Popular Post Satoshi Ookami
Now that I've hoarded some Plats, I believed it was right time to create this because otherwise I probably wouldn't want to do it if the list was longer =D At the beginning, I should introduce myself, right...? I've been active player of Sony merchandise for about 3 years but the first year was only on PSP as all VNs I wanted to try were still on PSP but Vita started to slowly build a good J-games database and... Virtue's Last Reward. I never stop saying that VLR (precisely the fact that it was put 10.04.2013 on PS+) was the reason why I bought Vita and I still cannot decide if that or P4G is my favorite Vita game =D After few months, I got PS3 for my birthday because I tried Okami HD on friend's PS3 and I really wanted to finish it... but the true reason for PS3 were 2 games. Time and Eternity and Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory and... especially the thing that Hanazawa Kana voiced characters in both games. But let's talk about them later. More than anything, more than saying how difficult or recommendable games are I'll say some interesting things that are connected to those games. =) As I incline more to completion (actually... I think I have OCD = Obsessive Completion Disorder ) I don't play that many games but those I do, I try to complete. That's why my list of Platinums isn't that high yet (With over 100 Plats, no one believes that, right? xDDD) And now, welcome to the Compendium, Cards, lead the way! Warning! Huge fanboism of Hanazawa Kana present Platinum #1: Virtue's Last Reward Yep, there's nothing else I could start my list with. As I already said, this game was the reason why I started playing games with trophies. I still remember all those times when I was solving cleverly done puzzles instead of listening to lectures I loved everything about this game and I still hope the 3rd installment will somehow be released, this series is too amazing to be left unfinished. And because Uchi-sama is a god! He delivered! And boy... did he deliver. Platinum #2: Gravity Rush My first game I've ever played. Since Vita came week before VLR was put on Plus, I first tried this =) In a way this game (and NFS: MW) symbolizes my evolution as completionist as I just finished the story and for a month didn't come back to get the remaining trophies, something I wouldn't ever do again I think this game is one of the best Vita games ever and even though I had few rages over challenges and special Nevis, it was all worth =D It's also first game that I completed and had DLC trophies. I didn't buy them all together, I first only went for Maid one But I believe that my trophy hunting/completion OCD started somewhere here =D Pretty soon, right? Platinum #3: Okami HD First PS3 platinum. I got this game with VLR on PS+ (even though I didn't have PS3 ). I first tried it on older PS3 that was in café I visited a lot and got pretty far. So when my birthday came, I knew what to wish for =D I got PS3 about 2 weeks before the actual birthday and... even Platinum was earlier Exactly one week. It's a beautiful game and I can't just forget the feeling when I FINALLY caught the last fish for the trophy =D Every other trophy was fun but fishing seriously NOT Platinum #4: Time and Eternity And... the first game I bought because HanaKana was there =D It was the first physical game I've bought and I bought it about week after release, yea, I was that eager Since I was still playing on a very old CRT TV, I had a few problems with reading the subtitles (so I understood more from listening ) and checking the map but I was able to Platinum it =D I believe this game is embodiment of anime JRPG, fantastic anime drawing and... BRILLIANT voice acting =D Platinum #5: Hyperdimension Neptunia Victory Ok, this may sound weird considering how I present myself as huge Neptunia fan but... I didn't have any idea about this series before anime adaptation started Yes, I'm ashamed... And again, I probably wouldn't care that much if... HanaKana wasn't there =D Immediately after I read that she voices Plutie, Plue became my all time Neptunia character no.1 and I even exchanged Yotsuba/Clover from VLR for Plutie in my PSN avatar and it stays there 'till now If Victory wasn't made, I probably wouldn't be that huge fan of Neppys now As for memory of the gameplay... I remember overgrinding to beat Gargoyle in chapter 4 (to get the 40 points/chapter trophy) and since I was overleveled, I breezed through the game easily Platinum #6: Persona 4 Golden Hm... what to say? This is absolutely... Golden. In terms of pure gaming, it's by far the best Vita game there is. But I still feel emotional attachment to VLR but on the other hand, I'm HUGE Persona fan. Plus... this game had HanaKana, again. =D Since this wasn't (per Atlus rule) dual audio, I overvoiced Marie's lines with Youtube videos of Japanese Persona Golden That way I at least simulated the RIGHT voice Marie deserved =D Another interesting fact was my first playthrough =D I spent 130 hours on it and got 46/50 trophies! Even the infamous Risecchi trophy =D Oh yea, that feeling when it popped up after Chie got status aliment =D I tried to speedthrough the second playthrough but since I had to prepare for Margaret, it took about 70 hours so... together, I spent 200 hours and the whole month on this. Which still stays my record. Platinum #7 Lone Survivor I think I'm one of a very few people who bought this game for full price =D I bought this with the fishing game because I wanted some Vita Platinum-able games since I had useable PSN card. I gotta say that this game is much easier than everyone makes it... Even though I pretty much screwed up 2 playthroughs so instead of 2, I actually played whole 4, I still finished this in 2 days and that's only because I didn't know the trick to beat White Ending boss =D Overall, I would say this is a very good game for its price and imo it conveys deep message. If we count Gravity Rush and Okami as J-games then this was the first Platinum that wasn't from a Japanese game. Platinum #8: Let's Fish! Hooked On! Like I said before, I bought this with Lone Survivor. Since it's originally a Japanese game, there was no chance I would miss it =D But... holy lord of grinding, this was some grind =D It was for me the first truly grinded Platinum, hopefully someone will also utilizes my mini-guide for World Championship =D The only thing that disappointed me was the absence of voice acting from the JP version, the grind would be much more pleasant with Shizuka Itou and Shimizu Ai. =D Platinum #9: Soul Sacrifice I needed one Platinum so Neptunia mk2 could be made a milestone and since I've slowly been gaining trophy in SS throughout the trophy hunting of other Platinums, I decided to seriously go for this one. It was a tough ride, since I completed this wholly in single player. I gotta say, it was hard but it's doable. Even though Werewolfs were scaring me in my dreams for a long while... even more than the 2 Medusa mission you had to do 2 times. I'm looking forward to SS: Delta I already purchased but still haven't started. Platinum #10: Hyperdimension Neptunia mk2 Since I started with the last Neptunia first, I decided to go 3 - 2 - 1 so the next one to go was mk2. I already knew the mechanism from Victory so I was a bit surprised at the little downgrade. Overall, this is by far the easiest Neptunia game, I finished it in 3 weekend days separated by 5 working days I didn't have PS3 with me. On the other hand, I had enough time to accept the gruesome ending and was able to continue 'till the Delph Platinum #11: Atelier Ayesha I'm actually very glade it's 11th Platinum even though I didn't plan that. Because it marks the beginning of my love for Atelier games. I've always adored those games but still didn't have a chance to try any. So when Ayesha was put on sale, I immediately went for it even though it was the only Atelier game without the dual audio (and yea, I was seriously missing Marina Inoue and Mariya Ise as Marina belongs to my TOP 10 seiyuu...) but I immensely enjoyed it and (maybe it's because it was the first one) it is probably my favorite Atelier game so far =) I'm totally planning to buy Plus version to make up for the missing Japanese audio. But other than that, I can't say anything bad about this one. This one is also very important because it was the first PS3 Platinum earned on LCD TV Platinum #12: Hyperdimension Neptunia And since the previous 2 were cleared it was high time for the first one to be cleared as well. I was seriously surprised with the battle system, item system, difficulty of boss characters so... it took a while to adjust. I was playing this through Christmas so I was more concerned about leveling Nep than about Christmas mood Platinum #13: Ni no Kuni Exam learning drug. That's what I call this game =D I was playing this throughout the exam period so I didn't have much time and could only play in the evening. But I could always look forward to sweet reward after learning After I heard this was made by Ghibli, I knew I had to get this game. And when it was on sale for ~10$, I knew this was a chance. Too bad it only took the award of the last trophy of 2013, I wanted to get the boat trophy at 00:00 Platinum #14: Rayman Origins January was a month of leftovers, I've been steadily earning trophies for Rayman for some time and finally decided to get all. It wasn't that difficult but the last level... oh my god... that level... it took me the whole day to get through it... And the boss, for a while I didn't know what to do with him But all's well now Platinum #15: Ragnarok Odyssey As I said, I've been clearing backlog in January and Ragnarok was the other on the list. I must thank many helpful people who helped me get through the story and all card farming through near. Without the community around RO, I wouldn't be able to get past Grendel =D And I really mean it, because if I didn't decide to get help in MP, I would have given up on Grendel's quest in Chapter 5. Like Werewolf in SS, here, my nightmare was Grendel =D I hope to meet the guys again in RO: Ace which like SS: Delta I bought but haven't started yet =D Platinum #16: Atelier Rorona Since I already owned the whole Arland trilogy, I decided to actually go plot-wise this time So since I wanted to have some more Atelier, Rorona was an obvious choice. Arland characters are really great, in terms of story, I think they are even better than Dusk trilogy =D Even though this is probably the most grindable Atelier, I still managed to finish it under week and I'm glad I belong to the TOP 50 fastest achievers here =D Platinum #17: The Walking Dead I got this as recommendation from a friend that it's easy Platinum and it's on sale. I knew only a bit about this series so I was also enjoying the story this game offered. I finished it in one day and if the rock-paper-scissor mini game wasn't an ass, I could have got 100% in under 20 hours as well =D But... I had to go to sleep :/ Platinum #18: Phineas and Ferb Across the 2nd Dimension I don't think I would ever play this game if I didn't win a 20$ Canadian PSN card and since there wasn't anything better on store in this price category and since I was actually watching this series and it even had Platinum I said... why not? =D And it was actually pretty enjoyable. Too bad I was sick so I was only playing once per 2 days. But what this game made too stupid was the crane game =D It was too damn random =D At least there was the second mini-game that had learnable algorithm. Platinum #19: Farming Simulator Ok... I bought this as a joke... But since Ni no Kuni's boat trophy was unlocked in 2013 and I wanted to have first trophy of 2014 among my friends, I had to find some quick trophy so... I got the honking one =D And then my OCD started so... there was no way I was going to let this be without Platinum and actually invested 40 hours into this =D The other reason was to quickly get some Plat so Totori could be another milestone. Well... don't be me anyways Platinum #20: Atelier Totori Rorona precedes Totori, Totori follows Rorona, and since I like to give all my JRPG series same treatment if possible, the next milestone was more than obvious =D Even though I didn't try, I sped trough this even more than Rorona =D And again, I'm in TOP 50 fastest achievers Story-wise I was more drawn into Totori than to Rorona, the mother searching adventure was really nice And... Chims Chims are cutest Platinum #21 + #22: Sound Shapes Oh yea, something that cannot be missing in any trophy hunter's list, right? =D To tell you the truth, the only reason I entered Sound Shapes train was to quickly get some quick easy (yea, I really thought... I mean... how could ~50% Uncommon trophies be hard, right?) trophies so Miku Platinum would be my l33t trophy =D I played it on Vita and... there hasn't been any other game that made me rage so much =D I'm seriously glad I played it on Vita because if I were to play it on PS3, my Dualshock would probably die... But now if I look back at it, I feel proud for clearing it. And... May the DLCs be coming forever! Platinum #23: Hatsune Miku - Project Diva f My beloved waifu =D I've been a Miku fan for as long as I'm anime fan =D I've always been a rhythm games fan and even finished the previous Diva title on PSP! So I knew what I was supposed to do here =) As with almost all digital-only popular J-games, I bought this on day 1 =D The Platinum was supposed to be l33t trophy (1337th one) but since I was doing it by the older system on PSNP when Vita Platinum wasn't the last but second last trophy, it was l33t only for a while =D Oh well... =D Platinum #24: Jak and Dexter - The Precursor Legacy Another game that was used to get trophies for Miku milestone. Actually... thanks to being stuck in one area, I gave up on this and decided to buy Sound Shapes =D After I finished Miku, I went back to this one and cleared the area without any problems Interesting how leaving the game for a while actually makes you better. Even though I believe I suck at platformers, I enjoyed this =) I would have enjoyed it more if I didn't spend 2 hours looking for one damned orb but that was my stupidity Platinum #25: Danganronpa 1 Dangan... =D One of J-series I've been very well accustomed