Popular Post greenzsaber
Some good stuff you all have there. Guess I should post some of mine, although I'm getting very close to finishing out my wants list for the system. Got all of these the last 2-3 weeks. Mostly stuff from Playasia, thanks to their free shipping month. Soul Sacrifice Delta was in stock at the beginning of the month, after being out of stock for a while, so I just had to get that. Papers Please was bundled in with other games from the LRG website, so it took well over a year to finally ship after placing the initial order. At this point, I'm just waiting on the remaining Playasia Exclusives to drop, and Super Meat Boy from LRG, which will likely take about the same time for me to get it as it did Papers, due to also bundling it with other items.
InfinityOnH1gh
@greenzsaberIOne year? That's crazy. That game looks interesting, though. Been buying way too many games lately. Call of Duty and Ridge Racer were super cheap, though. 150RMB for both. So like £8 each? Paid a lot for Cursed Castilla. Not sure how rare it is, but... it's pretty cool. Has an art book and it's bigger than the other EastAsiaSoft ones I have. 19 hours ago, Gretchen27 said: Spongebob is crazy expensive for the type of game it is. Makes no sense. All the ones I was looking at online were $50. My local retro game store had it for $30. So you better believe I snatched that immediately. He had a new copy of Rainbow Moon for $50 that I didn't go for then. I'm regretting that now as I just went there over the weekend & someone bought it. You know what's weird... this morning, a day after reading your messages about this, i saw a preowned copy for sale. It was gone by the time I'd clicked into it. I wouldn't have given it a second thought if I hadn't seen the posts here. Someone got a great deal and I think they knew it judging by the speed it was listed and sold.

It's actually pretty common to wait many months when ordering something from LRG. I usually get multiple items when I order from them, simply because shipping costs WILL add up if you order individually. Papers was also a PS+ game for us, so I wasn't really in a hurry to get it. Cursed Castilla is one of the better Playasia exclusives, and thus, is probably gonna be worth quite a bit now. Interestingly enough, the PS4 copy of Castilla commands much higher reselling prices than the Vita version. Perhaps it might be because it's the 'better version'. I believe I managed to get a Vita copy of Castilla, but the PS4 copy was sold out by the time I got around to making that purchase. One of the odd exceptions for their releases, as their PS4 games tend to have some trouble selling out. There are still many PS4 versions of some of their other releases available to this day. I looked at the trophy list... looks like a tough game :'( . I think a lot of these indie games are much more suited to a handheld... performance issues aside. You might get lucky with Tales from an auction in eBay or something. It's another pricey, but kind of justified one. Fortunately, I picked up my copy back when Gamestop carried Vita games. Keep looking, you'll be lucky eventually! @InfinityOnH1gh you can buy replacement cases with reprints of the covers online. They're not expensive. I've done that for some pre-owned ones for my collection. Since I don't intend to sell anymore it's not a big deal they're not the original, though there's also original empty cases for sale out there. Agree! IT is stupid expensive. I think the reason is because the only way to play this game on vita now is from a physical game cart. You cant download the game from ps store, just like what happen to original Nier (PS3). Combined with the low stock, game trophy, and spongebob fanbase, causing the price to go up. You are lucky to get it at $30, very cheap compared to the prices most people are asking now. Rainbow Moon is a solid one too, but is very hard to find on my local stores. I haven't had any luck with Tales so far. I almost got it a few months ago, but the seller cancelled my order since it sold out a few seconds before I completed the order. Hopefully I will get it soon. lol

Popular Post IconicWei
Hi all, first time poster here. Started collecting PS Vita about four months ago, and I'm really enjoying it so far, although it has been a challenge ? built up a fairly decent collection so far, these are my pickups from today. They all look like fun games, but I'm especially excited to play The House in Fata Morgana, due to it's extremely positive reviews. I look forward to sharing photos of my collection with you guys, and am equally eager to see which games you will pick up in the future. Good luck!

I probably chose the wrong time to collect Vita, as I started when Sony originally announced their plans to shut down the Vita and PS3 stores, before reverting. The prices spiked then, and haven't really come down. But yeah, I hope you find Mary Skelter at a good price, Mary Skelter Finale is set to come out in about a month, so that may be help or hinder your search. Good luck! Popular Post Gretchen27
This new batch of additions brings the physical Vita collection from 86 --> 92. Root Letter: a VN I frequently see recommended as a must play. Well, it's taken some time to find a copy that didn't break the bank. I was lucky to find an EU copy so I can fully enjoy it in English. Musynx: randomly came across this on eBay. I'm not familiar with the limited run releases, but after looking this game up, I snagged it. Mindless, rhythm action. Yes, please. Rayman Origins: I can't remember what Rayman game I used to play on the PS2, not this probably. I do remember liking the game, so I'll try a Vita one. Fernz Gate: looks to be a casual, little RPG. Steam Prison: JPN import of a VN that sounds interesting. I'm planning to get a Switch copy that supports English to practice translating with. Imagine how many Vita games that would become playable when I get a better understanding of the language. The Irregular Magic High School: Out of Order: another JPN import. It's an action/adventure game that might be accessible to play with minimal language aids. Edited August 26, 2021 by Gretchen27
Gretchen27
Another Play Asia order arrived last night: 88 Heroes: it was in stock when they had that free shipping sale going on, so I grabbed it with a couple PS4 games. Not my typical game, I'll still give it a try.

