what is the best cod for multiplayer ?

Personally I loved the Multiplayer on World At War but I wouldn't advise trying it now as it seems to be bugged and hacked to hell on multiplayer

Definitely Black Ops....followed by MW2.Its been years since I last played online though...and last time I played MW2 there were tons of hackers already,B.O must be in the same boat by now.

I would say MW2 and BO1 both had/have really fun multiplayer. The games after that i never played but i heard that they're worse.

1). Black Ops II.

All of the replies you've gotten are opinions, obviously. It seems like these opinions are based on the MP of those CoD's when they were in their prime though. But I don't think these people have played those CoD's anytime recently, those CoD's are now riddled with hackers. The best CoD for Multiplayer CURRENTLY would be BO2 because there aren't a lot of hackers like in the previous games. I would say Ghosts but not a lot of people including myself enjoy it.

Well it depends. Personally Modern Warfare 3 is my favorite ,but logically Ghost is your best bet because it's the newest and it will have more players. It will also have the least amount of hackers. I personally would just wait for advanced warfare to come out because as a veteran of the series I was not very happy with Ghost. And once Advanced warfare is out a majority of the players will ditch Ghost and start playing Advanced Warfare

You're wasting your time buying any of the older CoDs....they're destroyed with hackers. If you've never played a CoD before just get Ghosts or wait till TitanCod...*Ahem* I mean Advanced Warfare comes out. 

Actually BO2 has more players and less hackers than Ghosts.

  I haven't played either of them in a while. I just assumed Ghost had more because it's the newest. I personally have only played less than 10 hackers in ghost but ive came across quite a few in Black Ops 2 and every cod prior. It's good to know that more people are playing Black Ops 2 though because it's vastly superior to Ghost.

hackers is the reason why were searching for a one good multi game and wee gonna play it in a private room/server a private room/server with no hackers in it

I quit playing CoD, but Had fun with Cod though until I switched to Battelfield.

MW2-BO2 are good CODS for multiplayer not so much ghost

Call of Duty 4, I still reguarly play this game with my friends after buying it 6 years ago. Not to mention that the game costs literally nothing now

Well, I've only played 2, Blops and Blops2. With that being said, I really liked Blops2.

To play with friends, i recommend you to get Black Ops 1.

 

If someday you decide to play on your own, Black Ops 2 is a good option, because if you are good enough, you can rule the match alone.