since I played the fan translation on the PSP so knew everything story-wise and it fairly helped me get through this quickly =D I liked the school mode, though, because that was something that PSP version didn't have. =) Dangan is also very high in my favorite series and with Dangan 2 in my possession, there will surely be another "Reward" soon =D Platinum #26: Pro Evolution Soccer 2014 Since I'm also a football fan, I wanted to have some football game Platinum, since football games usually have many online trophies, this one surprised me with no online ones. And it was on PS+. So... I had no choice but to go for it =D It was actually pretty good, even though I was adapted to FIFA-styled controlling. More of these football games, please Interesting fact is that it was my first Ultra Rare Platinum, before it became Very Rare as it is now =D Platinum #27: Hyperdimension Neptunia Producing Perfection I can only say this... MORE NEPS! At this level, I'll buy anything Nep-related. I would even buy an eroge... ok, I could actually like that o.O I will be copying DarkPirate, but I will say it anyways. This game actually does more than moefies our beloved CPUs, it shows more about them and we can understand them more If only Plutie was part of this as well :/ Platinum #28: Master Reboot Don't ask me how I stumbled upon this because I have no idea I somehow found about this and since it had reasonable price, I tried it. And it was really decent horror-themed indie game (damn you, hospitals!). If indies like this were put on PS+, people would surely be more happy with it, even though it's just one afternoon game. Platinum #29: Mini Ninjas I bought this as used game and for some time neglected it. But since I needed one more Platinum for new milestone, the choice was obvious. And again, I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't think I would enjoy a game with collectibles but they weren't that hard to get so I could concentrate on the game. Again, very nice game that isn't long but gives you a good time playing it. Just the stealth trophy was a bit damned =D Good thing dying didn't reset the count Platinum #30: Atelier Escha and Logy Talking about milestones and... here's another one. Atelier games got another one =D And again, I bought this immediately after release =D I wasn't really that eager to play at first as it was first Atelier (for me, since I haven't played Meruru yet) that required 2 playthroughs for Platinum. But... everything changed when it got anime adaptation Similar to Neptunia anime, E&L anime got me so much I knew I had to start immediately =D And... I enjoyed this almost as much as Ayesha =) The chemistry between our main characters was so cute And I totally loved the ultimate weapons =D 2HKOing Ultimate Flameu was probably my strongest experience from playing Platinum #31: Need For Speed: Most Wanted Okay, this is another game that has been monitoring my growth as trophy collector. At first, I only played this to finish the "story" mode. But then as I was more growing (you can say leveling up ) as trophy hunter I was slowly coming back to this and slowly the trophy count was raising until... only online trophies and collect all xxx were remaining. So... I picked up my friend, we did the online trophies and I invested few days to collecting all remaining security gates and billboards with the help of interactive map and finally got the Platinum It was pretty symbolic as I got it after 1 year so it pretty much marked my first PSN year That's why it's pretty special Platinum for me. I will surely eventually buy the DLCs and get 100% on this. Because it deserves that. Platinum #32: Tekken Tag Tournament 2 For this, I have to thank 2 things. First were the time-consuming trophies in FMC and second was proposal of my friend who wanted to Platinum this but he wanted to do online trophies. So one day I said "Let's do it." so we did the online portion together and then roughly at the same time got Platinum. For a fighting game, I think I was pretty quick I'm very glad for this Platinum. If I don't count P4A, Tekken is my favorite fighting game and to thing I didn't have any Platinum or game with it... I'm ashamed And I'm proud of myself that I got this. Even though Tekken combos are easy to do, I know that I totally suck at fighters so the Combobot training was a bit tough for me =D Platinum #33: Football Manager Classic 2014 Now this is again something I'm proud of and surprised that I actually invested time into =D I've been playing Football Managers on PC for a long time so when one was released for Vita, I knew I had to buy it even though I was pretty prepared to give up on Platinum. But... as I was progressing, the trophies started to be pretty doable So I decided I will challenge this. And through numerous glitched trophies, I was able to get this Best in Business glitching due to Manager of the Year, 20 MOTY trophy only working with the patch... I'm seriously surprised I was able to endure everything Platinum #34: Sword Art Online -Hollow Fragment- SAO, my guilty pleasure =D I know that series isn't that good, but I simply can't stop loving it =D And this love went into 170 hours of grinding for this game's Platinum :DDDD Guess I'm kinda mad, last 2 Platinums are very long Ultra Rare ones =D Anyways, back to SAO. SAO -HF- conveys everything from the SAO anime/light novel perfectly. I truly felt connection to the characters and it was like the first time I was watching SAO I may even rewatch SAO because of it =D That's how strong impact it had on me And I'm glad I got to TOP 50 of first achievers of this hard but great Platinum. To end it... Silica best girl Platinum #35: FIFA Street Football is another of my big hobbies so after Platting PES, I wanted some FIFA Platinum as well. And since main FIFA games have too many online trophies and I've been fan of FIFA Street concept since the first one and since it was on sale, it was obvious buy =D I kinda regret not buying physical version since I saw it for the same price, but oh well. The game was fairly easy in terms of trophies and even though it took some time to get accustomed to the fact that tricks were more important than goals The only annoying trophies were the online cups but... I have to thank Raycon for being such a great buddy and helping me reach this Platinum I hope to return it to him eventually. =) With this, I completed hat-trick of Ultra Rare Platinums Platinum #36: Monster Monpiece Hm... should I say that this is the most perverted game I've played so far? =D Better start Senran Kagura soon Again, this was a game that I started due to my friend wanting to play it and get the online trophies out of the way. (He's a loli fan so it made sense ). I gotta say, considering this is a Compile Heart game, I immensely enjoyed this. Especially because Nep was there And since she is obtained at the beginning of the game, she will be with you throughout the game Another part of the game I enjoyed very much was the card battling. I'm a fan of Yu-Gi-Oh so I always welcome Japanese card games and this one was especially deep and well made. And now the perverted part The rubbing part was also fun, but after doing it over 300 times, it kinda gets tiring But still,, it was a part of this game, I knew about it, so I can't say anything about it And seiyuus were also top notch, Touyama Nao as Neff was the best =D Platinum #37: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 1 Neeeeppppuuuuu~ My milestone goal =D Well... Neppys are Neppys, always cutest =D I gotta say that IF did really good job in translating (read making references ). I gotta say that what I enjoyed most was remembering the differences between the original game and this one =D Since this one had Victory styled battle, I can't say much about the battle system but hell, the bosses were tweaked too much Even though there wasn't dual battle with Black Heart but all those turn-healing bosses were really annoying in the first playthrough =D But the second playthrough was really fun, and I totally loved the 100M grind I'm really crazy, right? Platinum #38: Mind-0 A game I've been following for a long while but took me a longer time to actually start it =D Everyone says that it's Persona clone and... it is =D Persona 3 + 4 character stereotypes, P1+P2 First Person Dungeon Crawling, yea, it was Persona and... I loved it =D But holy damn, that difficulty... I'm not surprised this is UR, because hell, the first 4 phases are hell. This game painfully reminded me of one thing. NEVER BATTLE LOLI BOSS! Collectible trophies were pretty fun but I'm a bit conflicted about the ending... I do hope they will make a sequel. Platinum #39: Senran Kagura Bon Appetit! It was bound to happen =D If you think about Japanese games, Senran Kagura is bound to come in the first 5 you mention =D This was my first Senran game so I didn't know much about characters but this game made me know them very much :DDDD I started it because I needed quick Christmas Plat and because rhythm games are my forte. But holy damn, the Finally trophy really took a load of me... It took me 2 days just to get it... and... few headaches as well =D But it was worth With this, I can call myself Senran Kagura fan Platinum #40: Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus If you end year with Senran, you have to start a new one with Kagura I bought LE for this and it arrived at around the same time as I wanted to start Bon Appetit so I was wondering which one should I start first. Probably I should have started Shinovi Versus first to understand a bit more but playing it after Bon Appetit has its magic =D I finally got even the backstory about our sweet shinobi and I'm ready for more! Because... you can never have enough pantsu =D Platinum #41: Transistor With this, my Platinum collection started for PS4 as well. This game is very special to me. I don't even know why, but I fell in love with it. So much that I had it long before PS4. Even though the game is very short, it still can grip you very tightly and won't leave you =D I knew from the start that this would be my first PS4 Plat and I did everything to achieve it Truly a worthy first one. Platinum #42: Sound Shapes (PS4) For some people, new console is about trying new games, getting overjoyed, for us, trophy hunters, it's... SOUND SHAPES TIMEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! Platinum #43: DRIVECLUB The first game I started on PS4 because I didn't have much time in the first half of January. This is pretty controversial game... =D I didn't experience the online fail fiasco so I can't evaluate it completely. I like racing games but I prefer arcade ones and since DRIVECLUB is more like hybrid between sim and arcade, it took some time to adjust. But still, I like the game Especially because the selection of cars is fantastic. And... for me especially because the selection of Ferrari cars was the biggest from racing games I played, Ferrari 430 Scuderia is my favorite car of all =D The only bad thing was the miss of any Lamborghini. Well... guess I have NFS for them =D Platinum #44: Worms Battlegrounds Platinum 4 in row for PS4 is platinum 44, you get it? =D Worms have always been one of my favorite series, I've played them when I was younger so it always makes me nostalgic whenever I play Worms. It wasn't particularly hard, I do remember harder campaigns, but it's Worms, I can't hate anything with Banana Bomb and... HALLELUJAH! (Holy Hand Grenade) =D Though, Sergeant Swift was hell of a pain to do =D Especially... when I couldn't count the correct time and I was like "wtf, it glitched?" =D I will probably give a shot to other Worms games as well in future. Platinum #45: Hyperdimension Neptunia ReBirth 2 And... I was back in my field. Vita-chan and... Neps! When you talk about middle Nep game, you must talk about Conquest ending, at least I had previous experience with it because it was completely, absolutely, wholly the same as in mk2. At least they softened it by adding Holy Sword Ending. Though... CH could have made it more original. This felt like True Ending on Conquest Route. Now, that was about Nep2, if we talk about ReBirth 2 specifically, we MUST talk about Stella =D The new installment that... many trophy hunters did not appreciate =D Fortunately, my Stella was pretty strong and I could place in TOP 5 fast achievers. This game also marks my first published guide and the Nep decision! I shall and I WILL be in the first TOP 50 achievers and fastest achievers for ALL future localized Nep games! Platinum #46: Hyperdevotion Noire: Goddess Black Heart From Neps to... Neps. Yea, that makes sense for me. This is a very special Nep game, it's not TRPG but a SRPG for the first time. I had experience with SRPGs so it wasn't a problem for me. And for the first time, the main character was Nowa-chan. I was and still am divided between Blanny and Nowa-chan on the second place of the original four but this game definitely made me incline to Nowa-chan. SHE WAS SO CUTE! Trophy-wise, this definitely was the hardest Neplist ever made, I'm really proud to be in TOP 10 first achievers. And since I was participating in information exchange, I decided to make a guide for this one as well. Which brings me to another Nep decision! I shall and I WILL make a guide for ALL future localized Nep games! Beware, IF, you WILL get my money =D Platinum #47: Motorstorm Apocalypse After finishing both Neps, I had nothing to live for... no more Neps were remaining so I didn't have motivation to start anything new so... I decided to clear some of the leftovers. And it started with this. Motorstorm wasn't something I myself started because it was my friend trying it on my account. And due to my OCD, I just couldn't leave it there. So I slowly started working on this. In about 4 settings consisting of getting 10 or so trophies, miscellaneous and story-related, I ended up on 40 trophies with offline portion finished and one day, I decided to get rid of the online portion but... that happened. The new PS3 update. And that update... killed Motorstorm servers, I was furious, just when I wanted to complete it, I was robbed of the opportunity. Fortunately, Evolution Studios did not abandon the game and thanks to all other Stormers who