Popular Post damon8r351
I'm sure this is old news to some people, but Oreshika: Tainted Bloodlines, a turn based JRPG exclusive to the PS Vita will be released in NA on March 3rd and EU on March 4th as a digital download title. Full details are here, but the basic premise is that you're a Japanese clan trying to lift a curse that causes all members to live for only two years, and require the assistance of gods to breed. Below is a Watch Us Play video of the Japanese release from Kotaku for anyone interested. I for one am always up for a new RPG on the Vita (finding time to play them is another story). Bucknerd
From the Playstation blog: "To celebrate the launch — and as a thank you for purchasing — starting today until the store update on March 17th, you will receive two additional gods as a bonus that cannot be normally unlocked from within the game." Seriously giving the game low score because of her was a little bit extreme.. Loved the first game on PsOne, oh the memories! Bucknerd
Judging the fact it's an ultra rare plat with over 5,000 Japanese players I'd say this will be difficult. Then again there are some ultra rare trophies that say stuff like "bathe in the hot spring 100 times." Seems simple enough.... but something tells me a reason it's so rare. DDrag00n
I once read that alot of japanese players disliked this game because your family doesn't impact the game much and that you can beat the game easily with just the protaganist of the game. however I can't find this article anymore so I'm not sure if its true or that it was just one hell of a fever dream. Ryumoau
I saw this game on the psn store but i'm still not sure if its worth it. I really wish it had a demo because $20 is too steep for me to just blindly buy it.
Bucknerd
I've seen various amounts of positive reviews about it today. Boooda
The game is pretty fun, but Im still wrapping my head on around its pretty unique mechanics. Im not very far in at all though, just completed the first "labyrinth". Really like the art style though and the character creator was pretty neat. Boooda
Is it tough? No, its pretty tame so far. The game lets you pick what play style you want based on what you want your average playtime to be. The playstyles are Keen, Serious, Dedicated and Fanatical. I'll list the difference between Keen and Fanatical, the others are sort of in between. Keen play style: Avg completion time - 30hrs Enemy Stamina (health) - 75% Enemy Money - 200% Experience - 250% Passage of time (a mechanic im not explaining ) - Fast Fanatical play style: Avg completion time - 100hrs Enemy Stamina - 100% Enemy Money - 100% Experience - 100% Passage of time - Slow So they aren't really difficulties per se but adjust the game based on how much time you plan on playing it. I chose Dedicated but you can switch whenever you like. Also im not sure what impact these play styles have on trophies as I havent really looked at the trophy list.
