't be too tough. You can choose your soldier types before each mission, but the types of soldier end up pointless as you will ultimately use commandos, snipers and bazooka dudes for all your slots as vehicles are pointlessly cumbersome (this also means any anti tank infantry the enemy become ineffective). So really just ask yourself if you like a XCOM clone set in world war II and plays simply and you have this game. That shouldn't sound bad, because this game certainly is fun if not simple. I heard people make comparisons to Valkyria Chronicles, but it doesn't have the soldier cam which when you strip that away from VC you are left with XCOM, so don't go into the game thinking that.
Popular Post Mad-rise
#4 Just Cause 3 King of MediciEarned all Just Cause 3 Trophies Ultra Rare - 5.67% I would of gotten this platinum probably a month ago if it wasn't for the challenges and bugs that I encountered. The game was very fun and I like the characters too but the more I played the game got worse and worse (bugs not the actual gameplay) Firstly, the story was fun with some fun characters but I felt that it was short but maybe that is because I enjoyed playing through it. Now the bugs, first it was frame drops which I tried to ignored because I liked the game, then it was no weapons when I started the game for some second. Later, I started getting it no weapons on start for minutes and the online log in was terribly long and also got 1-2 crashes. Then one challenge got bugged and there was an invisible wall infront of the cars you have to explode and I tried a trick to get the challenge which was a little bit hard to do, when I finished it I thought I was done with it and finished the other challenges only to find out that I didn't get the 5 stars even though the game said the score to get 5 gears is 19.000 and I had 19.050, it even added me on the leaderboard but it still didn't work so I had to do it again to get the plat. Also at the end there I was getting very long auto-saves and had to wait for them to finish so I can exit and weird bugs like this, this and this. (+) I also got some funny moments where there was a little dog that kept following me around and found Mario on a kart. At the end I actually liked the game most of the bugs started showing up after I finished it when I was trying to get all the trophies the reason is probably because I was playing for years on a shitty pc with even lower frame rates like this and later on played next-gen games on ps3. Popular Post voodoo_eyes
#161 - Dungeons II Well, it looks fairly good and the narrator is great, that's pretty much all that's good about it. Feels unpolished and overly complicated to control with a controller. Having to keep track of 2 separate areas and minimaps can get messy. Having to pay your units salary every 5 minutes gets really annoying, as they drop their work and often don't return back to it (yes, untis need to be near buildings for them to produce upgrades and the likes). It tried really hard to mix Dungeon Keeper with Warcraft 3, but bit off more than it could chew. Could've been a lot better. Popular Post Sylan Vos
#26 Hotline Miami Now I'll say this game is different from any I've recently played. The gameplay and game visuals have a very retro style, almost felt like I was playing on my old Mega Drive back when I was younger. For those who haven't played this yet I recommend you get it, at least for the soundtrack, which is absolutely stellar. Even if electronic music is not a genre you like I'm sure this soundtrack will grow on you and of course, I also have to mention the game plot. I won't spoil anything but it sure is a trippy ride, to say the least. The platinum itself isn't difficult and won't take long when you start to understand the game mechanics that are behind the grading system. Popular Post MeteorHawk
#78- MASS EFFECT 3 N7 Elite Enjoyment: 8.5/10 (ME3), 10/10 (Trilogy) Difficulty: 5/10 (ME3), 6/10 (Trilogy) Took a little longer than I anticipated but I finally have my first platinum of 2017. I took the long way around and did two playthroughs despite importing my character from ME2- first on Normal and then again on Insanity. The difficulty was noticeably lower than Mass Effect 2 on Insanity, I had to keep checking to make sure I hadn't accidentally set it to 'Hardcore' or if it had gone lower at any time. The only really tough parts were some of the Banshee encounters, the boss battle against you-know-who on Chronos Station, the beginning of the Citadel DLC and some parts of the final push. Otherwise it was a pretty decently-balanced run, especially with no Scions blasting me through cover this time! The multiplayer element was a mixed bag for me. There's still a good few playing at certain times but it is possible to eek out a few Galactic Readiness points for each section going solo. After a bit of practice I was getting to Wave 6 each time with my Soldier (probably the worst class to solo on by the way, Biotic classes I'm told are easier) and earning between 4 and 6% GR each time for a single sector as well as a 1% boost on all the others. Once I had 100%, I didn't log in to PSN at all until I got the platinum as I wanted to keep my lovely EMS staggeringly high at over 8000! I expect 2017 to be a year of few platinums as I aim to tackle some of the bigger games in my backlog. At long last, the journey of my Paragon Soldier, Commander Conor Shepard has come to an end. Although I played the 2nd game first as the original had not yet come out on PS3, I went back and platted each one. I intended to get this soon after the plat for 2 but I got waylaid for about 3.5 years! But now it is done and I can honestly say that the Mass Effect trilogy could well be the definitive series of 7th Generation gaming. Sure, then ending was a mess but the journey there was magnificent, emotional and I will remember it for the rest of my days. Though Conor Shepard is retired, I may one day go back and give a Renegade FemShep a go. But for now, I await Andromeda in a month's time!
