stpatty
Platinum #95 is the end of something that began by accident eight years ago, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII Eternal Light Proof of a true master who has excelled in all things and has collected all possible trophies. Although I think they missed a trick by not having a picture of Lightning dressed as a cat for this trophy icon. I'm also almost a little sad that the platinum doesn't require beating the game on hard, killing all the Last Ones and collecting every garb/weapon/accessory. Almost. At least if that were the case it might have a rarity I'd feel befitting of the amount of time I put into it.
stpatty
Platinum #96 is beyond words. Vanquish. Platinum Earn all available trophies in VANQUISH. It's as hard as you think and as worth it as you think.
stpatty
Platinum #97 was supposed to be a milestone but I don't (really) care about that anymore, Shadow of the Colossus: Wander and the Colossus Acquire all Trophies I had it a lot easier than the internet seems to have found it. What a game.
stpatty
Platinum #98 and #99 are symbols of a failure of this trophy checklist. The original plan was to reach 100 platinums on the PS3 before making the switch to PS4. Of the various games I have unfinished I'd like to beat - XCOM, Catherine, something else I'm probably forgetting - it just wasn't going to happen. Ye've Done It “This day, you reach the end of a story,” she continues, “and the last of its paths.” We Had Fun, Didn't We? Complete Tales From The Borderlands BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE! Platinum #100 is Grand Theft Auto IV. I know that whenever people on here finish this game someone audits that game and their profile to make sure it isn't cheated. I like the idea that someone will look at my trophy cabinet and feel envious of the games I have in there. Taking a Liberty Sorry for taking liberties with your time. At over 10 years, I certainly hope it's the longest game I'll ever have (the possibility of me finishing Shatter or From Dust notwithstanding)
stpatty
Platinum #101... yes, it was on purpose, is Fallout 3: Platinum Trophy Collect all 50 other Trophies for this Trophy I'm now done with PS3 games. Get ready for lots more entries to this checklist.
stpatty
Platinum #102 is a worrying sign for AAA sandboxes, Just Cause 3: King of Medici Earned all Just Cause 3 Trophies Platinum #103 is what you'd get if you combined Burnout Paradise, a Motorstorm and Fortnite, managing to carry forward none of the real positives about any of those, Onrush: ONRUSH Obtain all trophies in ONRUSH™ Edited February 6, 2019 by stpatty
stpatty
Platinum #104 is one of the first PS4 games and proof that you should never buy a console at launch, Knack: Ultimate Knack Received all trophies
stpatty
Platinum #105 is the same as Platinum #104, inFamous Second Son: Enjoy Your Powers Collect all trophies
stpatty
With Platinum #106 I discovered I like horror games! Amnesia: Collection Insanity Achieved all other trophies. And since they added a hard mode to the game on the day I got the Platinum, I got to finish that and have a 0.15% 100% on my profile, which is cool too.
