Lightning Returns: What's Your Schema Setup?

Now that I finally started into a playthrough what I'm happy with, I'm working with a schema setup that is working so far but I feel could use a bit more punch, so I wanted to get some ideas about what worked best for you? This is my setup (I'm on day 4).

 

Saboteur/Sentinel Role

Paladin garb

Femme Fatale rapier

Renegade shield

Imp's Crest (Magic +15%)

Guard Glove (Resist Physical Damage +10%)

Deprotect Lvl 3

Deshell Lvl 3

Heavy Guard Lvl 3

-ra elemental spell for the predominant element weakness of the area; or Debrave, Defaith, Poison, or Imperil as needed

 

Ravager Role

Electronica, Ignition, Watery Chorus, or Woodland Walker garbs to exploit whichever element is predominant

Succubus Claw sword

Guardian Corps shield

Magician's Token (Magic +15%)

Sniper's Gloves (Increased damage beyond certain range)

Aero, Fire, Thunder, & Blizzard Lvl 2

 

Commando Role

Knight of Etro garb

Overture sword

Goddess's Grace shield

Wolf's Emblem (Strength +15%)

Firewyrm, Thunderbird, Watergod, & Windwalker Bracelets as needed (casts Enfire, Enthunder, Enfrost, & Enaero)

Blitz Lvl 2

Heavy Slash Lvl 2

Attack Lvl 2

Elemental -strike attack for whatever element is predominant

Demon Earrings+ (ATB Cost +10, Str & Mag +40%)

Enlister's Gloves (Increases damage to close enemies)

Heavy Slash Lv. 2 Mediguard Lv. 3 Punt Lv. 2 Blitz Lv.3

ATK: 4957 MAG: 1552

 

Dragoon

Chaos's Revenge

Satin Scrunchie+ (Status Resistance +66%)

Dawn Gauntlets (EP Usage -20%)

Lancet Lv. 3 Mediguard Lv. 3 Elementa Lv. 2 Beat Down Lv.2

ATK:1781 MAG:1709

Tri-Point Coronet+ (Element Resistance +36%)

Tenacious Ring (Increases Defenses when HP is 50% or below)

Aerora Lv. 4 Mediguard Lv. 3 Attack Lv. 4 Beat Down Lv. 3

ATK:1701 MAG:1709

 

I usually just staggered my enemies, then used Slayer (Heavy Slash during Stagger). At almost 5000 ATK, that killed just about anything.

Seems to work pretty well. All around well balanced and allows me to go straight into COM mode with either dragoon or destroy with quiet guardian heavy strike.
