Popular Post Parker
As some of you may know, I recently bought a DSLR camera. It is a Nikon D3200 which from my research seems to be one of the best camera for a beginner and this thread is going to document my journey from awful beginner photographer to slightly less awful hobby photographer. I'll be shooting quite a few things. Cars, trucks, wildlife, flowers, animals, my son, landscapes and anything else I feel like at the moment. Don't expect anything amazing now, but hopefully in a few months I will better understand the basics of photography and be able to create better looking pictures. For this set, I went to my parents house to pick up my son and figured I'd shoot a few pictures of my first love. My '91 Dodge Ram 350 with the 5.9 liter Cummins Turbo Diesel engine. February 22nd, 2015 Also, does anyone have any recommendations for a site other than photobucket to store pictures? Thanks for looking, hopefully you will enjoy this thread. PREDRAG-K
Have you tried using Imgur for pictures? I use that site whenever I upload something from my computer/tablet/phone. I know you can make an account, which I haven't done. But I think it'll let you store your pictures in your account, may be what you're looking for.
X_RaceKing_X
Nice lot you got there man, lets hope those babes are 4WD! And yes! ^^ I agree, using imgur is a good site Edited February 23, 2015 by X_RaceKing_X
cmgravekeeper
Nice camera and nice pics! I've always wanted to start photography at some point myself. Also Imgur in my opinion is the best and most convenient way of storing photos. I highly recommend it. Also there is no longer a premium membership involved for Imgur. About a month ago premium benefits were given to all free users so you won't have any restrictions as a free user.

Thank you for the Imgur suggestion, I've set an account up (already had one, apparently) and I'll be uploading there too. Nice lot you got there man, lets hope those babes are 4WD! The Jeep is 4wd (as is the Expedition, but that isn't mine) but I deliberately set out to find a 2wd 1st Gen Cummins because I never drive it in winter anyways so I don't need it. The 4wd on the Jeep has certainly helped out this past week with all the snow and ice we've had. Parker

1973456
Unless you go Pro imgur downscales some images and has a 250 limit Nevermind, you have to excuse me since I auto-ignore CMG's posts the first time read. I personally started using puush & imgbox and never looked back. Edited February 23, 2015 by Ramonachan

Popular Post Parker
Will we ever have some pics of your physical game collection? I've actually stopped working on my game room since we are planning on selling our house soon to move back closer to my parents. The school system is the best in Kentucky there (only about half an hour away from where we are now) and I grew up there too so the majority of my gaming stuff is packed up. The house we're looking at has a pretty damn awesome basement so if we get it you'll definitely see some game collection pictures. Do my cats count as Mother Nature? February 24th, 2015 Parker
Parker
I was able to drive my Jetta for the first time in almost two weeks yesterday. Man I missed that little diesel engine and manual transmission. Yes, she desperately needs a bath. Parker
Xxleonardo97xX
That's the first time I've seen your Jetta! You called it a small diesel engine, but the car is pretty consistent right? How about some sunset pictures? Or sunrise if you wake up early (Remembered to suggest this after seeing that low sun hitting those trees ) Edited February 27, 2015 by Xxleonardo97xX

I forgot about them, actually. Keep in mind, I'm about as artistic as a potato. Parker
RedEye420
Biggest thing for me about photography is balance. I find that simple concepts of balance lead to the most interesting angles and compositions. Parker
It was in the mid 60's yesterday so I finally got to drive my truck for the first time since they started salting the roads here. Man I've missed driving this thing. The second is my personal favorite of the set. Yeah, she is dirty. I really need to take care of that... Popular Post Parker
It was a pretty day yesterday and since I'm on vacation I decided to keep my son home from school and head to the Louisville Zoo. My son watching another kid eat ice cream after we told him he can't have any... Some of the pictures turned out pretty decent, I think. Burst
The one with the flowers and the one with the bear coming out of water came out REALLY good!
Bucknerd
Your pictures turned out really well Parker. Now I wanna go to the Knoxville zoo. And the picture of your kid lamenting his lack of ice cream Poor thing. Can't get a freebie day from school AND ice cream in one day. The world would stop from awesomeness. Keep up the good work - I look forward more! Edited March 25, 2015 by Bucknerd
theitdemon
Great work dude. I love photography as well and am trying to improve. I have a Canon 700D (which I believe is something like a T5i Rebel in America).
