While definitely not a hard platinum, its not as easy as I though as there a bit of grinding near the end as even if when I beat the game on hard difficulty with all the side mission complete, I was only level 19.5. you need to reach level 23 for the trophy All Growed Up. Fortunately I had no glitches during my play through, and manager to reach full level during new game plus. Another trophy that was more difficult than it seems is So Above It All, which I've tried several times. You cannot get it successfully, you have to fully upgrade your movement skill. While I do recommend this game for anyone, especially for a quick platinum, my only warning is the story as it is predictable and pointless as hell with some of the worst characters and dialogue I've ever heard in a video game. And I though DMC had bad writing, this takes the cake. Now its time to move to another category of games, how about FPS. You could try out Titanfall 2. Popular Post Greenshyguy
#74 - Nioh You are Nioh Wasn't originally planning on picking this up - spontaneous purchase. But glad I did. Personally found it much easier than Bloodborne/Dark Souls but more enjoyably with the Japanese lore. Trophies overall were fairly straight forward with only one (make 60 requests at the blacksmith) requiring some grinding. Next on the list - NieR: Automata !

Popular Post Gommes_
#81 Titanfall 2 FPS are not my first choice of games but this was awesome! Really liked how the game felt and how different the shooting mechanic were as soldier and in a titan. I absolutely recommend that game and hope that it sold well, even though EA placed it around Battlefield 1 and COD. Even after the platinum I come back to the online mode from time to time, which is great as well.

Popular Post Superbuu3
#161 Ratchet and Clank: Full Frontal Assault / Q-Force The Collector Collect all trophies I still personally found this game pretty fun. If it had more maps it would be a lot more fun and the lack of bots in versus kills the game. However playing coop through the campaign is fun and this has got a handful of the decent weapons from Ratchet and Clank, being able to play as Captain Qwark was a big plus for me. This is an easy platinum there's only one grindy trophy that shouldn't take you too long, which involves travelling a certain distance.

Popular Post Ala-Arska
Platinum #300! Valkyria Chronicles Remastered Valkyrie of the Battlefield Obtain all decorations As you can see, this is a special one for me. I'm all smiles right now, and it's not gonna fade anytime soon Initially I had trouble choosing a game to celebrate the milestone and the many years to get there. Then I remembered Valkyria Chronicles. I never played it on PS3, but I read many great reviews and opinions about it. I took the leap of faith, and it paid off. Valkyria Chronicles IS a great game. It makes you think, story-wise and gameplay-wise. And it's music to your ears. My first playthrough was pretty much played blindly, without video guides and such. Showed me how bad a tactician I really am I absolutely loved the story here. An alternate reality WWII was ripe for big human emotions, in battlefields and civilian homes alike. I'm not saying I shed a tear in key points ('cause I'm a MAN!), but some Band of Brothers-like events caused ninjas to chop an onion or two Controls, music and voice acting deserve two thumbs up from me. Everything fits together perfectly, not a single frustrating moment was had. Finally, that Platinum image is pretty friggin' awesome! More splendid it would be were I a female, but you play with the cards you're dealt I absolutely, positively recommend Valkyria Chronicles (Remastered) to anyone, everywhere. It's got charm in spades, and most importantly it's FUN! Lastly, I'd like to thank PSNP and its members for keeping me motivated all these years. You're the best, this one's for you guys "Valkyria, Valkyria May the bloodline live forever Valkyria, Valkyria, Bless and protect our fertile land"