were tweeting really often, the problem was solved. I think the only time I was looking through Twitter (which I don't even have) more was when Operation Bluebird started. But the unfortunate thing did not end here. Stormers were happily playing but... I couldn't. For the whole 3 months. I couldn't go online on wi-fi, I couldn't go online through Ethernet, I was slowly starting to give up on this Plat but then... I got an idea! "What if it's my internet's fault?" I did not delay and decided to bring the PS3 to my retailed home and... it worked, I could immediately connect so I couldn't wait more. I finished the whole online portion in two days and then I said "Why not wait for Nowa-chan and get 2 plats in one day?", that did not work unfortunately but I did get the card trophy day after and finally obtained this long desired Plat. Platinum #48: Velocity Ultra Since I was on leftovers, this was the other one. The only game on Vita I haven't Platted (since Sine Mora doesn't have a Plat). I started it when I wasn't full-fledged trophy hunter so I didn't mind not having Plat for this, but I did like getting trophies. But... because of that, this game fall into oblivion. Because... I spent the whole day doing the minesweeper puzzle and... couldn't do it. I attempted it few more times between 2013-2015 with no avail. So the game stayed on 10% and E rank for quite long. And then the after Nep period came. To be exact, after ReBirth 2. Since I was waiting for Nowa-chan, I didn't particularly want to start something so I randomly started this and... I got it! I got the minesweeper trophy. And with that, there was no way I could pass the possibility of Platting this game. But... I seriously did not expect that kind of ordeal... Seriously, it was on par with Sound Shapes Death Mode and possibly even more =D The Critical Urgencies, that is. The game would be piece cake if it wasn't for Critical Urgency levels. Especially getting perfect for level 50 was something that I had to do in two settings. And when I thought everything was gonna be alright and I'll get 5 trophies in one second for perfecting the level 50, the in-game Plat (Ripley) trophy glitched. I couldn't believe that, after doing the hardest part, Plat will not unlock because of the glitch? No, I couldn't leave it that, I immediately started googling and fortunately, there was a thread on PST.org describing the same problem and... the solution. I immediately tried it and... everything was alright and I can be proud achiever of this prestigious Plat. Platinum #49: htoL#NiQ ~Hotaru no Nikki - The Firefly Diary~ This was a game I was following probably the most closely ever. For some reason, I felt a connection to this game when I first saw the trailer. And whenever new trailer with Maaya Sakamoto's narration, I knew this game must be mine. When the game was released, it also had a limited physical edition. I couldn't find that one, but I picked the physical edition anyways. This game deserved it. Then I was slowly delaying the game. But then Plat 50 was slowly approaching so... I needed a quick Plat, plus, thanks to blue_flare, the game got guide so I said, screw everything, nothing can stop me now. But.. this game isn't what would you expect =D This game is BRUTAL and seriously BRUTAL Lucky, Concentration and Cloud Hopping were killers and it took some neurons to get them =D Though, it was easier than what I expected from what I read... or maybe I was good at the game? To tell the truth, most deaths were from going for trophies =D And one more thing... the game... is CREEPY AS HELL. But definitely an awesome experience, and definitely left an awesome expression. I'm really happy to finish it under one day, I could stay in TOP 5 fastest achievers for some time :D Platinum #50: Kyokugen Dasshutsu ADV: Zennin Shibou Desu And here it is, the infamous Plat 50. I definitely wanted something special. First, it was supposed to be Danganronpa 2 which I seriously have to play soon xD But then, March came and... I was once again immersed in Zero Escape mood. I wanted to replay VLR but I didn't want to just breeze through it. This game is too important to me for that half-assed playthrough. But then, when I was talking with my friend, he asked "Why don't you buy Japanese version and Plat it?". That was it. That was the blink I needed. There was no way I would pass that opportunity. Especially with April approaching. Everything made perfect sense, everything was set up perfectly. There was no reason to hesitate anymore, there was no other choice. This had to be it. So when I bought it, I knew I had to combine it with my 2 years anniversary on PSN. So... I waited to start the game on the 4th April to celebrate the anniversary. And obviously, to have the same completion time in terms of days, it had to end on 10th and... what do you know? That was the day when the first trophy for VLR was earned :D Everything went brilliant. And I once again was absolutely immersed in the story and once again, I curse the Chunsoft for not trying to give Kotaro a chance. I can't live without to conclusion to this godly masterpiece. This game is more than a game to me. If there was any chance to do something more for ZE3, I would jump at it immediately and do it without questioning. This was the first fully Japanese trophy game I played (I played many other games on PC and PSP, though) and I confirmed to myself that I definitely can play Japanese games in their original form. If they are fully voiced that is :D Platinum #51: Freedom Wars I'm a big fan of hunting games so playing this was a no-brainer. It just took me some time to start =D And then while waiting for our anime con me and my friend decided to give this a spin =D Plus, it was right at the exam period so it was a perfect relaxation. Kinda interesting that I don't really like shooters but I only used shooting weapons in this game. In terms of Plat, I only had to grind the freaking AI Unit mk4, other than that, easy soloing. But what I really liked (and hated =D) was the story. Bea-chan was so cute, I'm strongly wishing for the sequel. I really want to see how it unfolds. Platinum #52: Steins;Gate OH YEA, I'M A MAD SCIENTIST, IT'S SO COOL SANAVABEEECH! My very special game :D I can't even describe how happy I was when I heard the game would be localized even on Vita. I still remember how I admired the Japanese version and was strongly wishing for localization. I didn't want to start the PC version because it didn't feel right but once this got announced, I immediately purchased the LE because of... Metal Upa. My second favorite thing after my dearest Mayushii :D And man, this is a fantastic game... even though I remembered literally everything about the main plot from anime, I still enjoyed everything. And those parts that weren't adapted? Brilliant. There's nothing more to add just... El. Psy. Kongroo. Platinum #53: Soul Sacrifice Delta Exams still in the full bloom, Waifu Wars finished, Steins;Gate nowhere is sight so... yea, obvious choice was obvious, another hunting grindfest. I was a bit scared of the amount of grinding but in the end, it wasn't THAT bad. I got pretty lucky with the SP bonus rumors so the faction trophies weren't much of a pain. All in all, with the imported save from SS, the game was much easier than its vanilla counterpart. Similia was such a cutie :D I liked the additional story they added. It was a pretty fitting addition. I still can't forget my hunting game love so I'm definitely gonna play more in the future. Platinum #54: Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 3 Neps with HanaKana? Not much to say about this, everything with Plutia WILL be my favorite game no matter what :D But this one was even more. I'm not afraid to say that this is the best Neptunia game created so far. VII may objectively attack this position but not for me. This will stay my TOP1 but together with Victory for... sentimental reasons of being first Neptunia and because of being longer than RB3 :D As usual, whole playthough of HanaKana character is all I need to love the game :D LONG LIFE, NEPS! Platinum #55: Catherine There is only one proper word for this... FINALLY! Oh man, Catherine... this is one game that's definitely tied to my gaming history. Sitting on my profile for two years of playing it for a few bits, I was slowly losing my confidence of ever getting this. But I've been slowly tackling the Babel stages until the last one remained and even though I've been attempting it many times I couldn't finish it until... one day after finishing RB3, I started thinking of 3000 trophies plan. I wanted to tie it to 60th Platinum and I even chose all the games leading to it, but there were few trophies missing so there was a hard choice. Catherine or P4AU. And this was the trigger. I just decided to tackle Catherine for real and... I did it. After getting the last Babel stage, I knew it was gonna happen. And even though the 9-5 was one hell of a ride, I can freely say... FUCKING BLOCKS, I CLIMBED THE SHIT OUTTA YOU! Platinum #56: Bastion Game from the Transistor developers? That was a must have =D I first wanted to wait for the Vita version, but I need to use PS4 sometimes, so if PS4 can have a game, I'll use the opportunity :D I didn't like it as much as Transistor because of being ARPG rather than TRPG but I definitely liked the game as a whole. Even though it felt like unpolished Transistor, the limiters... wait, idols, runs were pretty fun to do. I think I was a bit under-leveled since I didn't want to grind, I still finished it pretty quickly. More indies like this plz. Platinum #57: The Wolf Among Us Another step in 3000 plan, or at least I thought so. In the end, I was pretty immersed in the storyline. Even though I know it's a Telltale game so the choices won't matter anyways, it was a pretty fun read. I screwed up a few choices for the Fable trophies so I could have it in even faster time, but it was still a pretty quick and an enjoyable Plat. Though... I already felt the need for Japanese voices so instead of the previously planned Murdered, I went with the following Plat... Platinum #58: Final Fantasy Type-0 HD Oh my... seriously... oh my. I couldn't even imagine there could be a game where I could hate the gameplay but love the game so much at the same time. I'm seriously not that much on the action RPG system but this was multiplied by the crazy bosses that were thrown at me. But let's forget this, that's no longer important. I started the game for... as usual, HanaKana. It was my first Final Fantasy and I knew it would be my first since I stumbled upon its PSP version that wasn't localized. I immediately wanted to play it, but around that time, I also heard of the remake so I decided to wait for that one. And what do you know, it even got localization. And even though it wasn't for Vita as many fans wanted, I could get Deuce on PS4 in the glorious HD, Many people bought it for the FFXV demo, but that didn't interest me at all. I wanted Deuce. And... I got much... much... MUCH more. Not only the seiyuu NPCs which was like... fantastic addition. But I was able to get HER! Not only NPCs voiced by Kana, I was able to get HER NPC :D You can't even imagine how happy I was :D Throughout the game, I was seriously falling in love not only with the game but with Deuce herself. I didn't expect it. I seriously didn't. Since FF is a very western oriented JRPG, I seriously didn't expect to like a character so much. But all of that happened because of that ending... I was shocked, it really hit me hard. I couldn't sleep, I was replaying that scene, it hit me that hard. In a way, I was glad the Knowing Tags trophy glitched on me because I had a reason to return to the game. I came for the HanaKana and the all star seiyuu cast (having FukuJun, Kamiya, SawaMiyu, Sugita, Inoue Marina, Nakamura, Sakurai, Aki Toyosaki, Ami Koshimizu, Nana Mizuki in the same cast is godly) and I got one of the best stories I've ever read. The fact that I absolutely love anything related to the Four Holy Beasts (Suzaku, Byakko, Seiryuu and Genbu, but even without that knowledge, the story is phenomenal. Platinum #59: Atelier Shallie The conclusion to the Dusk trilogy or... not? I really liked the Dusk trilogy, I haven't finished Arland, but so far, I like Dusk more so I was pretty looking forward to the conclusion but... NOTHING, literally... NOTHING was solved o.O Okay, we got a little bit about Linca but everyone could guess that considering how the game operates. I did like the game and both Shallies (Stella > Lotte :D) and Miruca (HidaRina, yaaaay!) but all in all, Atelier without time system isn't the true Atelier... it really felt weird without it. I do hope the following Ateliers will bring it back... Without it, the chapters can be super short or needlessly long. And omg, dem true ending requirements, like... wtf? :D Y U NO NO COMPLICATED?! =D All in all, the game is good, but it disappoints as a conclusion... Platinum #60: Hyperdimension Neptunia U Action Unleashed 3000! LORD OF GRIND! NEP! I've planned this one as a finish line for the road to 3000 long time ago so I've been delaying playing this for a while. I've read so much about the lily rank grinding and I thought how bad that could be? But holy damn, it was much worse o.O Definitely the worse lily rank grinding I've even experienced in the Nep games =D But I guess it compensated the fact that this game is the easiest Nep game ever and probably the most pointless storyline =D It felt really forced and just to be there =D But well, I quite enjoyed the change from RPG to the action game. That was definitely a good point. And Misaka... I mean, Dengekiko, definitely one of the best new characters Nepverse introduced in the recent games. Didn't expect to be such a subtle Misaka rip-off =D Another one to mention is Iffy, it seems Lady Plutia trained her well :awesome: Also, can someone destroy the Neptral Tower? It's affecting the Nepverse too much xD Platinum #61: Atelier Meruru My last main Atelier game and the "conclusion" to the Arland story. Well... I say "conclusion" because as usual, the end is not much of an end, guess this is where Shallie took the idea to open end the trilogy =D But as usual, I immensely enjoyed this Atelier game =D Paradoxically, even though Meruru is the main character, this game made me like Totori :D Even so much, she became my favorite Arland alchemist and on par with Mimi, Kuu-chan and Escha on best characters list =D Since this required two playthroughs, I've been delaying it for a while, but I just knew I had to finish up all Ateliers on my summer break because if I did not do it, I wouldn't do it ever xD But damn, I'm glad. Thanks to the two playthroughs, I've spent some quality time in here =D Now onto Plus versions and Sophie to claim my rightful place as an Alchemy Sage :D Platinum #62: Sword Art Online Re: Hollow Fragment If you see a SAO game, you will see me, that is an universal truth =D I first did not plan to get through this 170 hours ordeal again because I thought it would be the same as the Vita version, but... then I saw that it had an additional Strea story and that was the first reason. But still not enough. But then I saw the price. Half of the Vita version? Possibility to finally play something on PS4? I had no reason to hesitate anymore :D So I dived into SAO once again :D As usual, I spent almost the same time as playing discussing :D So I guess I can add some more hours, but well, what else can one expect? :D We have to help each other. Especially if you have the previous version Platted as one of the first 50 =D That was also the reason why I finished this fairly quickly. With the save, the game was a walk in the park so I wanted to make it a bit more interesting and I decided to obtain the Externa Sword, finish the Grand Quest, do the heroine quests (since it was required for Memories trophy this time), maxing Sacchan affinity and other things I did not do in the Vita version. Too bad I couldn't get the Hollow Fragment accessory =D Maybe in the third remake xD Though... I have to mention the bugs... not only the random Debug Complete which has become a huge topic of discussion and I can't thank Skyes enough for giving me the push to try to get it once again =D It's only because of him I have this rare baby. But the most important... seriously, how could they screw up the optimization so badly... crashes, freezes, frame drops, MP screw ups... it was much worse than the Vita version... but... it's SAO, it's Silica-tan, I will forgive almost everything =D Platinum #63: Infinity Runner Okay, so... I collect HanaKana Platinums, fishing Platinums, J-games Platinums but even though I use my name joke fairly often (it's still god, but read as wolf xD), I haven't actually thought of collecting wolf-related Platinums. Even though I have the objectively best one, Okami HD, and even got Wolf Among Us 6 Plats ago. I bought this indie on a whim long time ago because it was cheap and I saw it had a Plat. Then I did not care about the game much and it just stayed on my PS4. After SAO, I felt like continuing on PS4 so I was searching for something. Then I stumbled upon the fact that this was made by the Wales Interactive, the studio that made Master Reboot. It was decided. I had to do it. Even though the game showers trophies at the start, I royally sucked on my first (easy!) playthrough. So I seriously had no hopes for higher difficulty, let alone no-death runs. But paradoxically, I started getting better by attempting no-death runs. And... it started being easy :D So I blazed through everything... only to be stopped at the 30 000 points in Infinity Mode. That was a hell of a work. But I did it and my Ookami collection can start for reals Platinum #64: Bakugan Battle Brawlers Another thing that would probably end up forgotten in the backlog for infinity (Plat 63 pun intended :awesome:) if there wasn't a trigger. This time, it was a trophy guide made for the sequel from two very common guide collaborators :awesome: so I was like... why not? I need something to play after SFIV boosting. I've been a big Bakugan fan, I have seen all seasons and even have a small collection of Bakugans :D (including Helios and Drago!) so I bought both games as soon as I was aware of them. All in all, the game is pretty fun, even though the Bakugan moving is crazy as hell and I avoided using it as much as possible =D All I needed is to disrupt opponent's throw anyway so why to care? xD I even liked the story since it made me recall some happy times I had with the cast, plus, Leonidas was such a great partner. But damn, trophy-wise, this is a grind... huge one. Man, how I hated Battle Royale and especially the Shooting Battles in them, there were just impossible if the CPU got support from both other CPUs =D Gotta thank this game, it re-ignited my passion for Bakugan once again! Platinum #65: Dengeki Bunko: Fighting Climax Originally, number 65 was supposed to be Bakugan sequel but... this long awaited game finally came out and I couldn't wait any longer =D Even though I would love a physical version, I just couldn't wait to take control of Tomoka and Miyuki :D And once I started, I just couldn't stop :D I... can't say anything bad about this. It's not a classical fighter, and I'm glad. No overcomplicated button combinations to perform combos, cute cast, that's how fighters should be! =D And definitely, the cast was the strongest part of the game and the main thing that should appeal to players. I absolutely loved Tomoka... yea of course, but... I meant the interactions between characters =D Even though as a fighter, there were some harder trophies, it was mainly grindy, getting 500 Reflection Guards and 50 Throw Escapes is a hell of a pain on Vita =D But again, I must mention Tomoka. Because she was so cute and skilled, it did not feel that bad =) The same goes for the biggest grind in the game, the 10M damage, or if you prefer, 1000 won rounds =D Thanks to Tomoka, it was bearable. Even though I actually started the game with thoughts about maining Miyuki, I just couldn't abandon Tomoka and using Biribiri for the Challenges was too delicious to pass up so in the end, I used all 3 of them =D But Tomoka the most. Once again, I've been reminded how much I love her and I will keep loving her in years to come. Platinum #66: Bakugan: Defender of the Core Second Bakugan game. I first planned to get both after each other but I couldn't afford to not play Dengeki =D Anyway, DotD is a bit conflicting for me. I love the New Vestroia cast, especially Spectra who is my favorite Bakugan character so I was pleased with the story part, but I didn't like the gameplay. Which is the most conflicting point. On one side, the actual brawling made the game much quicker to play (I even finished it under 3 days) but it just didn't fit with the Bakugan as a whole. Definitely prefer the concept of the original Battle Brawlers. Other than that, quick Plat is always welcomed =D Platinum #67: XBLAZE CODE: EMBRYO I remember importing the game like year ago together with Senran Kagura Shinovi Versus LE because it did not have a physical release here and what do you know, it took me almost one year and 25 other Plats to play it. Guess I somehow felt it. Felt that it would not be that great. I mean, as a whole, the story was interesting and I definitely liked the girls (still can't decide between Mei and Es :D But probably Mei-chan :D) but OH MY FCKING GOD, Touya was such a pain of a protagonist. I seriously wanted to punch that guy more than few times. Seriously, without him as a protagonist, I would enjoy the game much more. Heck, the most enjoyable thing was the Gag route =D That actually saved the whole game. Damn, that was a good laugh =D But it does have one privilege. It is definitely a big contender to be the most complicated pure VN Plat. Similarly to Steins;Gate, some trophies are hell of a pain to get with the mindset that VN trophies are fairly easy to obtain =D And I gotta give one more plus point, I definitely want to start Blazblue series because of this =D Now, onto sequel. Platinum #68: Sword Art Online: Lost Song Silica-taaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaan! Silica-tan with nekomimi! Okay, normally =D I'm pretty much SAO games ambassador (almost as much as Vita-tan one :awesome:) now, so getting Lost Song was priority of November =D Fortunately, I had it pre-ordered for a while so I was just anxiously waiting for it to arrive. And man, this was a blast =D If I omit the annoying flying fights against multiple enemies due to screwed up lock-on feature, I loved the game, I loved the flying and I loved playing as Kirito-kun again =D Even though it was exponentially shorter than both Hollow Fragments, Reki once again showed that he pours his heart into writing the non-canon stories as well. And... Yuuki. Seriously, if Silica-tan wasn't so damned cute, Yuuki would be totally my favorite (yea, maybe seiyuu bias strikes again, but how I can not love Aoi Yuuki character :D). And even though her and Asuna's event was a complete copy of Mother Rosario arc, it was able to make me cry again. Heck, I even liked Asuna here =D Seriously, I guess the SAO cast is starting to grow on me =D And if Reki's gonna add even more cute girls like Rain, more lolis like Nanairo, I won't be able to resist :D Platinum #69: Danganronpa 2: Goodbye Despair Finally one would say, but I've been saving it :D Buuuuut... it actually ended up a bit like Xblaze... I really tried to, I really did, I really tried to like it as much as the first one, but I just couldn't. The improvements made on mini-games actually made them much worse to play. I had much more trouble with them here. "Improved" Gambit and Rebuttal Showdown can go screw themselves, literally. On the other hand, I definitely enjoyed Logic Dive. I wouldn't mind if they made a game solely out of that =D Now, what to say about cases/trials... I gotta say I was pleasantly surprised that this time the killers weren't obvious right from the start and the debates actually had a point. Now the biggest reason. The casts are incomparable. Dangan 1 had much better cast, even though Dangan 2 is pretty much all-stars seiyuu-wise =D And that brings me to the reason why I can clearly say I loved the game. Chiaki. Even though I had an outlook on the game's story and knew everything about her, chapter 5 was... torture. And the last thing to do on that chapter's trial easily occupies the top 3, maybe even no.1 of my toughest gaming experience. It made me realize one thing. I'm madly in love with HanaKana characters. I can't bear to see them suffering, I enjoy just being with them, I enjoy listening to them and they are the most important thing in any game. All in all, I LOVE CHIAKI. Oh, and... Monokuma >>>>>>>>>>>> Monomi. Platinum #70: Ro-Kyu-Bu Naisho no Shutter Chance SHOUGAKUSEI WA SAIKOU DAZE! Yea, I cannot start with anything else than the signature phrase =D Very special game deserves a special milestone. So, that's why number 70 and also start of my Japanese (or unreadable) run. Actually, I was worried. This was my first truly Japanese game (because I can't really count JP VLR as I pretty much remember the whole game (who wouldn't after playing it 3 times =D) so there was no info lack. I knew exactly when trophies pop, what to do for trophies but... this definitely wasn't the case here. Not only I had to translate the trophies to actually know what I should do (maybe I should be glad my first game was ending based one =D). But obviously, the biggest hurdle was finding a guide. Obviously, such a game cannot possibly have a western guide. It's neither really skippable game, nor easy Plat to get. For that reason, I had to dive, dive into the world of Japanese sites, Japanese forums and so on. And I was able to find it :D Find a complete Platinum playthrough. After that, I knew nothing would stop me from getting this. Because what else could I want from a game? :D Lolis and HanaKana, not to mention my other two top loli seiyuus, Ogura Yui and Hidaka Rina =D Seriously a 45/40 game made specifically for me =D This also reflects my first playthrough. which was obviously Tomoka one. For Tomoka I decided to play like a VN should be played. Not only I carefully read ALL lines (I probably had to charge my phone almost every day considering the amount of Google Translator use :D), I also read Subaru's lines aloud =D And that was SO FREAKING AWESOME! Actually listening to girls answering really draws you to game. :D Especially if the answering side is HanaKana loli :awesome:. I even enjoyed the basketball mini-game this game presented, but again, lolis in chibi form? TOO FREAKING MOE! :D But this game actually presented two important facts, if game has HanaKana heroine that is available from the start, the remaining routes feel a bit lacking... well, that's HanaKana love for you =D The second being my Japanese. I was literally shocked how much I actually knew and how much I was able to absorb. The amount of kanji I absorbed and knew was definitely surprising. Platinum #71: Love Live School Idol Paradise vol.3 lily white After realizing dream of playing with lolis, I decided to fulfill another one, Love Live one. I've been a HUGE Love Liver since the first anime (that also introduced me to the best anime subbing group, FFF) and even more when I one day found out that the mobile game has been released in the west. And since the first event of that version, I've been an avid player and my love for Love Live reached higher heights. So when I realized LL has been released for Vita, I knew I had to pick up them. And when I found all of them for 25 bucks on eBay? There were no more doubts. I had to have them. Plus, they fell right into the unreadable run. The only remaining decision was to choose the order. From 1 to 3 or from 3 to 1? Since the trilogy has system data cross save, I knew the first game I choose will be the one I spend most time in. So the decision was easy. Umi has been my best girl right from the start and I've been starting to like Rin-chan more and more even to the point that she reached #3 ranking =D Even though I like Nozomi the least, those two were enough to convince me to start with the last one. Even though the game is average rhythm game, it didn't matter to me. What mattered were the songs. Even though I hear them almost everyday in School Idol Festival, I was still moved when I heard them again. Not to mention another story with the girls. Love Live