Full Super/Ultimate Power Trophy

Try to get Ultimate Finish. That's about all you can do. Everything is random, even if Ultimate Finish triggers, and unfortunately there's nothing you can do to increase drop rate or anything. You just have to pray to the RNG gods and hope you get the drop you need.

Only other thing is, don't forget about the moves you get from summoning Shenron. You have to wish for a new Ultimate attack twice, and new Super attack twice.

It is true that the ranks you earn do not seem to influence the drops. However, as far as the Ultimate Finishes are concerned, I have found that there are times when they do not matter and other times when they do actually matter. The only time that you would need to worry about aiming for an Ultimate Finish is if the character who has the attack, clothes, or Z-Soul that you require appears during that part of the Parallel Quest. Also, there are times when you might not obtain drops right after defeating enemies but at the Results Screen instead, depending on what Parallel Quests you play.

Some Supers, Ultimates, clothes, and accessories can only be obtained with wishes on the Dragon Balls and not through Parallel Quest completions. Therefore, at some point you will be required to farm for the Dragon Balls multiple times. This also applies to unlocking Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, Super 17, and Omega Shenron.

It will take a total of making 7 wishes on the Dragon Balls to get the 3 trophies for all characters, all Supers, and all Ultimates:

3 "Unlock Character" wishes to unlock Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta, Super 17, and Omega Shenron

2 "Unlock Super Attack" wishes to unlock Super 17's Supers and Omega Shenron's Supers

2 "Unlock Ultimate Attack" wishes to unlock Super 17's Ultimate and Omega Shenron's Ultimate

For some reason, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta's skills can only be obtained from Parallel Quests, usually by defeating Vegito.

Every move is tied to the specific character who uses it, keep that in mind when playing as you'll know whether or not you'll need to complete the ultimate finish to face that character or whether you're better off reseting the mission if you beat a certain character early into it and they don't drop their skill. It might be less clear in quests where a character is revived in the ultimate finish part but it can still be handy to know if there's moves associated with other characters in that mission too.

Im just missing 11 skills, and from my experience so far. Ultimate finish and ranks dont matter whatsoever. All you gotta do is farm who the skill belongs to, and click retry.

That's not entirely true. Some of them require you to get the Ultimate Finish so you can fight the opponent who drops it. Definitely gets old running the same Quest over and over having to hope for some of those and then hope for the skill as well.

It's important knowing that not all the skills you get from missions will notify you on screen during game-play, so if you're resetting consistently, there's a big chance you actually missed out on skills you technically received. I can say that at least 5 times I have obtained a skill at the end of the result screen, so resetting isn't that much of an effective strat, however it is 100% effective for Dragon Ball grinding.

^This. I have seen this as well and it usually happens to me on the last enemy to clear the mission, sometimes  "Got Skill" appears on the last man sometimes it doesn't. Not getting the message notification doesn't mean you didnt get the skill until you actually saw that you didn't get it on the battle summary screen.

Most drops actually notify you that you got them right after you beat the enemy it relates to, but when you're in the Ultimate Finish part of the Parallel Quest it's not so clear anymore. When there's more than one UF enemy, you usually still get notified, but when there's just the one, there's a chance you might not know you got the drop until the battle summary screen (then again, if it's just one enemy, you waste no time at all since you can't retry after you beat them, so...).

I found this steam guide to be invaluable in knowing exactly when you get each drop. As of right now, it's still in progress and missing the last 15 quests, but it's still pretty useful.

Dude, thanks for this m4ns4hil and I murdered these quests over the weekend because of the info you provided. This is by far the most valuable piece of information about the Parallel quests that i have seen so far,

Don't know of this has been mentioned on here, but there is a way to increase the likelihood of getting skills from PQS.

You need elder kai from the dlc to be your master. When you talk to him, now and again he'll say something about reading your future. There's 3 possible readings he'll give you (can't remember what they're all called), if he mentions a golden fruit then that's the best one. I got this reading and went and did one of the higher level quests and got all 4 skills in one attempt.

if you have the DLC with the elder kai in it make him your mentor and when he says something along the lines of 'something good is about to happen or your lucky' (i cant remember what he says been ages since i platted it) then do a mission and you should get the skill! Keep in mind it doesn't always work but the vast majority of the time it does. Other than that the drops are random and remember to finish the opponent using the ultimate attack.