Popular Post ArmoredSnowman
All trophies obtained Obtained all Horizon Zero Dawn trophies. Plat Image: Spoiler Difficulty: 3/10 (4/10 including Hunting Grounds + Corrupted Zones) Enjoyment: 9/10 (Damn collectibles) Well, it took two weeks, including many breaks and college time, but I finally joined the club and platted Horizon, after putting FFXV on hold. The grazer dummies and metal flowers trophies were very tedious for me. I enjoyed the sidequests and errands, felt that Redmaw was overhyped considering it was just a normal thunderjaw, and fucking love the shield weaver armor (which made the hunting grounds and corrupted zones, and the boss fight ezpz). Would I recommend this? Fuck yes. I don't even like RPG or Open-world games, and it caught my attention. Literally, you feel like you've played for minutes and realize you've played 8+ hrs on end -- it's that good. Leveling up to 50 isn't a grind, as the sidequests, errands, and zones/grounds will get you there without worry. It sucks though that the tribes won't know the truth of their world, and still think Aloy's a goddess's gift. I loved the parkour, ropecaster, bows, and story. The only time I chose the fist option was when I killed Helis. Fuck him, I ain't giving him compassion. Overall, it was a Far Cry Primal meets Tomb Raider, all while still having its distinct mechanics. If there's three games on the PS4 that I'd recommend, it'd be Titanfall 2, inFAMOUS Second Son, and Horizon, though Uncharted 4 and Rise of the Tomb Raider are beyond great as well (fuck the dolphins trophy on UC4). Don't hesitate, give this game a try! If still not convinced, maybe Young Aloy will do the trick? You won't expect the twist in the story, or who Aloy's mother is. I look forward to the expansions, especially a prequel centering on Rost + Aloy, and the inevitable sequel(s). I just wish there was grappling in this game, but ah well. In conclusion, fuck the Stormbird and Rockbreaker. I like how the ridable creatures appear like Chocobos (if you upgrade the mount skill), meaning you could leave them somewhere and go to another part of the map, and call them, and they appear a short distance from you. And, I did all the sidquests, collectibles, hunting grounds, and corrupted zones before doing Looming Shadow mission, just so I could get the plat after the mission...and it turned out really well! (though the screenshot for completing the mission is just a black screen ) Ah, I'm wondering what to play now...guess I'll get the last two collectibles on UC4 to get the plat out of the way already (not sure about doing the survival coop), and then clean up Rise and start on survivor difficulty... Aside from that, probably going to start on the PS3 version of Lego Avengers. See ya. Edited March 19, 2017 by ArmoredSquirreXD

