DesmaBR
So, I completed the story mode for Terra's and Ven's, and now I just need to do Aqua's Story. But... She doesn't seem to give much damage. I know the idea with her is to use magic, but the magic commands also seems to take a long time to charge, so it doesn't seem all that worth it to wait. Of course, I barely started playing with her, so it should get better afterwards; but I wanted to know if there's any tricks to make playing as her easier.
Nihiris-
Alternate between physical attacks and finishing with magic spells. Eventually like you said you'll get into a habit you're comfortable with. You basically want to weave magic spells into your combos. Aqua is probably the most fun character to play as among the three. Edited March 1, 2015 by Death_Ninja
Dead Weight
I used D-links for Aqua in the early game a lot until I received more and better commands

Try to get Magic Hastes and Reload Boost as soon as possible?
eagle_12709
In the begging of Aqua's story she is much weaker than Terra and Ven. Take the time to farm enemies in the courtyard of Cinderella's world and power up D-links. Get Ven's DL fully powered up so you can have access to his Cura command. It comes in handy in the beginning until you can actually use Cure commands with Aqua. I spent about 20 minutes farming to reach level 5 before I moved on in the game. With Aqua do not pass up the opportunity to fight enemies or you will regret no gaining experience early on.
caitytrina
I got straight into melding when I started with Aqua and had a lot of commands early on, she's personally my favourite to play with, at the start though you'll probably need to utilize D-Links until she levels up
Gilberting
I know how you feel. I played her story last because I didn't think I would like using magic and what not. But once I got the hang of her fighting style, she easily became my favorite Birth by Sleep character. She's very versatile and her Barrier is WAY better than guard. Plus, her double flight and cartwheel are the best for avoiding attacks! Try using both Magic and physical attacks. It works well.
PureLuxiix
Use magics like thunder or gravity. It unlocks those limit powers like lighting and etc... Makes her more faster and powerful than she looks. I meant the D links lol sorry they are strong and supports the battle
LunchCannon54
Get the Homing Mines, watch enemies cower. Best way to beat Vanitas Remnant. Used her first back on the PSP and beat Mysterious Figure with her, but giving Ventus a go first this time around.
