Popular Post Venocide
#79 Horizon Zero Dawn All trophies obtained Obtained all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies. Man... I had a lot of fun with Horizon, probably PS4's best exclusive right now (in my opinion). I found that certain parts of the game had quite a difficulty spike, side quests especially, most of them I left until the game of the game until I got "that" armour.
Popular Post Pyro
GHOST RECON: WILDLANDS #36 Ghost Recon is a massive open-world game with so many iconic points of interest that made map exploring fun along with collecting various items such as weapon unlocks, skill points, and farming materials to upgrade them with the skill points, it felt like it had a lot to offer especially the customisation with weapons & your character, but for me it still felt very short. I was looking forward to this game this year & it offered a lot in terms of taking down certain situations with 4 player co-op experience and using drones to recon the area, perform sync shots, and utilising the Rebel perk per say to maximise your effect at a successful outcome to what you're planning to do. AND yet, it still felt short. My main problem was the tiresome of exploring this huge world Ghost Recon throws itself at us, now I'm all for big exploring games as-well as unlocking many cool stuff for your character building. Various parts of the map had so many great areas I just wanted to know more of and hopefully explore them at some point.. only problem was considering how lush open world was in each province, it offered us something different yet very much the same. There was a sense of repetitiveness hence why exploring this world became tiresome very quickly. Me & my friend 100% completed 3 provinces out of around 20 we knew in ourselves that I just wanted to get the other province done and then move on. Whilst I was expecting a high tactical game, the AI itself were dubious to what the heck was going on also, it became for me more of a run 'n' gun in camps when farming for materials & unlockables. Also one last thing to mention why does all the high cartel have Lamborghini cars? Popular Post xFalionx
#26 - Severed Made Whole Yet another plat for one of my titles in the KYC3 event. It's a really great game and I'm glad to have put it on my list. Here's my KYC3 review if you want to read more about the game, it's too long to repost it here.
Popular Post Greenshyguy
#73 - Horizon Zero Dawn All trophies obtained Not a very exciting plat (icon & trophy description could use a little more imagination) considering how popular the game is. Aside from that, it was a good game. Visuals & gameplay were top notch and I liked how you couldn't power level your way through the game as taking down enemies still requires a certain degree of skill. However I wouldn't consider the game to be ground breaking and it also lacks replayability. The crafting system needs work and (personally) I felt that the combat was too easy/simplistic as long as you selectively target the highlighted parts on enemies with the correct elemental arrow ... although my judgement may be potentially clouded coming straight from Nioh.
Popular Post MStalker58
#139 Furi What an awesome game! Furi might knock off Helldivers as my favorite PS+ game. Gems like this make the service worth every penny for me. The gameplay is addictive, challenging, fast, fun, and smooth. Not to mention a good soundtrack and vibrant visual style. Even when I was struggling, this game had that "one more try, I know I can do better" quality to it that kept me coming back for more despite getting my ass kicked. And trust me, that happened way more than I care to admit. For anyone who hasn't played Furi, it is a mix of part hack-n-slash swordplay and part bullet hell shmup. This combination works perfectly and provided some of the most fun I've had with a game in a while. Oh yeah, the entire game is boss battles. There are 10 bosses, all of which are unique and memorable. There are no filler bosses, common enemies, exploring, side missions, or none of that stuff. Just you and 10 bad ass bosses who will test your patience and skills. Each boss fight involves learning your opponent's attack patterns, evading or parrying until you find an opening to inflict damage. These battles can be lengthy as each boss has several (usually 4-6) health bars. Each bar represents a different phase of the fight but new moves and patterns in each phase keep the combat interesting and prevents it from being repetitive. Also, there are no upgrades or skills to unlock. You have every move at your disposal from the very beginning of the game. They consist of dodge, parry, slash, and shoot (most of those can be charged as well). The only thing that changes is your mastery of those moves. And you will have to master them to beat the game because relying on button mashing is a recipe for a quick death. Not going to lie, I've been known to rely on button mashing in some games but luckily the mechanics in Furi are simple to grasp with practice. My only complaint would be the sections in between bosses where you are slowly walking to the next arena. For a game which features such fast gameplay, these parts were painfully slow and awkward to control. Thankfully you can just press a button and your character will automatically walk without you having to do anything. The graphics and environments during these slow walks were nice to look at and the story was filled in during these parts but they seemed to drag on at times. Then again, I didn't mind a little breather after some of those crazy and hectic boss fights. I'm looking at you "The Burst" and your damn annoying final pattern of madness. Definitely recommend this game to anyone who enjoys a challenge. Worth giving a look if you are like me and had it sitting in your download list from PS+.