Popular Post Jak
#102 Gobelin Master Unlock all trophies Weaker image than prequel's, but better name than prequel's (even if typo, which is embarassing). Made #2 First Achiever as well. A weird'ish sequel, which is likely due to my expectations. This is not the full sequel (via my expectations) to the first game that I was expecting; there were a few shortcomings. I'll list some pros and cons. Still worth noting, however, this sequel is still a great and fun game and still worth the price (does plenty of praise-worthy sequel improvements), especially for that true, hardcore stealth gameplay, something games like Dishonored and Assassin Creed do not provide. Pros (includes top-major issues fixed/tweak from first game): Spoiler - There are now, at most, only up to 2 Zones per Mission. The first game got criticized for having too many -- 3-4 per mission. (Note: This makes trophies, replay-ability, insignias/collectibles, and mission task better.) - Improved combat (people like Gameranx fail to acknowledge real improvements). 1. The forced 1v1 lock on mode via confrontation from MoS is gone. It is just the same free camera during normal play. 2. Consecutive parries being needed to take down enemies in combat is also gone, it's just one parry now and Styx follows up with a new stunning counterattack after the parry - Tighter controls with new precise ledge detection + a new gp-mechanic that allows players to grab ledges upon falling off if holding R2 (similar to Uncharted's) - (Amazing) Revamped U.I - Less back tracking to same zones - Faster kill and door unlocking animations - Improved load times (especially respawn load times-- generally under 10secs) - New incredibly convenient quick save feature via the simple button press of left or right d-pad - Elves have been nerfed considerably - Amber Vision conveniently re-mapped to R3, freeing up a free slot for a d-pad amber power, and no longer eats up amber energy - Best gameplay of the two games (includes new customization, coop, and crafting features [which itself excels the exploration aspect], along with improvements to abilities like invisibility - Styx can now exit stealth on command - and sneak attack from hide-in objects - Styx is now the one able to hide in objects and kill enemies from within - and Styx's running speed is even faster to traverse levels more quickly) - More stable framerate (but it's still 30FPS on consoles) - Much better graphics (new engine-- Unreal Engine 4. First game received slack for the texture graphics looking like plado. Also fully rendered cutscenes throughout), lighting, darkness and sound (gameplay wise these are notable improvements) - The constant flashy white line-geometry from MoS (which apparently, claimed from a youtuber, did not exist "at all" in the Xbox version of MoS) has drastically decreased Cons: Spoiler - More emphasis on humor, but is cringe-worthy (includes multiple developer, budget, and pop-culture if right word references) mostly - Inferior plot and storytelling (though shouldn't really be a relevant factor in games since games are primarily about game-play and interact-able experiences) - Slightly less controls (movement and jumping only.. rolls and climbing are more refined) - Weaker enemy variety - Illogically placed new acid barrels mechanic (mechanic itself is fine) - Styx's is less likeable because his voice is more often rough, and he's such a jerk now to the point where he's actually a real asshole, since he nearly doesn't pity anything or have pathos for others (However better than the im too badass for that route.) - Weak(er)'ish and abupt ending - Less amount of secret passages (includes mini passage shortcuts) - Still existent back tracking to same maps - Collectible Coins are still required to be collected in full sets per zone for the missions in order to be counted as having collected them all. (If you dont collect them all per zone, you then have to get every one you already got plus any/all others.) Features im not sure which are better overall: Spoiler - Music - Level Design (though SoD does step it up in some levels) - Puzzles - A.I (possibly SoD) - GP animations - Atmosphere Some new little gameplay touches I love: - Styx no longer ALWAYS carries out his dagger like a one dimensional serial killer-sociopath - Bolts replacing knives, as bolts cannot only be crafted unlike knives, but Styx having a mini attached cross-bow on arm is badass - Dagger now reflects the level of light and darkness in environments (does a better job than the previous tattoo to) Some new little game-play touches I dislike/hate: - The new voice over line for throwing sand balls (doesn't seem like a good design choice, esp for immersion and a game that improves upon the already established sound factors into game-play aspect) - Despite the bigger geometry redesign of coins, the amber power cursor for coins that let's you see them is a small dot this time, which can often be confused with particle effects in games and are just harder to follow It wasn't suppose to be this long... Popular Post Flop
#79Platinum TrophyCollect all Dead Rising TrophiesGod, I adore this game. Might possibly be my favorite zombie game of all time. Don't even know what genre to apply to this game, due to how obscene the game can be at this time. I just personally like to consider it as a genreless game, 'cause sometimes I like to play through the whole game comically, while in the next playthrough I try to stick to a serious tone when playing the game, while following the storyline featured in the game, that is. But excluding the Case Files that there are to follow through, when free playing the game, the game can be turned into a mode that is purely full of solely shits 'n' giggles, depending on what kind of playstyle you got. I made sure that my playthroughs got sillier and sillier than the one beforehand. I made sure that MY Frank West would look sillier and fabulous per every playthrough that ensued on my game sessions for this game. Kinda hard to take the game seriously like in the pic above during Case missions. But the harder it was to take the game seriously during such sections, the more fun the game was for me personally overall. Dunno why it took me so long to plat the game since I did express that I sincerely adore this game. I was already familiar with this game years ago, back to when the game was exclusive to the Xbox 360 back in 2006. I got the remastered ver. of Dead Rising for the PS4 back to when it launched 6 months ago, but I finally plat it just this past week. Infinity Mode is probably the cause of this, god did I dread the damn mode. You need to survive 7 in-game days, which in account totals to 14 real-time hours. And no, you can't save, you have to beat it in one session. But at least with the PS4 you can take advantage of the Rest function mode Your life bar depletes per minute, so situations can get quite hasty at times. Buuut I played through the mode BORINGLY safe, since I didn't want to take the risk of easily dying to due to getting easily grabbed by zombies, and have them take a big chunk of HP away from me, and so, I just placed Frank in places where zombies couldn't get ahold of him and I made sure to check on him frequently so that he wouldn't die due to food deprivation. Aside that complaint being my only actual personal con for the game, platting the game was quite easy, though it could've possibly had gotten tedious for me if I wasn't careful. Can take you several playthroughs to obtain all trophies, but as long as you follow a guide, and be wary about the requirements for the trophies, and how the game functions, you'll be fine, and hopefully content with what the game has to offer. Fuck Infinite Mode tho Pretty fun killing zombies with many different methods, and hilarity always ensues whenever I get the chance to ridicule Frank's looks, so this is a game I might frequently be playing even after all these years.
