RobThanatos
It's the same levels and such, but a lot of the game mechanics have been changed as well as enemies and toned down gore.

ExHaseo
It's basically the definitive version of Ninja Gaiden 2. In my opinion, the changes they made for Sigma 2 makes the game actually worth playing. I tried NG2 when it was released on 360, and it just wasn't all that great to me, but then I tried Sigma 2 and had a ball. The major changes made to Sigma 2 from NG2 include: New bosses Online co-op mode 2 additional playable characters New levels for the new characters New weapons Unlimited arrows Edited October 16, 2014 by ExHaseo
Shana Alter
It's basically the definitive version of Ninja Gaiden 2. In my opinion, the changes they made for Sigma 2 makes the game actually worth playing. The major changes made to Sigma 2 from NG2 include: New bosses Online co-op mode 2 additional playable characters New levels for the new characters New weapons Unlimited arrows As well as these changes: Removal of explosive kunai and the large shuriken. Removal of giant armadillo bosses. Less enemies, a lot less. Blood is only on your weapon nowhere else. Dismemberment is harder. Weapon upgrading is no longer whenever you have enough essence, you're now limited to stores when they have a blue aura and can only upgrade once per time. You can't do an ultimate attack with the bow.