for the win! Forever should they stay! Platinum #72: Love Live School Idol Paradise vol.2 BiBi In any case, the second game I planned to play in either order. BiBi is probably the most popular unit but I'm pretty neutral to them. Obviously, Nico is Nico, you can't hate her =D She's such a cutie =D But both tsunderes are... well... =D Maki-chan is great but Eli feels way too perfectly made and she feels like you have seen her tons of times in other anime. Anyway, since this was the second game, I had clear data from vol.3 available so I wanted to make this quick. Unfortunately, I've been sick one day and had to postpone playing to another day. Oh well, sometimes it happens. Also, this game also brought my silver count (greetings, Sound Shapes) to 1000 :D And obviously, milestones should be planned! And what better trophy to celebrate than a song trophy? And it was my favorite song from this game, Arifureta Kanashimi no Hate. Platinum #73: Love Live School Idol Paradise vol.1 printemps And the last one. If printemps didn't have Kotori-chan (my forever #2), I would say they are very, very, meh unit. But because Kotori-chan was there, the unit is great :D Since it was the last game in trilogy, there was no need to prolong it anymore and fortunately, it worked this time =D 4 hours Plat without skipping is pretty nice =D Since the previous game also had a small milestone, this one deserved one as well. And... it got one. My level up trophy to level 23. And what better trophy than the best unit girl, Kotori-chan? :D With this game I was also able to complete all three games in similar but different way. vol.1 ended with bronze trophy, vol. 2 with silver and vol.3 with gold, did I plan it? Obviously =D Platinum #74: Ore no imouto ga konna ni kawaii wake ga nai - Happy End After a trilogy of easier games, it was time to test my Japanese once again. This time, COMPLETELY, without guide. This time, I couldn't find anything. Fortunately, this time, I was able to find players that were glad to share their experience. Massive props to Dyshana and TimePulse for providing all info needed. In fact, I was quite worried since I couldn't find anything, but in fact, it was just a massive grind.HanaKana route syndrome worked again =D After I finished my beloved Kuroneko, the other routes felt really more like a required grind. But at least I was doing it for the girls =D Even though Manami was there as well... That one was too much... I seriously wanted to skip everything... seeing her again was really disturbing... But back to good things. this one is more similar to Ro-Kyu-Bu than I would expect =D Especially with the photography. I was really glad I could have a break from photographing after this game, lol. It was definitely nice seeing all the characters again in a non-canon story where you actually could end up with Kuroneko as it should happen :P Talking about Kuroneko, I can't even express HOW CUTE SHE IS in this game =D And those scenes with Hinata :D HanaKana talking with HanaKana, oh god, I could explode from overdose of HanaKana =D Platinum #75: Mahouka Koukou no Rettousei Out of Order ONII-SAMAAAAAAAAAA! One of few important milestones that will be visible for a long while? What else could it be? :D Mahouka is my life. With the game, I have experienced all forms Mahouka offers. And I enjoyed all of them, including this one. More than worth #75 =D Just way too few voice acting :/ Even though many people could complain about the lack of content (I would too), lack of voice acting and subsequently HanaKana, was worse for me... At least battles were fully voiced =D Engrish attacks for the win! PHONON MEEEESAAAAAAA! :D And this game made me appreciate Tear more than before. Phonon Maser power too strong =D And I love Honoka even more =D But this is solely because of AmaSora =D It's actually both ways. I started liking Amamiya Sora because she voiced Honoka and started to like Honoka because she's voiced by Ten-chan =D Novel/manga Honoka is so-so, but game/anime Honoka is MOE! :D But in terms of character pool (ignoring obvious Onii-sama, Mayumi and Miyuki) I was delighted to see Pixie =D Pixie is such a cute character :D Not to mention Touyama Nao =D This anime/game has too many awesome seiyuus :D And obviously, seeing animated Lina was a blessing as well =D Hopefully MADHOUSE delivers S2 soon. Ideally with Taketatsu Ayana + Aoi Yuuki/Ogura Yui as Mayumi imoutos =D One does not simply have enough Onii-sama! Platinum #76: Robotics;Notes Originally, this was supposed to be a readable game and unreadable run should have stopped with Onii-sama, but... how it usually is, if I found a cheap JP game on eBay, I pick it up =D And this was the case with R;N as well. I immensely enjoyed its anime adaptation. The whole cour was brilliant so rank #2 of that cour was definitely high. And after playing Steins;Gate, I knew I had to play this one as well. I summed my thoughts here so let's omit things related to that. VN definitely did not disappoint. I definitely felt the same chills as from watching anime. And even though I feel that R;N works better as anime, not to mention my parallel read/watch, I loved this VN. Seriously, people who skip this for easy Platinum miss an awesome story. But I seriously need to play Chaos;Head... thanks to the crappy anime adaptation, I've got holes in the whole trilogy =D Maybe I shouldn't have played 2nd and 3rd without the first one, lol. Well, maybe my wish of seeing C;H localized will be fulfilled and the waiting will be worth =D Platinum #77: Megadimension Neptunia VII The first installment of Neptunia on PS4. I was quite skeptic about the game... I mean, it was supposed to be sequel to Victory but no Plutia? Not to mention coming to PS4. And my worries escalated when IF announced Japanese voices would be DLC only. Since I already had imported version, I had to download the DLC from NA store I thought there would be no problems but... PS4 screwed up! I had to restart it a few times before it actually started working... Ugh, that was some BS. Fortunately, after starting, the game pleasantly surprised. The story was pretty well done considering it was Neptunia one =D I still think the merged EXE+SP gauge wasn't that good of a feature but the big bosses were pretty well done. I wouldn't say it's absolutely the best Nep game ever made but it was still a nice experience =D Screw the RNG cards, though. Plat #78: Tales from the Borderlands My February 29 Platinum and a first of the 'road to #100' =D I have very limited knowledge of Borderlands as a series so I can't comment on the setting in terms of Borderlands but as a standalone series, I quite enjoyed it. Even though I got a crash in chapter 4 which almost gave me an heart attack because I only had 2 hours to finish it before February 29 end xD In the end, I was able to finish it but it was a close call. There's never much to say about Telltale games actually... you know your decisions do not matter, you know the story ends up in the same point, you know they just milk popular series but you can't help but to like them =D Platinum #79: Game of Thrones And another Telltae and another of 'road to #100'. Similarly to the Borderlands, I have no knowledge of GoT xD I neither watch the series nor watched any movie. But it was quite enjoyable It actually looked like decisions actually mattered a bit. I wonder how they handle it in the season 2. Platinum #80: Sora no Kiseki FC EVOLUTION The first one. I've been waiting to play this game for years. :D After first playing the game on PSP, I instantly fell in love with the series and its characters. And when I heard the game got ported to Vita with trophies AND voice acting? I knew I had to get them. And holy damn, did I enjoy it :D The game was so fantastic... just like I remembered. Even with minor tweaks to the gameplay, it still felt like the original Sora no Kiseki :D Even though I screwed the playthroughs so much I had to actually play the game 4 times (screw you, Valkyrie) but it was worth :D But only after one playthrough I realized... that there is no RPG series like Kiseki. There is no BETTER RPG series than Kiseki. After getting the Platinum, I knew there was no other way. I WILL get all Kiseki Plats even if it kills me :D I need to experience the story completely. And just playing them on PC is not sufficient :D A beautiful 4000th trophy and the best I could get :D Platinum #81: Persona 4 Dancing All Night Another installment of Atlus' milking cow. This time, a rhythm game. I'm a bit conflicted about this game... it was definitely a great fit into my 'Vita appreciation run' that started with Sora no Kiseki FC but as a standalone Persona game, it is quite lacking. The rhythm mechanics is very simple but with immense difficulty jump on highest difficulty... I didn't even bother with it as it would make me hate the game, that's for sure xD And in terms of story...? Meh at best. Not to mention cutscenes that were VOICED! EVEN ON MUTE! SERIOUSLY, WTF?! I DON'T WANT MY EARS TO BLEED! It was pretty annoying to turn off Vita's volume to save my ears. Despite all that, seeing dancing Nana-chan was worth :D Platinum #82: XBlaze: Lost Memories Oh god, seriously... oh god. I'm a type of guy that loves VNs and loves completing series so even though I didn't particularly enjoy first XBlaze (apart from gag route xD), I went for this one. And oh boy, this... was... SO BAD! 75% of the game was just a rehash of the previous game and the new storyline...? If there was some, I would love to see it... The only good part was Nobody. Nao Toyama made the game at least bearable. I actually expected proper sequel and not this enhanced remaster. Sometimes I wish I would not be that sturdy in completing everything xD Platinum #83: Amnesia Memories My first otome VN. Yea, I went into that world. Must have been the influence of XBlaze. What to say. It's a bit hard to rate otome when you are not the target audience. xD As a VN it was pretty average. Some routes were nicely done, some were worse. Same with characters. But the MC (surprisingly, I named her Kana :awesome:). The actual true ending route was one of the better ones, I really felt the connection between those two. The setting was interesting, but I believe otome will work better as anime for me =D Well, that always depends on sales, though. I may sometimes dive into another but probably not soon =D Platinum #84: Gravity Rush Remastered Kat-tan in HD! From 1st game ever played to 100th completed. That's the story of me and my Kat :D Since the game is pretty much the same as Vita, I would be repeating the same things about loving Kat :D I did feel it was a bit too easy, though. One of joys of the Vita one was overcoming trials. On PS4, they were cleared almost immediately. I'm just a bit sad I didn't finish it under day to be in the fastest achievers =D While I'm still sad about GR2 being PS4-only, hopefully this was enough practice to make GR2 great :) Now the waiting starts! Wonder what kind of milestone GR2 brings? xD Platinum #85: Playstation Vita Pets Even though the Vita run was broken with the previous PS4 game, but original GR was on Vita so my 'Vita appreciation run' still continued. That's why I started this. Another game that fully utilized Vita's features. It was a pretty cute one actually. Talking dog? Why not =D Even though the dog was pretty annoying in the end. Despite all the collectibles, it was a pretty fun run. If anything it reminded me that there still were Vita games that used Vita's features. Platinum #86: Hitman GO Definitive Edition The win for all trophy hunters. Quick and easy Platinum. But damn, did it remind me to never ever play AAA games on Vita. The game actually broke my Vita so much I had to run safe mode for the second time ever. In the end, I cross-saved to PS4 to finish the main game and then cross-saved back to Vita to get the last trophies. Easy Plat it was, but it will forever stay as a game that hurt my poor Vita-tan. Never again, never again. Platinum #87: Tearaway And the final game that completed 'Vita appreciation run'. Tearaway is a fantastic game that truly shows what Vita can do. Some things were a bit annoying (like turning the Vita only to not see anything xD) but it added to the magic of the whole game. I was pretty worried first due to amount of missables this game has, but in the end, everything turned out okay. The game was SO CUTE! The art style was simply brilliant. If I could easily afford some papercrafts, I would definitely go for some of the models :D I'm definitely intrigued how PS4 remake ends up. Hopefully not as easy as GRR :D Platinum #88: Life is Strange One of my 2016's disappointments. I was really looking forward to this game. Especially considering how highly it was praised by everyone. I really expected mind-blowing brilliant story. And... what I got? 1) Overamericanized setting that was so incredibly foreign I simply couldn't get into it. 2) Time travel without any consequence. 