If you're wondering what's going on here, the album is a symphonic metal concept album Christopher Lee did at 87 years old, which tells the story of the first Holy Roman Emperor Charlemagne of whom Lee is supposed to be descended from. This song tells the story of Charlemagne's bloody conversion of the Saxons in northern Germany to Catholicism, here being dueted between Christopher Lee as the old Charlemagne and Vincent Ricciardi as his younger self. Christopher Lee did a couple of these types of albums himself and helped out with a few other bands like Manowar, earning himself a Spirit of Metal award in the process. Which makes sense because Christopher Lee was metal as shit before metal was even a thing.
