EB Games Messed Up

6 posts in this topic

So I bought Blazblue: Continuum Shift from EB Online last week and it showed up in the mail today, at least the case did anyway.  When I opened it up Calamity Trigger was in their instead of the game I bought.

Which of the two is better?  Did EB do me a solid by sending me a better game (it's also more expensive)?  Should I return it to get Continuum Shift or put up with having the wrong case/game?

I only paid $4 for it so I'm not really sure it's worth my time.

Thanks

Honestly, they're both great. Calamity Trigger has an easier trophy list, while Continuum Shift has more characters and gameplay modes.

Continuum Shift offers more characters and lots of balance tweaks. Since online is dead I'd assume you're playing this for the story. It's not going to make much sense without having played calamity trigger. I'd say hold on to it and buy continuum shift extend later on. CS includes the 3 dlc characters.

From a trophy perspective, BB CT is very easy to plat. If you're new to fighting games, stay away from BB CS. Extend is a little harder than CT but still fairly easy, just takes longer.

Above is the perfect answer.

Stick with CT for the sake of the story and easy plat. If you liked it, skip CS and get CS Extend (reason stated by Goekie). Just know that the online for those 3 games are dead, but if you need help, feel free to add me.

Thanks, I'll take you up on that offer.

For what it's worth, the employees just look for a title and sometimes get the wrong games mixed up.  One time I returned a version because I had specifically bought game of the year copy, not normal.

They exchange it with the right copy, no problems at all.