3) ERASED-level predictability The game fails as a time-traveling story, the game fails as a drama story and the game fails in surprise factor. When the big revelation happen I was like 'Hey there, ******', I was strongly wishing they wouldn't go that way. From that moment, I knew the whole story goes down the toilet. And everything was topped with the nightmare section. Whose idea was to put such BS into the game... I spent hour or so pointlessly wandering without any purpose before I finally finished that section. I did like the mechanics of rewinding time to change your choice and the yuri between the two main characters but that alone couldn't save the game for me. Platinum #89: Sound Shapes NA PS4 SOUND SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPES! SOUND SHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPES! 4/6 :awesome: At least there's some use to PS4. Platinum #90: Date a Live - Rinne Utopia I first did rehab after LiS with Sound Shapes and then this. And boy was it the best rehab I could get :D This story was phenomenal. It immediately erased any trails of bad aftertaste after LiS. Even though I had to play many routes to get my beloved Rinne's route but it was worth. In fact, working towards HanaKana heroine may actually be better for me since I feel I work for her rather than just for the Platinum. :D The emotions conveyed throughout her route were incredible. Seriously, HanaKana heroines are a gift to the mankind :D Platinum #91: Naruto Shippuuden Ultimate Ninja Storm 2 Been a while since someone started a game for me. And this is one of them. At least that made me finally remember to remove my account from friend's PS3. Welp, for the sake of completion percentage, I had to start a Naruto game. At least story-wise it was the part I still watched and quite liked. So it was not that bad. I will probably not go for other Naruto games but at least one won't hurt =D Platinum #92: JoJo's Bizzare Adventure - All-Star Battle From shounen to shounen. I was continuing my PS3 streak with this quickie. On contrary to Naruto where I actually watched/read about half of the story, I had pretty much zero knowledge of JoJo. Apart from constant talk from one of my friends who is quite obsessed with JoJo. Even though the game is really quick and short, I got a nice look at story of each part. Not to mention hearing Miyuki Sawashiro. :D I actually enjoyed it much more than I thought. Definitely worth purchase. Especially considering this was pretty much start of my NA purchases that are much cheaper xD Platinum #93: Far Cry 3 Aaaand another game I did not start and was forced to complete. Even though there was one time where I was on verge of starting it in order to help friend with boosting. Well, in the end, it actually happened. 2 years later xD I don't play FPS or other shooters because I simply don't like them. But this one was different. There was actually a story that... somehow worked well. It did not make me change my stance towards shooters but it was pretty relaxing killing some baddies with my trusty sniper rifle. =D Platinum #94: Danganronpa Ultra Despair GIrls Needed some Vita in my life so I went for the last Danganronpa I was missing. And... another shooter. At least I had a practice, lol. I wasn't expecting much but Aya Uchida protagonist was SO CUTE! Not to mention Kotoko-chan! I just couldn't not like the game =D (Even though other characters were annoying as hell). Not to mention, its story is becoming important with D3 E4. It was a bit weird playing this kind of Danganronpa, but beating crap out of Monokumas warms one's heart :D Platinum #95: Heavy Rain And disappointment number 2. Once again, highly acclaimed and hyped story driven game. And... once again. Failed miserably. I could somehow tolerate the unskippable credits and scenes (what's the point of seeing the same scene all over and over in the same speed?), MAYBE even the crazy amount of QTE if the story wasn't such a disappointment. The game wants you to play detective to a mystery story and then serves this kind of end? Just no. If you have to break the first rule of detective stories to write a story, it does not end well. I did appreciate how characters were written since they were believable but I can't accept the ending. Platinum #96: Beyond Two Souls For some reason, I always end up liking the next game I play after a disappointment =D And the same holds here. Beyond Two Souls is supposedly inferior to Heavy Rain but no way. I enjoyed it much more. Supernatural story, non-linear telling, cute girl, right in my alley =D Even the amount of QTEs was smaller this time. Yup, in the end I could not give up on interactive movies =D Platinum #97: Last Rebellion Another long time leftover. I actually started this game 2 years ago but I had literally NO idea how to play it. I was always short on CP, couldn't defeat even the base mobs and had completely no idea where to go and what to do. But after finishing both interactive stories I knew I needed some Japan. And wanted to continue on PS3 so I was like... 'why not give it another shot?'. And this time, I found some walkthroughs, realized I missed a CP recovery skill and after that, everything went well. I was just disappointed this game had no form of Japanese audio, but there wasn't much of a story anyway. Glory to all Prinnies that were killed in this deed. Platinum #98: Unravel Oh yea, this game. I immediately fell in love with this game the first time it was announced on E3 2015. It was a clear winner for me. I knew I had to get my hands on it soon. So, immediately after it got 50% sale, I bought it and incorporated it into 'road to #100' as I wanted to equal the Platinum count between Vita Plats and PS3+PS4 ones :D And man, was it beautiful. I got teary at the end. Yarny is SO CUTE, so cute. I could have done without the no-death runs. Experiences like this always warm my soul :D Platinum #99: MegaTagdimension Blanc + Neptune VS Zombies And the last step towards the number 100 :D And what else but Neptunia could it be? :D This game could be summarized into two words Plutia + schoolgirls. Enough reason, insta love :D Even though it took some time to get Plue =D At least thanks to her OPness, the ultra grind was at least bearable :D Joshikousei wa saikou daze! Oh wait, that only goes for shougakusei :D In any case, jk Neps were so freaking moe :D I would definitely like more spin-offs where they cosplay :D Not that grindy, though. Platinum #100: Zero Time Dilemma And the reason for everything. Reason for living the first 6 months of 2016 and reason for the road to 100 :D From the moment it was announced on Anime Expo 2015 on 9th July, I knew it was going to be my #100. There could be nothing else. Just nothing else. I knew it was going to be tough but for a game I spend whole long 3 years waiting for? Totally worth every trophy. Two games I spent 3 years waiting for Zero Time Dilemma and localized Trails in the Sky SC both had info/release in 2015 with ZTD release in 2016 =D I first planned to play the game on release date but unfortunately Amazon screwed up LE pre-orders so in the end I had to buy a digital version in preparation for... 10000th post :D Everything was carefully planned and everything worked brilliantly :D Some people were worried if Uchi could satisfy all the hype but I believed. And I was right :D Obviously, we all know puzzles were much easier but... Zero Escape is about story. And saying the story and the closure was phenomenal would be an understatement. Definitely a GOTY for me, I haven't enjoyed anything else as much as ZTD in 2016 and I know I won't :D Simply said, the best 22 hours of my life :D Game that made my life complete :D Platinum #101: Ys: Memories of Celceta Something like... filler game :D I first wanted to give Amazon a chance to deliver my physical version so I decided to pick this one because... of another plan :D In the end, Amazon did not deliver the game in time so I used it as a stepping stone for trophy #5000 :D And because the trophy #5000 was obvious from the start, why not playing another Falcom game in preparation for that? :D And oh boy, did I enjoy this :D Even though I don't like Adol that much, Karna and Calilica were SO CUTE! So freaking cute! :D They made the game more than worth :D Even though it wasn't Kiseki-level, the story was very well written. Falcom really delivers. Always. Actually... even in their Extreme playthroughs... xD While I still do prefer turn based JRPGs, there's nothing wrong with ARPG from time to time =D Now onto Lacrimosa, hopefully XSEED-sama delivers soon =D *Not actual Platinum image, but... we have Estelle in Plat #80 xD Platinum #102: Sora no Kiseki SC EVOLUTION And 1000 trophies later, another Sora no Kiseki. After ZTD, another dream came true. I waited long 3 years for localization of PC/PSP version and now I even finished the enhanced version :D And it was an incredible experience. Everyone I loved about FC was multiplied here. It is correctly seen as the best Kiseki game. There's simply no way one cannot be affected by the power of Kiseki :D This is definitely the only game where I was so moved just from hearing BGM. I could easily stop doing things and just listen to the BGM. Hoshi no Arika, Gin no Ishi instrumentals and the Opening. Literally the best composition I have ever heard. Sorry, Meguro-san, but Kiseki outdoes even Persona in musical department. This time, I was more careful and only had to do 2 playthroughs to Plat. Even though... I had to repeat the last chapter 4 times xD Well, I did enjoy the Sora no Kiseki =D Zero Escape still stays as my no.1 series but Kiseki, Kiseki is no.1 RPG series no doubts :D And SC is what I would call a perfect JRPG. Seriously. 100%. And hearing Ren... oh my, that was so sweet. She's such a sweetie. I can't wait until Zero/Ao to finally get her happy ending :) But first onto TC! I beg of you, readers, please, play these games. This is an experience you can't afford to miss. Especially if you like Sen series. Sora is even above that. Platinum #103: Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magika: Battle Pentagram Spoiler Aoi! Aoi! Aoi! The character that defines Aoi Yuuki and character that made me love Aoi Yuuki the game. Madoka game is quite fun. I played one Madoka game on PC (Grief Syndrome) and this one somehow reminded me of it. Anyway, I bought this together with Ro-Kyu-Bu as LE and it took ~30 Plats to play it, lol =D I really liked the story this game presented but... what else can I expect from Urobutcher, right? That guy is brilliant =D I was quite surprised Homu was pretty much the weakest character despite being MC and... KYOKO IS OP! Seriously, Kyoko was the biggest surprise =D Madoka being god is obvious but Kyoko being 2nd strongest character... wow. And it definitely revived some memories... especially witch fights and... Octavia. The Japanese here was actually pretty elemental (or was it because I played it after Kiseki? xD), too bad the grind was a overdone a bit. However, I will always be connecting this grind with Olympic Games and beautiful plat image so... in the end not a bad memory =D And I'm not even talking about all the yuri :awesome: Who says Madoka is not yuri? :awesome: QB is cute Platinum #104: The Lord of the Rings: War in the North Spoiler Ah, been a while. Another game I didn't start and been on my profile for years. This was one of the first games that cafe master started on my account and I've been avoiding it like plague so it stayed on E rank for a long while. Once (probably thanks to competition to improve ranks), I decided to finally get rid of E rank. Slowly, I've been raising the trophy count and slowly I've started realizing the game isn't that bad and I just said to myself... Screw it, I'll just plat it. However, the game wasn't making it easy for me. First, it glitched in chapter 6, I was slowly losing hope, but fortunately, I was able to fix the bug and finish the playthrough. Since I had two more to go, I decided to switch to Dwarf aaaand, that was the best decision I could do. I obliterated everything with him and the 2 additional playthroughs weren't that bad. But then... the biggest bane in existence appeared. Online trophy. And not regular one. One that required coordination between 3 players! So... obviously, I went to boost it. After 2 unsuccessful boosting, I was once again losing hope but then... we were almost giving up for a day aaaand... the trophy glitched and popped for us despite not actually fulfilling the condition. I was so overjoyed I immediately deleted the game =D Screw online trophies Platinum #105: The Talos Principle Spoiler Glorious, fantastic. Really brilliant. This game has been on my radar for quite a while. I love puzzle games and this looked like a perfect hit. I even tested it on NVDIA Shield and was convinced. I bought it long time ago but for some reason, I couldn't bring myself to starting it. And that was really a mistake. The game was exactly what I expected and even more than that. The game that is. Platinum is really crazy. Getting all stars and Gehenna? Wow. Just no... if there wasn't a guide for these two things, the Platinum would be Ultra Rare for sure. What you had to do for some stars was incredibly out of box. Really props to both the developers and those who were able to solve these puzzles. The same for Gehenna. The puzzles here (DLC on PC version) were a bit overkill compared to the main game. All in all, fantastic game to play, but requires guide if you want to Plat it without losing mind =D Platinum #106: The Asterisk War: Phoenix Festa Spoiler LNssssssssssssss! My biggest source of loved anime =D Literally anything that comes out of LN is a win in my book xD And Asterisk is pretty much the same as SAO, it's SO BAD it's good =D And I love it. And I love Kirin-chan. Kirin-chan so cute, Kirin-chan so best girl =D Anyway, this game is pretty much template LN adapted game. Quick story addition concentrating on waifus. And I like that =D The routes were really fun (with Ayato at least), custom character was pretty meh but it was much easier to obliterate everything. Though, even with Ayato and Ser-Veresta (FUTATSU MIZUCHI! SHURAZUKI! Yea, that was fun to shout) everything was out before starting xD All of that was fun. Fun battle system, fun dating system, fun waifus. But the plat... HOLY SHIT DAT GRIND! I finished pretty much everything but the skill grinding in 20-25 hours. And then... I spent freaking 50 hours grinding the skills. Sure, it was my fault I didn't realize Ayato couldn't get the trophy so I grinded one week for nothing but still. At least the game is still steady in UR zone. Hopefully that is not going to change even if I make a guide xD Platinum #107: Adventures of Mana Spoiler After Asterisk, I had to do something easy and quick. And re-living the time where JRPGs didn't need to be overwesternized and overgraphiczed (the hell is this word? xD). Seriously, this is more than enough. Have chibi characters, flat world map (plz no so confusing as here, lol xD) and give it a story. That's how JRPG should be! Touching story, beautiful characters (Chocobo SO CUTE!) and... grind =D Yea, grind =D Something I could do without but... you can't have JRPG without grind. Quick, easy, cute. What can you want more? Platinum #108: God Eater Resurrection Spoiler GOD EATEEEEEEEEEEER! Oh my god, I can't even express how long I've been waiting for God Eaters to hit western shores. So much I even was ready to import. But I heard the rumor before Paris Games Week and decided