Babality, Animality and Friendship!

Every time that I meet the requirements for Babality, Animality and Friendship, I enter the right moves for the right character but the game never registers, except once when I did a fatality.

 

Babality: ``Mortal Kombat II: You cannot use either punches during the winning round.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: You cannot block during the winning round.``

 

Animality: ``In order to perform an Animatlity you must be on the 3rd round (you must win one round and your opponent must win one round). When the announcer says Finish Him/Her, perform a Mercy (hold and press , , ). Your opponent will be given a small amount of health. Defeat your opponent again and input the Animality button combination.``

 

Friendship: ``Mortal Kombat II: You cannot use either punches during the winning round.
Ultimate Mortal Kombat 3: You cannot block during the winning round.``

 

I tried a character with a very easy Babality (Liu Kang = :down: ) and the game still doesn't resister it! Help.