Popular Post snakebit10
#208 Horizon Zero Dawn Were Do I begin? For one I'm not one to play many RPG's. At first I wasn't really excited that one of my favorite developers were making a RPG in stead of another Killzone game. I really didn't pay a lot of attention to HZD up until about a week before it released then for some reason I started to get excited about it and pre-ordered it. I cannot say enough good things about it. It is worthy of all the good reviews it got. Yes it reminds me of a bunch of other games but executed flawlessly. It has bits of Far Cry, Uncharted and the combat somewhat reminds me of The Witcher 3 (what little of it I played.) The characters and the story are excellent. The whole Idea of the machines and what happened to earth is very intriguing and kept me glued to the game. I clocked over 60 hours in the game and it never felt like it was dragging on or getting stale. There isn't to many games I have put that much time into. This is probably my favorite exclusive this gen, surpassing The 2 infamous games and Uncharted 4. Developers need to take note because I think HZD is going to be hard to beat in terms of graphics, story and gameplay. IMO. Now I have a week to wait for Mass Effect Adomeda.
Walt the Dog
Plat #314 (on Pi Day) Miko Gakkou Monogatari Kaede-hen Welp, that was a coincidence I really wasn't expecting. I literally realized it just as I got the plat. In any case, I'll admit that I did not pay attention to the story in this one at all despite the English subtitles (apologies to @Satoshi Ookami ). I was mostly just playing Funk of Titans, which I should have the plat to soon enough, while the unskippable cutscenes were going. Also reached Level 69 off of the last non-plat trophy of the game. Very difficult platinum, but also insanely fun. I've wanted to play this game since it originally came out in 2010, but was sad it never came to PS3. When I first saw it was coming to PS4 finally, I was ecstatic. When I first saw the trophy list, I thought it was going to be impossible, but didn't really care about not getting the platinum... I just wanted to play this awesome game. One thing led to another, and now I have this! This platinum, although very difficult, most definitely is not impossible; if you remain dedicated, you can probably get this too.
Popular Post Tyxoune
#63 Horizon Zero Dawn Enjoyment: 10/10 Difficulty: 2/10 I've been waiting for this game since the announcement trailer during E3 2015 ! Then I've been avoiding any spoilers / new trailers or informations about the game to make sure I could enjoy the game in full discovery! And what a great game ! The universe is mindblowing, so interesting I've been reading any logs I stumbled across and totally immersed myself in the story. I loved Aloy and Rost, they are great characters. The gameplay is perfect in my opinion too, it's fun, fast and it has a lot of way to approach the same situation by different means. I played on Hard straight for the beginning and the game isn't really challenging, just extremely fun ! This is one of the best game I've played in recent memory ! Thank you Guerrilla Games ! Thank you very much for playing! I like all the various new changes found in this version compared to the original. Most changes made it better while a certain few were annoying. For anyone else, I'd say the changes are much more appreciated if the original was played first in my opinion.
Popular Post KratosTheMighty
Plat#66 The Order 1886 I bought it in a sale for about 5 bucks. I really enjoyed it. I loved the story, the characters, and the weapons were awesome. I can understand why some wouldn't like it as much as it is pretty story driven. I liked the combat though. I really hope they make a sequel. It was a quick, and easy plat to boot.
Popular Post jaehyun1009
#84 - Dust: An Elysian Tail Mithrarin Unlock all other Trophies Difficulty 4/10 Score 9/10 This game has been in my profile at 8% for years because I originally started on normal difficulty then found out there was a difficulty trophy... and I didn't want to start over even though I didn't really get that far. Needless to say I was robbing myself of a great experience to come, and I'm glad I came back to this one. Tough difficulty is quite taxing at first, but manageable by mid-game especially with the food that gives you 4x defense, and even easier if you abuse the merchant glitch to give yourself virtually endless healing items. None of the challenges took me more than 20 or so minutes. If I had one criticism of this game, is that movement controls with the left joystick can be very... fidgety.see what i did there
Popular Post Paulie1313
#84 KILLZONE HD Enjoyment: 5/10 Difficulty: 3/10 Finally got around to playing this as I bought it over 2 years ago, but stopped gaming for awhile. Always dreaded the 4 play throughs, but in the end, it wasn't all that bad. Didn't use cheats on my Hard run as I wanted to properly gauge difficulty vs KZ2, and although tricky & frustrating in some areas, this game is much easier then KZ2. Overall a decent game, Guerilla Games could have revamped it a little, but it's Killzone and you are killing Helghast, graphics are cool, but gameplay wasn't too bad for a PS2 post. Big Head & Powerful Weapons cheats made the Easy runs for the other characters must simpler and finished the other 3 campaigns in less than a day.

All I need are KZ2, and Shadowfall.
