Is this game hard to plat?

It's not really hard per se (even the Ex-Hard difficulty is a breeze), it's just more time consuming, mainly with completing some of the mini-games like hostess maker and a couple of the other ones. There's like maybe one or two of the Ultimate Challenges that might be a bit tricky, but even those aren't too bad. I'd say you shouldn't really have much of a problem if you're going for plat, it's definitely worth it to playthrough it even if you weren't though.

So this came to ps plus and this interests me a bit but i just wanna know was this game hard to plat or was it even funny. Is the fighting or minigames hard or the hardest difficulty? Please someone who has platted this game, tell me is it worth it and was it hard?

Yes and no. Harder than most. Not harder than Yakuza 3. Tedious, though.

but are you good at these kind of games or fighting games?

I platinated all the games of this series but I`m not good at other fighting games.

For Yakuza 4 it is even easier than for example Yakuza 3 because mini-games trophy are way simpler.

as also other users said it is time consuming but not hard at all.

Cheers for the post, was wondering the same thing. I'll still play it, but 90 hours, I have too much other stuff to do, I think I'll just stick to the campaign and playthrough it once for the story.

God damn it Dylan, you've made literally no progress on this front, and managed to end up back in square one. Good job.

Not hard at all. Took me just over 90 hours to platinum. I had never played a Yakuza game before this one. There are several minigames that need to be played in order to obtain all of the miscellaneous trophies but none of them are difficult; just time consuming / tedious.

Interesting, I wanted to know this as well. I'm planning to play Y4 later this year, but 90+ hrs...

Shoot, I thought I could plat this faster, but I think I'll just take it in moderation.

At least it's "not that hard".

Update: Just got the  :platinum:

I consider myself an average gamer and it wasn't too bad. There were a couple of tough spots tho, but it's quite doable.

Clocked in at 119h 25m.

Don't understand all this fear from the fighting...I just spam the square and sometimes hit the triangle...it hasn't not not worked yet.

So far I have seen a couple of discrepancies with the PSNP trophy guide...

Played all 4 of the casino games and no trophy popped. I only didn't win the baccarat game, so I think that's the hang-up.

I'm 75% into the trophy list and it's my first Yakuza game. So far it's more time-consuming than tough. Even the fabled mahjong trophy was straightforward, I just read the short summary information in the guide and observed the patterns in the game; made sense soon enough and trophy popped in 20 minutes. That one has some light RNG to it, not as bad as the pachinko trophy which can superficially waste your time.

Just got the plat. It's way easier than the previous ones (Y0, K1,K2 and Y3). Legend mode is easy when you are max out, climax battle easy too and no need to 100% or try hard minigames. If it's your first Yakuza maybe challenging but who wants to try the yakuza series with the 4th ?

Good luck!
