On my side I don't play to Helldivers anymore since the glitched trophes are fixed and the Dualshock bug is also fixed.

 

I've played 30+ hours and it was great, but I don't want to spend another 30+ hours for levels and kills and finally not be rewarded because of glitches and bugs.

5000 kills left and 1 level... and seems like I will never get this platinum for this game. Community is doing so bad...

 

Having bought the game just a few days before the first war ended, the drop in players has been remarkable given the fallout from trophies not popping that should have for people. I contributed to the war effort, but almost feel guilty for being one of the lucky 219 achievers of 'Peace and prosperity reigns again'. Pretty sure 'Defender of Humanity' glitched on me at least once, so I guess that makes up for it. I can at least still get the plat though.

The real problem is that the devs have stated (source, /r/Helldivers) that the game gets progressively harder with each war that is won. Increased difficulty coupled with a decrease in players is making the second war the cluster it currently is. The only hope is that glitches/bugs are fixed (I won't even get started on cross-play with friends between systems), new content is added, AND new players join the war. Otherwise the second war is going nowhere and Helldivers will die a quick death.

I'm pretty sure the difficulty works both ways. 

We win War 1 (Devs bump difficulty up a notch)
We lose War 2 (Devs bump difficulty down a notch)

 

I just hope they also keep adjusting the difficulty based on amount of people playing. I'm guilty for being one of those who hardly plays after my trophy glitched, I only play about once a week now.

While Patch 1.04 is not quite out yet, we thought we’d give you an update about some of the best things it will feature.

There will of course be an updated complete set of patch notes as the patch goes live.

 

We don’t know exactly when it will be out, as it will need to be approved in the QA process, but it shouldn’t be too long now!

  • DLC Packs (entitlements) can now be shared with local users.
  • Further improved cross-friends discoverability.
  • Fix for receiving missing trophies from participating in the last war.
  • People you have played with will show up in ‘recent players met’.
  • Improved colourblind support.
  • A multitude of fixes for community reported bugs.

 

Balancing:

 

  • Rebalanced Illuminate.
  • Rebalanced several stratagems.
  • Increased available number of Commends and Reports.

Don't feel guilty. Congrats to you! I hope I will be in that list also soon.

I'll agree with you. Otherwise Helldivers will not attract new players. Thanks for patch notes also. I am wondering what are they going to change for Illuminates because they were the most stable win at Helldive difficulty for me. Strategems fix... I hope more strategems can deal with tanks now since the game throws a lot of them at you.

I feel that the Illuminate unit that was added in the DLC is a huge problem for objectives that need to be defended, extractions and pretty basically its capacity to OHK on short notice. I've really tried to cherry pick my missions so that survivors don't need escorting or any objective can be destroyed by that thing during the invasion. I wonder how much community influence was snuffed out by one of those massive, wall generating, impenetrable balls of death.

The new illuminate enemy isnt incredibly hard. If one of the walls appear, run towards the enemy and unload a clip of ammo into it to either kill or force it to move away.

I do agree that sometimes there is no warning about it going to appear especially if its off screen (unlike the sniper enemy) but once you fight him a few times hes not that hard.

Survivor escorts I've found OK still, I only every worry about saving one, but regarding defend objectives I agree.  I really don't think the enemy was playtested at all, because no one should find it reasonable that a creature that can spawn on Level 6 missions can destroy missions in a click of a finger.

 

I don't typically get killed by it, but it's insanely cheap that it can spawn with 5 seconds left on a full health objective and destroy it immediately.

 

Being honest, as much as I've enjoyed the game - the constant issues presented and some glaringly bad design decisions really speak volumes about the developer's inexperience in the industry.  They're good with their community outreach, but some of these errors really shouldn't occur in the first place - and them being present have completely tanked their concurrent players online statistic.

IF we win this war (right now there's 45h remaining and we're losing!!!), we'll unlock Spreading Managed Democracy.

For Peace and prosperity reigns again, as far as I know, we need to defeat all three species (Cyborg, Bug and Illuminate).

Let's kill this bastards and win this war against the bugs!! Let's go psnprofiles community! :D

From what I understand of this trophy, you get the silver trophy for completing any mission inside the currently only planet left and you get the golden one for completing any planet to the fullest before this war started. If we win this, we should get both at once as long as a single planet has been completed. Since you need to complete them to unlock shit, chances are everyone that played a bit will stack both.

I thought we'd have to defeat all enemy races to win the war? Whatever, we'll see soon enough.

The war is composed of 3 galactic campaigns, we need to win one to pop the trophy, as far as I know. Any race being wiped is enough, this is what I gathered from Mafia's posts.

I might be wrong, but from the guide I thought winning a campaign (destroying either race) would unlock the silver trophy and destroying all three races would unlock the gold trophy...

This is so confusing...

But I hope the community can overcome this campaign and win against the bugs

Oh, that might be right...

 

 

Eventually after successfully assaulting all 3 enemy homeworlds the WAR will be won and people who participated will earn this trophy.

If you were referring to my posts in this thread, yeah a lot of them are outdated and probably were my and others initial assumptions how the community trophys would unlock. Its best to ignore most of them, and refer to the guide how to earn them.

I though we would be leading now...especially with influx of PS+ members. Maybe Devs took account of the boost in members.

I've read somewhere on the Playstation Helldivers foruns that the developers can change the wars difficulty at will. If players win a war, the devs might make it harder on the next war. But I'm not sure about this... When our capital was under attack we had no problem defending it but now, this was against the bugs is just impossible... Maybe the devs will make it easier next time  :|

I shouldn't be double posting BUT, I really think I have the answer this time for the trophy :P

Like I said before, to unlock Spreading Managed Democracy, we need to eliminate 1 of the 3 races (Cyborg, Bug or Illuminate) and for Peace and prosperity reigns again we need to eliminate all three races.

How do I know? Well, I took a look at the trophy images ahah :P