Not my typical game, I'll still give it a try. That free shipping! I ordered over a month ago and it hasn't arrived... and I'm in China... technically not even an international delivery! UPS takes a week usually. I have no idea what the regular postal service is doing. I'm going to do a breakdown, too. ? Dynasty Warriors Next: Was sealed... and cheap. I opened it because it was dirty. Launch game, though, I think. Hotline Miami: I like the cover. It's in English. Not the cheapest at 170RMB, but I think it's cool. YS Memories of Celceta and Dead or Alive 5Plus: Both 90RMB each, good condition. A steal, I think. Resident Evil Revelations 2: My second copy. I know this is going for stupid money on eBay, so yeah. Paid 100RMB.. so... £11? Not sure what's going on with this one. Little Deviants: Sealed, cheap.
Gretchen27
@InfinityOnH1gh Wow, & you're practically right next door to them. It usually takes just over a month for a Play Asia order to reach my door. Longest it sits is in customs for about a week, 2 if it's near or after a holiday. P.S. Memories of Celceta is a great find! Wish I hadn't traded my copy in.
InfinityOnH1gh
Brotherhood United and Indigo 7: Don't have many puzzle games for the Vita. Looks fun. Not sure about the other one. Final Fantasy: Haven't heard people talking about this game? Wondering what it's like... Punch Line: Visual novel. Hadn't seen it before, so I picked it up. Spiderman: Paid a little over RRP I guess. Impulse buy when I saw it pop up online.
Gretchen27
A few nice additions to the collection. Corpse Party Blood Drive: a horror game with chibi characters? I've watched a little bit of a playthrough & I think it'll be good. Finding the Everafter edition for about the price the base game is selling was pure right time surfing luck. Reverie: an indie, adventure game with a history lesson. Semispheres: honestly, not a clue. I know two box versions were released though, doubt I'll bother with orange. @InfinityOnH1gh World of Final Fantasy is one of my favorite games on the Vita. It's amazing, hope you have a blast with it. Just don't sit on it too long.

Popular Post Gretchen27
PlayAsia order is finally here, & some other recent purchases. It's official, my physical Vita game collection broke 100! Moe Chronicle: disclaimer - this wasn't the type of game I thought it was. I had no idea what "moe" meant until I received this & read the back cover. I just knew it as an English supported game. Indigo7 Quest for Love: mini game centric, Tetris like. I have no idea, even after seeing a review. But that doesn't mean it'll be bad. Brotherhood United: not passing up on those remaining Vita titles. Hyperdimension Neptunia Re;Birth 2: already played/platted, from a digital copy. I'm working on adding them in physical. Ultra Despair Girls - Danganronpa Another Episode: halfway to owning the complete series, just game 2 & 3 left. Ys Origin: a lucky ebay win (not too pricey). I've only played Memories, which I loved, so I'm looking forward to this one. Ys Memories of Celceta: stupidly traded my copy years ago. I had to be scrappy as a college student. Putty Squad: .... it was cheap...& I wanted it.
Popular Post IconicWei
Hi all Here are all of my September pickups. I don't plan on making any more purchases this month, so this will most likely be the lot. Unfortunately where I live, there are very few shops/online storefronts selling PS Vita games, let alone the rarer titles or any Limited Run releases. This means I have to either rely on eBay (Airship Q, Saturday Morning RPG, Back in 1995), or private sellers (Hyperdimension/Megatagmension, Curses 'n Chaos, Dariusburst, London Detective Mysteria, Skullgirls). I started pre-ordering EastAsiaSoft releases only a few months ago, so missed out on quite a few games, although I haven't missed a release since I started. My personal favourite purchase this month is Airship Q, sealed Asian-English version. There's barely any photos of the variant online, but I imagine it is the same game as the Japanese version but with an English patch on the cart. I will most likely keep this sealed! Similarly to @Phoenix_argentea, I also picked up Megatagmension game to complete the Hyperdimension set, but I also managed to grab the NTSC exclusive game this month as well ? As we reach the end of September, I'm looking forward to seeing what you folks managed to pick up this month. Hope it went well for you!
