Dogs are cute and all, but a cat has never tried to hump me. I much prefer cats to dogs.

This made me laugh, because my spayed female cat has tried to hump me. And my laptop.

I love both for different reasons. But I currently only have a cat.

Here's Perma-Grumpy Cat:

I love both ^_^ But when I must take care for them I would go with dogs.

Because cats dont act as friends... (they are just little and cute assholes xD), also I think a dog is easier to raise and stuff and until they die they are your best friend - because humans are too stupid for that. :)

I have a dog, names Duke.... but I'm not particularly fond of other dogs, or cats. I like my dog, but typically not other peoples dogs... same way I feel about children, if the kids mine... I'll probably like him or her, but if they're yours..... keep 'em far away.

I do not hate cats or dogs. I just don't like them just because they're cute.

To be honest, I like insects better (NOT mosquitos). And spiders too.

Owning a pet doesn't feel right to me. There's also ethical and ecological aspects to that, which most people would laugh at if I mentioned.

Cat. More independent then dogs and mine is just as loving/loyal.

Awww that's nice.

What dogs lack in independence they make up for in bedside manner, always checking up on you, lying down with you when you're sick and evenlending a ear to listen when you feel no one else is.

Odd that I love dogs since I grew up with cats.- but after losing my first and most loved cat.- maybe I just never wanted to fill is place with another.