to believe it. And even though Bamco brought some conflicting feelings (Dub suuuuuuuuuuuuuuuucks!) I was overjoyed. Who wouldn't be? Getting Vita version of GE2 physical and getting GER for free! Since GER is the remake of the first game, I obviously started with this one. And because... Alisa :D Alisa equals God Eater for me =D Without Alisa, GE is just not GE. Another thing that hyped me for the game was anime (#BASEDUFOTABLE!) so since Lenka was available, I chose to become Lenka =D Despite knowing the story of God Eater pretty much fully, I enjoyed it immensely. The cast is so freaking great. Some may say that karige don't have good stories but this one. This one has. Not to mention the additional story with Pita re-skin. If you can have more Shio, you just take it =D No matter what =D One important thing. Playing a dubbed game mute with Youtube Japanese playthrough to hear the proper voices... that is the way to go =D Platinum #109: God Eater 2: Rage Burst Spoiler And the sequel. And another playthrough with Youtube videos in background. And I know... it wouldn't be possible without it. Because... AOI YUUKI! BLOND LOLI AOI YUUKI! :D That may have affected a biiiiiiiiiiiiiit my affection towards Rachel :awesome: In any case, GE2 felt a bit more draggy than GE1 and more predictable. Plus, I wasn't really glad that melee became so OP and broken you simply had to use it =D But as I was progressing, the cast and the story started to grow on me. And in the end, I can say it was a worthy sequel. You can't beat Unit 1, but Blood Unit isn't that far behind =D (Nana's butt. Nana's butt. Just Nana's butt =D) The amount of waifus was really high here. And Licca moved to no.2 rank of GE girls =D Platinum #110: Code: Realize ~Guardian of Rebirth~ Spoiler And another otome. And this time. MUCH better than anything Amnesia produced. The characters here were written much better. The overall setting was much better. The story was much more interesting. Just Cardia was a bit less cute than Amnesia protagonist. Victorian England is a setting that always works no matter what you use it on. I gotta say this was a VN that I played on many places =D In the bus, at home, in the shopping mall, while driving (yea, you haven't read this, okay?), ... Hopefully the additional stories that IFI is planning to release are going to be as interesting as this one. Van and Fran for the win :awesome: Platinum #111: Sword Art Online: Hollow Realization Spoiler Kirito-kun no.1 strikes again! Another SAO, another SAO Plat for me. Despite being obvious, I have to say... I played it on the Vita. And... I regretted it immediately. The first area hit me hard. The game was sometimes literally unplayable. So much I was really considering buying PS4 version. Everything escalated on the first boss. The game dropped to maybe 5FPS and I really wanted to give up. Fortunately, I did not. Bamco released a patch and suddenly, everything was much better. All subsequent areas were perfectly okay (yea, because I had dual wielding xD) and I was able to finish everything. And then... grind for Plat started. Affection grinding wasn't that bad in the end due to another patch (I did the best girls = Silica, Yuuki, Premiere (new. no. 3 :D Tear seiyuu made her SO incredibly cute) and Sinon (Miyukyun once again cute as a pie =D) without the boost) but the skill grinding... HOLY LORD! I pretty much doubled the overall amount of gameplay (~70 hours) just by grinding =D All how boring that grind was. If anyone says grinding in Hollow Fragment is boring, they should try this. xD Overall, this game felt inferior to Hollow Fragment despite addition of Premie-chan and her storyline. But it's a SAO game, I can't NOT Plat it =D Platinum #112: SHINING RESONANCE Spoiler OH MY GOD! Just... Kiseki-level Plat. In all seriousness. I fell in love with this game years ago and I never actually thought I would be able to actually play it. It was one of the 2017 goals and I was incredibly excited when I started it. But nothing could ever happen if it wasn't for @Lelouch Lamperouge who offered his copy to me (albeit without Kirika-sama :/). It's been so long since I was enjoying literally EVERY second of some game :D Whenever I came home, I was looking forward to continuing this game like a little kodomo =D I never expected I could be so immersed into a story after Kiseki :D It's funny that unreadables are more immersing than localized ones :D And I didn't expect I could love a character SO MUCH despite not being voiced by HanaKana. But Saorin is Saorin, she is my no.3 so it's somehow expected. One thing that I'm really proud of and that is going to make me remember this game even more were the milestones =D Not only I wanted this trophy to be 5500th one, I also wanted it to be my level up trophy. And that took some HEAVY adjusting. I seriously thought I wouldn't make it. At least Nubla somehow saved it and everything worked out. Special platinums need special recognition. And to wrap this up, I can only copy what I said on the MRP thread. This game pretty much symbolizes what I love about Japanese games. I have been looking forward to playing this game for SO long it may as well be called hype. And it hella NOT disappointed AT ALL! More than that, it blew up all expectations out of water with how brilliant it was! To describe it in one word. This game is incredibly beautiful. In all aspects buuut... I have to mention the waifus =D Oh my god, those waifus... All characters are so beautifully drawn but on top of that they really feel alive and incredibly well written. Another thing I love about Japanese games =D And I'm not even talking about the overall story which was incredible. All of this under soothing BGM which even made me listen to it without moving =D That only happened in Kiseki :D And the insert songs... OH MY GOD! Saorin's voice is so incredibly BEAUTIFUL! Even ashamed the big Nana Mizuki =D Talking about Nana, maybe for the first time, I even loved the 'antagonist' of some game =D Too bad she is playable only as a DLC. And despite still preferring tactical RPGs, action once in a while does not hurt =D Even though leveling to level 100 was a bit pointless, even trophy-wise the game was pleasant :D All in all, best ARPG I have ever played. 80 hours of pure enjoyment =D If by some miracle SEGA remasters it for PS4 and localizes it, it will be on top of my future recommendations. :D And simply... Kirika-sama =D And all other talks here =D https://forum.psnprofiles.com/profile/180232-lelouch-lamperouge/?status=141198&type=status Platinum #113: Miko Gakkou Monogatari: Kaede-hen Spoiler After finishing such a game, it was really hard for the next game. Fortunately, in adjusting trophies for the milestone, this cute game popped up. I've been targeting it for while. Since... 1000 yens for a Plat? Why not? And that was even before I realized... the game had English subs IN ADDITION to voices! I definitely did not expect this from a small doujin game. All in all, it's what you would expect from such game. It was visibly low budget. But I had fun. The 3D chibi models were incredibly cute =D And the characters as well xD I'm just angry at myself for screwing up the first playthrough due to one missed trophy and decision that lead to different route that made me a bit angry at game. Fortunately, after realizing this mistake, everything was okay once again =D Until the last trophy =D You would expect praying 25 times would be okay after getting trophy for praying 10 times, right? Welp, not. I had to play the game 3 more times before the trophy finally popped =D Forgetting all the bad experiences, this is pretty much ideal J-indie. More doujin games should be inspired by this =D Platinum #114: The World of Nubla Spoiler Start of what I called a 'scum run'. I wanted to boost my trophy count in preparation for Vita-tan's birthday :D This game was started mostly because I needed a quick gold trophy for Shining Resonance milestone adjusting. It was pretty artistic and not really that bad. Some puzzles were fun, some were a bit weird but it wasn't that bad of a game. Platinum #115: Orc Slayer Spoiler If I said Nubla wasn't that bad, I can't say the same about this. This game is literal shit. It's not even easy Platinum as people made it out. Maybe it was patched or something, but it definitely is not what you would call an easy Plat. Frustrating levels, frustrating frame drops, BS mechanics. Nope, never again. Definitely not going to stack this. Platinum #116: My Name is Mayo Spoiler Just Mayo. Everything about this game has already been said. You just have to have it on your profile =D The random facts were funny. Platinum #117: Swapquest Spoiler Originally a game planned for Vita-tan's 5th anniversary but I couldn't pass up being fastest achiever =D First hidden gem I dug out from the pool of Vita games. Incredibly fun puzzle game with interesting tile swapping mechanics. Since the game is quite short and the story is quite generic, there's not much to say about that but the gameplay is definitely the most important aspect here. Even though I eventually started to abuse it (take 2 cross tiles and you can go literally anywhere =D). The final bosses were a bit annoying but nothing that couldn't be beat. All in all, fun quick Plat ideal for Vita. Platinum #118: Day of Tentacle Remastered Spoiler First of the point and click adventures I planned for Vita-tan birthday. This was really old school one. Opening doors with command, that was something I wasn't prepared for =D But at least it wasn't really old-school and the mini-game because that... was hell. However, it was nice reminder of point and click adventures. Maybe I find a new passion? xD Plus, what better way to spend time with Vita-tan than some tentacles? :awesome: Platinum #119: Demetrios Spoiler The second point and click for Vita B-day. And pretty funny to say at least =D I had some good laughs while playing this xD Once again, hidden gem I dug out. And in terms of point and clicks, with better controls than Tentacle. Story was pretty average and the main character was generic as hell but... GODDAMN those bad endings xDDDD Playing the game for them was worth xD Platinum #120: Ray Gigant Spoiler The only weeb game of the Vita celebration. The game that has been my partner throughout working months of the last year. It's hard to rate it. It's pretty much average in every aspect. Sometimes it was boring, sometimes it surprised. I can't say anything bad about gameplay. That was perfect. But the story... and the characters... dunno, both were pretty weak for a proper weeb game. But splitting the story into different characters was definitely innovative and I wouldn't mind seeing it in other games. That was something I quite liked. (Despite the fact that your party members were pointless eaters of Seeds). I like dungeon crawlers so the final result is positive, but there could have been more. Platinum #121: Severed Spoiler Wow. I knew about this game being a big hit on Vita. But I didn't expect it to be that much fun. It just shows that you can still create games for Vita even now and be successful :D That makes me really happy. And this game is once again something that utilizes Vita features perfectly. (even though your finger IS going to hurt :D) There were some annoying fights (like seriously? full buffed dragon on a time limited battle?) and I was sometimes pretty annoyed. But in the end, it all comes together in a very touching experience. Platinum #122: Punchline Spoiler Easy, if it's Uchi game, I want to play it. And if it's for 800 yen? No doubts, no reason to delay =D Punchline is actually pretty important game. Because it broke my 'not using PS4 because of white notifications' streak that has been going since September 11th to... Valentine's day =D Yep, what better way to spend Valentine than looking at pantsu? :awesome: Seriously, seeing Ten-chan pantsu was so CUTE :D Anyway, while pantsu are obviously important, there was one reason why I needed to play it. To see the true ending. And damn, did that not disappoint... So beautiful. Everything that anime built led to this epic conclusion. Now onto localized Vita one xD Platinum #123: Atelier Sophie Spoiler My Atelier dose has been fulfilled again! Even though I'm missing Atelier from 2016, at least in 2017 Atelier is back. Even though everyone says this game is weak, and objectively it is true, it's still fun as Atelier is supposed to be =D I mean, the alchemy system is definitely improved. Even though I was really nervous about the missing time limit (yea, seriously) and restrictions, once I adapted, it became really nice that I could do everything I wanted. But... time limit needs to be in Ateliers no doubts. And despite breaking the game because I crafted ultimate equipment in the middle of the game and I had to play the rest of the game on Despair (xD), I even enjoyed the battling part of the game (I still think that battling is the least important part of Ateliers =D). And after a LONG while, it's been a game I've been playing from the morning the whole day =D Now onto Firis! Platinum #124: Plastic Memories Spoiler Oh my beloved Isla, my beloved. I definitely wanted this cute face to be one of my milestones and first decided to have it as #125 but... P5 :D So... the only remaining was #6000 trophy. And I did everything I could to do it, including not playing P5 the whole day the first two days! o.O Whenever I play a new unreadable, I feel that I can no longer return to localized games =D I'm enjoying unreadables much more and I'm definitely concentrating on them than localized ones, lol. In any case, this game is... just... beautiful. It's nothing like Punchline, this is full-fledged expansion that could work as a new season of anime :D It's that good and that packed with events. After reading the VN, I definitely realized that PuraMem anime is definitely lackluster. There were so many things that could have been expanded. And were... in the VN =D I'm definitely starting to like VNs that expand anime. That way I have an easy choice what to play =D Who wouldn't love this cutie? :DDDDD Platinum #125: Persona 5 Spoiler F-T-B! F-T-B! F-T-B! Oh yes, we did, my sweetheart voiced by Aoi Yuuki :awesome: Saying anything about Persona 5 is