GaryHyphenJon Posted June 11, 2015 Share Posted June 11, 2015 Because most PS3 games are now either constantly on sale or really cheap (either on the PSN Store, or on disc), I'm wanting to make a collection of the essential PS3 games. Specifically I'm talking about the ones people will look back on in years to come. I've already got most of the exclusives as well as Skyrim, Fallout and Assassins Creed 2 among others. Exclusives: LBP 1/2/3 (although 1 is dated maybe better to just play 2 first) Demon Souls (considered by many as one of the best RPGs of this gen) Uncharted series (3 is generally considered crap though and 1 is dated) Heavy Rain and Beyond: Two Souls (interactive movies, Heavy Rain was better received, stories do branch, but essentially very little gameplay) Yakuza series (If you like Japan and beat'em ups you'll like this) Infamous Series (super hero game 2 is a lot better gameplay wise than 1, but you should definitely give both a shot) Ni No Kuni (Level 5 RPG need I say more) Shadow of the collosus (Technically not exclusive as a PS2 port, but you should play this) Resistance series (The servers are down, but you can still enjoy the campaign) Ratchet and Clank HD trilogy and future series (No need to play spin offs just play the mainline games, quest for booty can also be skipped as the story is essentially filler) God of War Series (you should know about this already) Journey (a PSN title, and a unique experience) The Last of Us (considered by many as the game of the gen) Metal gear solid series (1 and 4 are exclusives, so i'm putting this here) If you like the way I've put this I'll do multiplats later to.
