I'm not sure if its supposed to be a run & gun though...I thought I read some where that its suppose to have some sort of turn based element to it. Anyway, I can get why they may have done this: to create a different experience in a familiar world. I was reading through the comments and it appeared that a developer was saying that a third game to bridge the gap between this game and SteamWorld Dig is being planned as well.
