QuinlanLJ Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 So, I wanna play this game, but I only have a Dualshock 4 controller as my Dulshock 3 isn't working any more. The problem is that the L2 and R2 buttons don't seem to register when I press them. So I'm trying to find a way to replace them with two buttons that aren't that necessary for use. Are the flashlight and "observe" buttons essential to playing the game? Or can I swap them without facing any problems further down the line? edu_gamer Posted February 27, 2015 Share Posted February 27, 2015 Flashlight is completely irrelevant during the course of the game, however "observe" isn't, and the game will lose some of its charm if you get rid of the possibility to do it, besides some of the sidequest would be unbeatable since you need it in order to trigger some events, I think that you are in a rough spot, but if I recall correctly the game always gave the possibility to either use X or triangle during the main Storyline.