incredibly hard when all I could think about was Futaba :DDDDD On more serious note, this game is exactly as stylish, as brilliant, as glorious as everyone says. (Well, considering I was among the top 200 achievers, I guess I'm in that everyone xD) And... even more. This game is just the most polished Persona to date. And from game perspective, it's by far the best one. The combination of all best mechanics from previous Personas and inclusion of SMT mechanics (seriously, demon, eh, I mean Persona, negotiation was my most awaited new feature =D). And the stylish outcome of this. SO GREAT! SO BRILLIANT! But that doesn't even take story into consideration. And heck, that was a wild ride. The cast, the flow, the bad guys, everything polished to the utmost maximum. And the final scenes... simply perfect. Despite knowing about the final twist beforehand, it didn't kill the enjoyment at all =D In fact, when that happened and I was on the way to find my party again... guess who was the first one? :DDDDD All in all, a definite in my #10 games of all times. There's nothing that could have been made better on the game =D Well, maaaaaaybe giving player more to do on NG+ since I didn't need to do anything more than playing one and half month to Plat =/ (Oh and... screw Guardian :P I had to spent the whole day catching that bastard :P). Other than that, perfect, perfect, perfect. And once again, back to Futaba. Because she's the main reason for everything. Any scene where Futaba was unhappy, or even worse, suffering... that was like a needle to eye. That hurt, that hurt so much that even tears started falling. That strong... was my connection to her. Oh man, the waifus I met in 2017 are just... incredibly written and absolutely best characters in addition to best girl status of their respective games. Futaba, Kirika, Isla... Sure, they are voiced by my best seiyuus (excluding the absolute #1) so... that may have an effect =D I still, considering everything as a bundle, have to prefer P3, but P5 is strongly on the second place (just like Futaba is by far the second best girl of Persona history :awesome:). Platinum #126: Conception II This game had it really hard =D It was a game that I started after Persona 5 xD Any game like that would have it hard. But this one... well, let's say it was even more =D I had this game for years but couldn't start it because it didn't have proper voices. I was drawn to the game system and everything but playing mute wasn't something I wanted for a long time. However, after P5, it was ideal time as a refresher =D And... did I regret not playing it sooner. The game is pure fun =D Pure fanservice fun. Damn, if it had proper voices, it would be simply perfect =D Babies, waifus, everything was so cute :D Even though parting with my babies was really hard :( But still, this was one fun ride :D Perfect aperitif after P5 :D I do think that the game would be even more enjoyable if it was a pure VN but the combination of VN and dungeon crawling does have its magic =D All in all... Serina > Torri > Ellie > Fuuko > Chloe > Feene > Narika Platinum #127: Teslagrad Start of the few games I played simply to help my Olympics team. This was... well average. And no, I didn't. (complete the game) Platinum #128: Superdimension Neptunia vs SEGA Hard Girls Another Neptunia to my collection. As usual with spin-offs, pretty short one, but... it had Plue! Any game with Plue is insta rabu =D I do appreciate Neps trying something new but... the parkour didn't really fit the game. And in some cases, it was more annoying than anything (damned medals). On the other hand, SEHA Girls weren't that bad :D I would like to see more of them actually. What I did like, though... was IF's butt :awesome: Platinum #129: Deponia Another game for Olympics but actually one I wanted to play myself. I've been interested in Deponia on PC so when it came to PS4, there was no reason to not play it. The story is funny and cute but it felt like a prologue. I sincerely hope the sequels are going to be ported to PS4 as the stories of the duo should not end like this =D Plus, Goal is a cutie =D Platinum #130: Mr. Massagy This game is pure gold and whoever says something else should burn in VN skipping hell =D This damn game is glorious =D Seriously =D I haven't had that much fun with an easy Platinum for a long time =D Well, VNs always kill me =D But this one... was something =D Too bad it was so short =D I did enjoy Mayo but this is the true peak of the studio =D Papu-tan (Best girl being best girl :awesome:) > S.O.N.I.A (I would 3.1415 her with my USB stick :awesome::awesome::awesome:) > Nicole (I sometimes need to mate with my kind, right? :awesome:) Platinum #131: Gem Smashers When you don't know what to play and you randomly pull a Vita Plat from you ass =D I like these random games literally no one knows =D It gives me a feeling of satisfaction that Vita-tan offers so many games xDDDD This was actually pretty nice game. Puzzles tend to be a great fit for Vita. Welp, 4 hours spent well =D Platinum #132: The Little Acre And the last of the point&click spree I performed. Playing all these easy games actually woke up my inner point and clicker =D Can't say I mind that, though~ Point and clicks are fun and tend to have easy Platinums. I don't think I'll stop with them in foreseeable future =D This one was a little weaker but you can't have everything you want. Platinum #133: Akiba's Trip 2 YEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEES. Very similar situation to Conception. I've had the game for a long time but couldn't get into it... And once again, the feeling was absolutely crushed =D THIS IS SO GOD DAMN OTAKUGOOD =D It has everything otaku game should have =D Cute girls P0rn :awesome: Moe imouto, everything about Akiba... and most importantly... YOU CAN STRIP JKs! It's really bad that the game had to bury all of these godly aspects under crappy battle system. The fact that there were 3 hit areas and each of them had specific button assigned wouldn't be that bad... but the headgear system was so crappy. Literally any kind of guard was enough to prolong any battle because you couldn't steal the headband. At least after getting Izayoi Oboro, everything was easier. But the first playthrough was incredibly annoying. At least the girls saved it :D Platinum #134: Nitroplus Blasterz Finally a doable fighting game Plat =D Seriously, finally a game where QC/DQCs weren't just a measly dream =D In any case, even though I didn't know half of the Nitroplus characters in the game, I still quite enjoyed the stories. Maybe I'll eventually try to speedrun the Japanese version =D Especially now that I know what my main problem was (B+C is not the same as A+B :/). Some characters were actually enough to make me be interested in them. I need to be more active on PC platform =D Platinum #135: Gravity Rush 2 The long awaited sequel for my first game played ever =D I did have some doubts (because it wasn't on Vita) and unfortunately they weren't broken after finishing the game. Sure, story gave us answers (some of them we already expected) and did wrap up things nicely but... not enough. Just not enough. Some questions were still not answered and despite that, I don't think there will be something else to wrap those up. That brings us to what I really didn't like. Multiplayer aspects were annoying more than anything (the fact that they populated menu was annoying enough but you had to click on them to make them disappear). And well, Sony shut them down year after release of the game, that says all about the MP and the game itself. In fact, that was probably the biggest reason why I couldn't get into it. Whenever I was starting to get into it, something annoying happened. Either main or side mission usually (fortunately not many side missions were annoying so at least that). Not to mention the fact that despite needing to be on PS4, it was still worse optimized than GR1 on Vita... All in all, it's like Zero Time Dilemma, we got what we wanted, but you can no longer overcome the first experience. At least you could play the game in 2B outfit :awesome: That was the most enjoyable part of the game for sure :awesome: Platinum #136: Accel World vs Sword Art Online: Millennium Twilight A new SAO game => I must clear it =D That's an irreversible axiom =D Well, if we can call this a 'SAO' game. Since this is pretty much Accel World story in SAO world. In fact, so much Accel World it had characters and references to Accel World that weren't even animated and are LN-only =D But... it worked surprisingly well! In fact the only annoyance was Lost Song battle system since flying means that enemies will fly as well and won't stay on one place and your skills miss like mad... Anyway, the story was really great and touching. It actually touched aspect of SAO that everyone knows is possible but no one wanted to think about it. And the final boss... I can't say I didn't realize that. But it didn't hinder the experience from the final revelation. Though... Bamco seems to overkill it with grinding more and more =D In this game, I spent like 40 hours on the main story and 70 on grinding for the Plat o.O But with Kirito-kun and the cast (albeit without Alicization ones =/), every hour is worth :D Not to mention, I came to appreciate the Scarlet loli Rain =D HidaRina is such a precious cutie :D Also 70th Vita Platinum. When did Vita get so many games? xD Platinum #137+138: Senran Kagura: Estival Versus #FORTHEHOMETOWN! Not much of a change from Shinovi Versus. Felt like DLC to it actually =D At least I technically spent my Summer Vacation with it XDDD Well, it was a pure Senran with all of its great points =D From new characters, only Kafuru was worth something. And I felt there were too many missions but at least I had something for trophy per day, lol =D Story was definitely more leisure than SV but it made me appreciate both Ryona (SHE IS OP!) and especially... shiri, shiri, shiri Ryobi =D Ryobi is climbing higher and higher on my Senran ranking =D And she is closing on TOP 3 =D But I guess... even more fun was the cross-save speedrun with Ryona-chan =D Platinum in 2 hours, oh my =D Platinum #139: Root Letter I've been hearing things about this VN from both sides. From the love side and the hate side and it seemed like the love and hate for this game is pretty much equal. So, I went into the game without any excessive expectations and... Maan, did it surprise me incredibly. It was MUCH better than I expected. Sure, I have to say that it was mostly the start and the end that hooked me (and the fact that it was based on the existing Nippon location :awesome:), the middle part of common route was pretty boring and (well... that actually is tied to the middle part) the fact that the game pretty much serves you answers in terms of characters since there isn't enough 'irrelevant' characters so you pretty much immediately know who is who. (Even ignoring the voices which made everything even more obvious :awesome:) Another thing regarding story. Daaaaaaaamn, those 3 bad endings... gee, that was some creepy factor there. o.O I was like... wat? when I finished Cursed Letter and Himegamori Hime. =D One thing that I would definitely omit from the game was the investigation part. Ignoring the bullshit Max Mode which served ABSOLUTELY no purpose since you could have just randomly picked up anything and if you exhausted all choices, nothing would change, sometimes, the order didn't really make sense and it was not really logical. In any case, I was more than pleased, I seriously didn't expect it to be that good. Aaaand... Gari best girl :awesome: Platinum #140: Atelier Firis: Fushigi na Tabi no Renkinjutsushi This Atelier definitely felt different. Maybe because it was so humongous, maybe because it was combination of what Atelier fans want (time-limit) and what casual players want (freedom). First, the time-limit. Great it was brought back but... not like this, seriously. Spending time just through walking? Yea, it makes sense from reality perspective, but... DO NOT MIX REALITY INTO WEEB GAMES! Sure, in the end I ended up with complete story and equipment 100 days before deadline, but it definitely felt restricting. Especially with the open-world (which doesn't fit Atelier at all). You spend time simply by traveling and you put the game in open-world? Like wut? On the other hand, this was pretty much the only con I found. (Maybe the endings could have been longer and there didn't need to be party lock feature but well) Other than that, it was the Atelier we all want and deserve. Firis-chan SO CUTE. The way her seiyuu portrayed her made me instantly fall in love with her =D I also felt that the amount of the story was much bigger than in Sophie. Especially in terms of character events. That felt a bit annoying since male characters were too relevant when they shouldn't be :awesome: The alchemy system seems to set in stone for Fushigi trilogy and it's a good thing. (Just remove trait restrictions, plz, I want my epic traits without spending crapload of time to craft one thing over and over xD)All in all, while there were definitely moments when I was nervous about spending too much time on some activities during the main story and then spending too much time exploring post-game so my overall time went easily over 50 hours, it was one enjoyable Atorie =D To those who made it this far, I applaud =D To end this thread with style, I'll make some statistics. Satoshi Ookami
I didn't know you made a list, I don't check this part of the forum very often ><. Yea, it's not like I have it in signature, or anything, right? ( couldn't plat it though, can't find my last chest ) Did you try visiting often mentioned places? Especially the one that is behind the portal and pretty invisible on the map? Hope I get around to doing SAO aswell, just because there's a glitched trophy makes me always give up on attempting it. It's not THAT glitched.. it just requires you to blaze through Aincrad two times =) P.S : Loli's are the best. I already know what's gonna be your 3000th trophy. However, if platinum no. 60 have to be from the same game you need to work harder. Margaret will be proud Oh? It's not gonna be Arena Ultimax or anything HanaKana related actually =D
