Slayer - Reign In Blood; 27 minutes of metal brilliance,

Megadeth - Peace Sells...But Who's Buying; Mustaine at his brillinant best,

Stormtroopers Of Death (S.O.D.) - Speak English Or Die; a collaberation  with Billy Milano, Dan Lilker and co; a punk metal classic!,

Slipknot - The Grey Chapter; as so often happens, a band releases possibly it's best work after the death of one of it's members,

Avenged Sevenfold - Avenged Sevenfold; Brillant from start to finish,

Suicidal Tendencies - Join The Army; Their 2nd album from 1987, skater metal with Cyco Miko. The War is still Inside My Head almost 30 years later!

An album I have been listening to recently is Architects - The Here and Now. It's not my favourite band by any means, but I have grown quite fond of this album.

And Imaginaerum by Nightwish. It's not their best, but I still like most of the songs.

I'd like to recommend Kendrick Lamar's latest album, "To Pimp A Butterfly".

Kendrick_Lamar_-_To_Pimp_a_Butterfly.png

A splendid album. Lyrics are on point as is to be expected by now, but my personal highlight would be the album's strong influences taken from black music culture. The whole thing reeks of Jazz and Funk, which i am a huge sucker for and i was pleasantly surprised how well it all works with Kendricks unmistakeable style and how well it ties into the albums lyrical themes. It's pretty balck though, i ncase that puts you off. Like real black. Like i've never listened to any record as strongly influenced by afroamerican culture in my life and as i said, i like Jazz, Funk and Hip Hop.

Masta Ace - Disposable Arts

Masta-Ace-Disposable-Arts-album-leak-zip

One of my favorite albums, if you like rap, this is a must listen. Specially if you're an underground or old school hip hop fan. Its a whole story thats told through songs and skit in the album. Its about a man thats has been released from jail, his experiences after being out and ultimately enrolling into the "school of disposable arts" because he realizes how bad Brooklyn is, or has gotten. The cover is actually pretty funny. Its suppose to make fun of his older album (and first) "Sittin' on Chrome." After jail he's left with nothing and in the street. Its a well thought of album and thoroughly enjoyable.