stpatty
Platinum #107 was much quicker and a lot less terrifying, Day of the Tentacle Remastered: OCD Get all other trophies in the game
stpatty
Getting into a decent pace for the year now, Platinum #108 was an Interactive Adventure with inexplicably immature characters purporting to be teenagers, Life is Strange: What If? Unlock all other trophies from Life Is Strange™ I don't know why it's not showing up. It's not invisible like flow's was. The small version works in the OP. Oh well. Platinum #109 was an Interactive Adventure with inexplicably immature characters purporting to be teenagers, Until Dawn: A Symphony of Horror Trophies You collected all Gold, Silver and Bronze trophies in Until Dawn If you're wondering: Ashley, Sam, Jessica, Dead Beth, Wendigo Hannah, the Stranger, Emily. stpatty
I finished a bunch of stuff. PSN 100% #66 is a VR tech demo, Here They Lie: Nihilist Smash Buddy in the Mirror The idea might be there, but the execution is off. Platinum #110 is much of the same, Rime: The end is a new beginning Obtain all trophies. Also a bit disappointing, but very strong aesthetically and the trophy icons reflect that. PSN 100% #67 is... something with a great idea, poor execution and very strong aesthetics, Child of Light: Coronation Dethrone the Queen of the Night. I'm really not sure why it didn't have trophies for harder difficulties, fully levelling characters or anything else. Shame. Platinum #111 was a welcome surprise, Hitman GO: Definitive Edition: Agent 47 Collect all trophies for Hitman GO: Definitive Edition It feels slightly cheap that the trophies in this game are as common as they are, but I suppose it's inevitable with a solution-based puzzle game like this in the age of the internet. reiner-
On 5/24/2016 at 7:23 AM, stpatty said: Platinum #63 is also completed game #100 which I didn't realise before starting it, it might be that in space nobody can hear you scream but after this I wouldn't blame them if they heard and just ignored him, the not really actually that good at all Dead Space 2: The Final Frontier Earn all Trophies in Dead Space™ 2 This is the one I envy the most. I'm fairly certain I could of had this one myself if it wasn't for a certain Blue Screen moment while playing on Hardcore. Congrats man. stpatty
Dead Space 2 wasn't really that bad. ======================================= Thanks to an event on PST.org I've been completing stuff a lot more quickly than normal, so here's a bunch: PSN 100% #68 is Mousecraft: Gold Digger Expert Earn 80 golden cogs by completing all 80 levels with a Perfect score. Let's move on. PSN 100% #69 is a repeat, flOw: Zen Leave game on idle in the end of credits for 30 minutes. The picture's there, I promise. PSN 100% #70 is another repeat, Flower: Dream Beyond all flowers lies another room. It looks and plays so much better on the PS4. PSN 100% #71 was a surprisingly large amount of fun, Disc Jam: Unstoppable Win 50 online public matches. I'm glad I took a shot on that one. It's a shame it never really stuck with people who played it on PS+. Platinum #112 is absolute proof that size isn't everything, Mad Max: . Halls of Valhalla Acquire all trophies. I've now completed more games than I did last year, which is good. Hopefully it continues.
stpatty
PSN 100% #72 was a remake of a mobile game from 2004. It had all of the graphics but none of the depth, which was appropriate since it's a 2D upscroller, Sky Force Anniversary: House of Cards Collect all of the cards. This trophy isn't that impressive when you consider it's 50% luck and 50% bullshit. Platinum #113 was the king of the walking simulators, Everybody's Gone to the Rapture: This Pattern is Mine You got them all. You got them all. All of the graphics, none of the depth. A recurring theme.
stpatty
PSN 100% #73 is quite a rare assortment of trophies, Not a Hero: MEGALORD MAKE BUNNYLORD GLOBAL MEGALORD Good trophy icons too.
stpatty
PSN 100% #74 is a work of beautiful complexity which demonstrates the importance of youtube guides in bypassing creativity, design and imagination purely in the name of achievement, Fez: Sum Total Find ALL collectibles. Platinum #114 is a Sims Civil War Expansion Pack. This War of Mine: The Little Ones: Epilogue: This War of Mine: The Little Ones What's next? What do we do? Where do we go? I don't want to link the platinum description of a game which is sensitive look at the hardships faced by the survivors of war to something as pointless as trophy hunting, so I'll just leave that one there. stpatty
PSN 100% #75 is something I was going to play years ago before I decided life was too short, Hohokum: Hohoquick (Hohokumnavigus Furius) Complete the videogame Hohokum in under 60 minutes. I wish the game was as deep as the ludicrous trophy titles suggest Platinum #115 is a Vita remaster which really struggled with the controls, Tearaway Unfolded: Perfectionist Collect all the other trophies I don't think I've played a game where I needed the touchpad as much as this one. It was really clumsy.
