Game_Ark
Hey Gamers, I got my PS4 a week ago, so far I love it. I will be using it as my primary gaming console for years (till PS5 lol ) I thought I might run out of space in a year, so why not change the HD. After while searching online I found "Seagate Expansion STBX2000401 2TB 2.5-Inch" can be use on PS4. Which I ordered on amazon for $89.89 Now the price is $108 something. I will be getting it on Tuesday, hopefully everything goes well and I made a good decision lol. Anyway I play GTA V, if you wanna play with me follow me PSN: Game_Ark. Let me know what do you think about the upgrade. Thanks

Xxleonardo97xX
I remember when the PS3 had 40 GB and the latest one has 500 GB, by that logic, the PS4 started with 500 GB so expect it to increase too (and lower price ).
McJacs2
I remember when the PS2 had 8 MB memory cards. Those were the days
Yechan
I upgraded my PS4 hard drive to 2TB earlier this year, and it's great! If you already have save files on your PS4 make sure you save them to a flashdrive so you can copy them to your new hard drive. I had to manually download each save from PS+ cloud storage seperately since there was no quick option to select and downlaod all of my saves :/
KitsuneChaos
I remember when the PS2 had 8 MB memory cards. Those were the days The original Playstation's Memory Card had only 128kb of space (15 "blocks" running about 8kb each). Yep. Good times.
MRgreen55
Just to let you guys know it don't read all 2tb it only read's like 1.7tb or something like that if your in Eu you can just buy the HDD if your in the Usa you have to buy the external hard drive then take it apart to get the hdd then put it in your ps4there a lot of video on YouTube to take that drive a part http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16822178627 http://www.amazon.com/Seagate-Expansion-STBX2000401-2-5-Inch-Portable/dp/B00ILALU9G/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1418586514&sr=8-1&keywords=STBX2000401+2TB+2.5-Inch the Newegg is just the HDD but the amazon is the external hard drive were you have to take it apart Edited December 14, 2014 by MRgreen55

KitsuneChaos
To be quite honest, I've been considering swapping out for a hybrid drive for a while now -- but just find myself utilizing the current HDD capacity to warrant the purchase just yet. Though I did purchase a dual HDD docking station, so I suppose that's a start for whenever I need to transfer stuff from the current drive to the new one, or if I ever need to start backing up files. Jeez, I've been slacking.
lildude9763
I think you made an excellent decision with upgrading your HDD. That is an excellent price for a great amount of space. I probably won't be doing the same though as I can hardly fill my 500GB already!
MarsipanRumpan
Good choice. Ive filled my HDD three times already lol
d3m0nd00d
Still pissed that Sony doesn't allow external upgrades! I upgraded my xbox one externally with a 3TB and payed less than a 2TB internal for the ps4. Please Sony allow external HDD!!!
