AssassinShadow56
Seriously, how did Ubisoft expect us to find a 100 FEATHERS WITH NO MAP? I am currently trying to get them, so I can get the platinum, and holy jesus I am only at 35 right now. I am using a map, because without it, I would NEVER get the damn trophy. Anyone agrees with me? freddie1989
Worst trophy they ever put in Assassins Creed that I have come across, I used a map!!
itzzh3lixx
Didn't collect a single feather during the story so when it was time to follow a video guide it was extremely easy
BooneJusticius
Assassin's Creed 1 has 420 flags. Granted, the PS3 version doesn't have trophies but given the frustration the feathers in AC2 are giving you I imagine you're glad AC1 doesn't have trophies. There is a theory circulating that these things are included in games to fuel the strategy guide market hehe
Meacham
It's exaggerated how annoying this trophy is. There have been collectibles in games for years, a lot worse than this. I didn't find it too bad because, sure, I used a map but going through the story, I focused on each section you were allowed to roam in. So where the animus hadn't synced that was my cut off until it opened up. That way you can focus on the feathers a little bit at a time without getting frustrated with them. Everyone is different though, that was just my method. Edited August 20, 2014 by Meacham93
Popular Post captainskyhawk
Try the blast shards next in the 1st Infamous game.
Popular Post MoreTheVictim
Wow... if you find these collectibles already annoying you must be new to gaming and trophies....
Bonofifa
Was that a hard trophy? I did it in 3 hours with a guide I found on the internet. I already had like 20 feathers but it was still easy. You can check how many feathers you have collected in each city if that helps.
JoJoBelfast
It was boring but so worth it. This games Platinum icon is among my favourites
dharksoul
Blast shards were easy, feathers weren't shop bad.
Berryjammy5
oh, it wasn't so bad. it took maybe 3 hours with a guide. that is no where near as bad as other games (final fantasy x.... fuuuuuuuuuuck you)
DragonwagonX
I personally thought it wasn't that bad, but I remember when I messed up and had NO IDEA where certain feathers were.. I had to go back and really search. That sucked, but finally found them I would rather deal with this then Infamous and the blast shards though.. *Shivers*
xWinson
Lol this was my first platinum I ever made! Think I did it by being organised and doing each section by divide and conquer (with a guide ofc).
PSNP is crap i left
Meh, it wasn't THAT annoying. I've played games that are even worse.
Saltyie
This is very easy compared to other games, if Assassin's Creed 1 ever got a trophy patch, collecting all the flags would be a bitch. Crackdown (1) also has horrible collectibles, since you have to get them to progress your character, making it near impossible to keep track of the ones you're missing. Not to mention GTA IV's pigeons.
JC_Shiryuu
Yeah this trophy it's kinda boring since Ezio doesn't have the skills of jumping or reaching high building really fast of Cole from Infamous Series, but come on this trophy is "In Memory of Petruccio", a good way to remember his brother. Captain_Cutscene
Wow... if you find these collectibles already annoying you must be new to gaming and trophies.... I don't think there is any connection between the stage at which you come to find collectibles annoying and where you are at with gaming and trophy experience. Or if there is at least, it isn't relevant here - they were expressing an opinion that the feather collectibles specifically in AC2 were annoying, they weren't generalizing. Mr_Freaker
Am I the only one who found it fairly easy? (insert Walter meme here) Do you guys know there's an ingame map which shows every city divided into seperate districts and how many feathers every district has? So basically you just run within the area you're looking for, look into the distance for something sparkling that isn't a twilight vampire and voila.
soniq
It wasn't nearly as bad as the pigeons in GTA 4 or the banners in AC1.
Razza
I personally didn't find collecting the feathers that annoying to be honest, took a couple of sessions at most to use a guide and collect them all I had more trouble trying to collect all the blast shards on InFamous than I had with collecting feathers on AC II
AssassinShadow56
Using a guide, it's quite easy, but damn.. I feel sorry for the ones who did it without a guide. Currently in 58 feathers, gotta keep going.
AssassinShadow56
Finally got every feather. I got the "Show your colors" trophy as well, "The Vetruvian Man" (20 puzzles done) left for platinum.
CuteBoringLove
Use the DNA Sequence to see how many feathers you have left in each section as it makes it easier.