stpatty
PSN 100% #76 is proof that PS+ works: I played the first through that, loved it, and bought the second. Rock of Ages 2: Olympic Gold Get a gold medal in all time trial levels. Platinum #116 I could technically have achieved a while ago but I saved it for something else, Alienation: Alienated Get all trophies And Platinum #117 is also trophy 7,000, WipEout Omega Collection: Transcendence Earn all the trophies in the game Fun fact: The platinum rarity for this last month before it was a PS+ game was 2.44%. It's now at 2.08%. The system works! Sadly it wasn't as difficult as WipEout HD, so it won't be going in my trophy cabinet. stpatty
I've been putting this off for a while, so here's three. First up is Platinum number #118, Mirror's Edge Catalyst: The Few. The Elite. Unlock all Mirror's Edge™ Catalyst Trophies One of the more misleading trophy titles you'll ever see. I tried very hard to like this game and it tried just as hard to piss me off. It won. Even the trophy icon is garbage compared to the original. PSN 100% #77 was the butchered and extremely disappointing Twisted Metal: Black: Beware! Unlock Minion Hurray for cheats. I bought this in a sale in the hope it would be similar to a game from my youth called Motor Mayhem. It wasn't. It was also pretty much destroyed from a narrative perspective for this rerelease, so if you fancy it, er, beware. Platinum #119 is Gravity Rush Remastered: It's all Relative Collected every trophy. Congratulations! I'm glad this made it to PS4, it was great fun. Hopefully the sequel feels more optimised for a proper console and controller. stpatty
I've been putting this off for a while, so here's three. First up is PSN 100% #78, Red Dead Revolver: Sharp Shooter Complete the game on Very Hard difficulty. Good game. I'm glad I played it as an adult rather than when it came out. I was much more forgiving of its faults than I have been several years ago. Platinum #120 is... I don't even know. Proof that development time isn't directly proportional to a game's quality? Proof that Team Ico only had the material for two games worth playing? Proof you should never work with children and animals? The Last Guardian: The Last Guardian Collect all other trophies. The platinum icon looks a lot duller than the silver ones. Platinum #121 is the somewhat remarkably proof that the British media was once even more hysterical about games than it is now, Canis Canem Edit. Or Bully: Valedictorian Unlock every trophy. Consider me firmly in the "I want a sequel or remake for this" camp.
stpatty
Two horror 100%s up now. PSN 100% #79 is the more annoying than scary Outlast: LUNATIC Finish the game in Insane mode Fortunately this being a PS+ game, having DLC and having two trophies that need a no death playthrough of the game, it's an extremely rare 100%. PSN 100% #80 was the more existential than scary Soma: The End They're not us! Very good... narrative. Not sure I can praise it for the gameplay aspect, but everything else is spectacular. stpatty
Final update for the year. Platinum #122 was the very disappointing Table Top Racing: World Tour: TTR Legend! Unlock all Trophies Platinum #123 was the utterly infuriating Outlast 2: Omnipotent Unlock all other trophies Platinum #124 was the slightly pointless (but with very very good music) Bridge Constructor: You're a Bridge Constructor Collect all the trophies to unlock the platinum trophy. Let's get building! PSN 100% #81 was the extremely disappointing sequel to the last Lara Croft game on this list, Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris: Tomb Raider Complete all challenges What an ending. Happy 2020, everyone. Edited December 31, 2019 by stpatty
stpatty
I've been putting this off for a while, so here's five at once: Platinum #125, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune Remastered: Platinum Earn all Uncharted: Drake's Fortune™ Remastered Trophies Meh. Platinum #126, Uncharted 2: Among Thieves Remastered: Platinum Earn all Uncharted 2: Among Thieves™ Remastered Trophies Meh, but a bit more of it. Platinum #127, Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception Remastered: Platinum Earn all Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception™ Remastered Trophies Meh, but with better shooting mechanics. Platinum #128 was Psychonauts: Brainiac Unlock all trophies. It was fun, but I feel like there was too much game crammed into too little space. Platinum #129 was Rogue Aces: Platinum Earn all other trophies This was great fun. Edited March 19, 2020 by stpatty
