Fair enough Wade. I have found myself in conversation as well once i've gotten comfortable in a particular game and am playing with people I "know" fairly well. I guess I should/could clarify that I don't want People that want to talk about [annoying topic here] when they are Randoms or know we are in a tough challenge. I'm probably over-sensitive to it because I need to focus to succeed and that type of chatter is unbelievably distracting; i'm not one of God's gifts to the gaming industry that can dominate any disc I throw into my PS3 :shakefist: unfortunately. :P

Man, we were doing nothing but chatter during those Ghostbusters MP events. Seemed that everything worked out just right. Part of MP is the interaction. If I want to play in silence, I'll do that offline.

In single-player, any sort of protection/escort objective. I find no amusement in keeping a braindead AI alive, or defending a landmark from hundreds of men armed with explosives. Additionally, I can barely tolerate tracking down inordinate numbers of meaningless collectibles anymore. Prototype 1 is the worst example I can recall when it comes to the latter.

Multiplayer, there's too much to cover, really. Considering all the outrageous stuff you have to put up with, between the community, lag, and imbalances, it's a wonder I've remained so interested in MP over the years. My most recent gripe is the laughable amount of quitting which goes on in Uncharted 3, by players protecting their phony stats. Fortunately, the upcoming patch should at least reduce this.

True story, haha. We had a blast with that game but, we had a pretty cool crew... that's the type of situation where I don't mind chatting a bit ;) Especially since there were only a handful of maps that all of us knew intimately as well as the spawn spots of all the ghosts. I may end up purchasing that game to play again... I borrowed it from a friend and felt somewhat obligated to get it back to him in a timely manner.

Dead Space online, some people friends and max level to join and to play in the same team and not sharing the teams to be more fair...And to some games like Street Fighter some people playing only with stupid combos, thats why become angry when they lose with simple attacks and throws ;)

People who hack trophies or boost trophies they couldn't otherwise get. I have zero tolerance for haxX0rs. I can only understand boosting if online mp is dead and you have no way of getting it otherwise. But people boosting games with large, active online populations re-define weak.

This describes my feelings towards trophies. And it's unfortunate I am one of the people swayed by trophy lists. But I'd rather play a good game with a hard trophy list than suffer through a horrible game with an easy one.

Agreed.

Some of the games I like don't have platinum trophies, but I love playing them anyway.

The stuff I hate in gaming it's campers & snipers that think they're great players.

I'll play Battlefield 3 and sometimes I see gamers play nothing but snipers on Rush mode

They're cowards I tell you :shakefist:

For me games that:

1. Needs to play over and over again because of level of difficulty (Dark Souls)

2. Online Muliplayer glitches (Tomb Raider)

3. Arrogant, uneducated and rude players feeling to be smartass.( I remember when I played NBA2k13, my teamates dont let me handle the ball for the whole game and sent me message saying "faggot").

- system / game freezes

- lag

- collectible trophies

- games that are released without proper beta-testing

Worst of all though, are people who have a cocky attitude and/or feel the need to pm others to insult them. I mean really? I'd love to have the problems those people have to consider something so trivial that important.

It is beyond me how some people don't seem to realise that games are to be played for fun. I mean great, you got placed first at the end of a round, an achievement that most involved will have forgotten by the time the next round starts.

Mine is people who have prestiged multiple times in a game and take the fun out of playing MP in some games. For example, last night I was playing AC Revelations and there was a guy that joined that was level 50 prestige 32 and starting raping everyone. Sorry but they need there own lobby cause that shit makes me want to shut it off and quit playing it for good. It's like dude we get your point your a tool and got no friends. Just saying.

Forced online features in games.

What is wrong with a game that is purely offline story mode? These days online JRPG's and smaller games seem to get away with that "unpunished". It doesn't put me off to buy such games, but it makes me wonder "why?". Take God Of War: why does it need online multiplayer? The games are great as they are, it feels like something pushed on the creator by commercial teams.

Other than that question I find very little that annoys me these days. Must have something to do with the fact that in the days I started gaming half the thrill was getting the game started up! In these glorious days we pop in a blue-ray, DVD or download it and the damn thing works! Not just once, but all the time!! Freaking awesome  :yay:
