Even after the patch, the issue is still not solved on the PS3. You try to connect and stay at the menu forever until eventually disconnecting again. 2 little trophies. But, when I try in-game it usually works, especially when I create one instead of trying to join an other. Still, I haven't tried a lot to know for sure.
