sept-sept
I've noticed some profiles on this site who earned the mp trophies well after the servers closed on this so this shouldn't be possible. Anyone knows what's up with that ?
snakebit10
Most likely they hacked the trophies.

EternalChaos72
Hackers, I've heard before this game gets a lot of hackers... It would be class if Sony found out who hacked them and permanently banned there accounts
willmill97
That's never going to happen unfortunately
sept-sept
Lousy that this is even possible. Apparently everything can be hacked.
antithesis
Timestamps in all PS3 games can be hacked via CFW. BUT (and it's a big but) the upgrade / downgrade process is complicated and can perma-brick your PS3 at any time. AND if Sony catches you connecting to the PSN using CFW, your PSN ID and console ID will be perma-banned. If you're stupid, you don't check server closure dates and / or connect to the PSN via CFW. If you're smart, no-one will ever know. I've noticed some profiles on this site who earned the mp trophies well after the servers closed on this so this shouldn't be possible. Anyone knows what's up with that ? Upgrade to Premium and you can report all dodgy timestamps to clean them off the Leaderboards.

D4N11--
Most likely some people really wanted the trophies and created private server (i would do the same if some of my game gets shutdown servers) to get 100% completion, but i havent done that ever, its bannable if you get caught. I thought about that the last days Can you get Trophys on privat servers or has it to be a server from Sony to get the trophys?
Zbir_Vladimir
I thought about that the last days Can you get Trophys on privat servers or has it to be a server from Sony to get the trophys? You cant really create private server unless: 1) a game has features allowing you to do so (this one doesnt have them) 2) you're totally obsessed, have a lot of technical understanding/capabilities and you have nothing better to do for a couple of years As far as I know #2 happened only once on consoles as its much more complicated here than on PCs (proprietary gaming network). https://www.theguardian.com/technology/2014/sep/24/metal-gear-online-professional-hackers
HotScorcher
Apparently, people were able to do that for Twisted Metal Black Online as well, on PS2, mind you.http://kotaku.com/nearly-a-decade-later-twisted-metal-black-online-is-ba-1756457263
Popular Post tidojak
I wish I could delete this game and the trophies off my account. Sony should give us the option to delete games off our trophy list that has shutdown servers. But they never will I don’t guess. ?

Sony aren't the brightest bulbs in the box but this a very common occurrence, because there are quite a few games out there that have either been delisted or lost their servers - yet still have their MP DLCs available even though you can't use them e.g. the PS3 version of Bulletstorm. FYI Bulletstorm's DLC isn't online only- there is SP content as well. The only DLC I remember being strictly online and lasting for years was Army of Two. Since it didn't have trophies nobody really cared, but it was on the XBL marketplace...since the DLC had ach's people would still buy it only to find it was completely useless. I don't think it was delisted until a year or two ago.

I see. Dunno if i should get it. Though it may be just wishful thinking of me that some day the servers get back. I really liked this game! Nah only Apocalypse and RC were also released digitally. Not sure about the latter though. The only "digital" Pacific Rift game was that buyable "glorified" 3D demo. The one I'm talking about was like $7.49 and online only (It was 600 MSP) https://www.trueachievements.com/game/Army-of-Two/dlc/SSC-Challenge-Map-Pack The Free DLC did have a couple added campaign missions
