Regarding Wes

I read on other forums that Wes was bugged back in the PS4 version of the game so I have a few question to those who successfully obtained the trophy on the PS Vita ,

 

* What save slot did you use ?

* On what map or what was the map order did you get when you found him ?

* Does he spawn 100% of times when the 4th map is no "The game is afoot" ?

* Did you use a customized sandbox map to access adventure mode ?

* Did you do it in classic mode or giant edition ?

For still struggling in their research for Wes here are the settings I used in order to find him

 

But before I start, I would like to thanks Axtox and Zoma05 who gave me some of these tips and the setting they both used.

 

So,

• What save slot did you use ?

 

I used the 1st save slot and I used WX-78 as character (Zoma05 also used him but Axtox chose Willow)

 

• On what map or what was the map order did you get when you found him ?

I found him on the map A cold Reception

 

My map order was Archipelago > The game is afoot > A cold Reception

 

I highly recommend you to reload adventure mode as long as you don't get Archipelago as your 1st map.

 

As you will went to spend as much time as possible on the 1st map to develop your crafting knowledge.

 

My personal recommendation on what you should learn is :

 

- Golden Axe / PickAxe

- Hammer

- Shovel

- Backpack

- Healing Salve

- Thermal Stone

- Umbrella

- Dying Rack

- Crock Pot

- Spear

- Football Helmet

- Ham Bat

- Log Suit

- Marble Suit

- Sewing Kit

- Top Hat

- Beffalo Hat

- Dapper Vest

 

Item that you should bring between levels :

 

- Gears (If you play as WX-78) / Willow Lighter (If you play as Willow)

- Tentacle Spike (Or a Spear if you can't find one)

- Thermal Stone

- Beffalo Hat (Until you can find a Tam o' Shanter)

 

• Does he spawn 100% of times when the 3th map is not "Two Worlds" ?

I can't guarantee that as I got him on 1st try.

 

However I suggest you to save always save on the 2nd map right before you take the portal to the 3rd map and to backup the save file then. (On the PS+ or PC backup)

As each time you take the portal to finish a level , the next map will always be the same but it's layout will change.

 

• Did you use a customized sandbox map to access adventure mode ?

I and Axtox both did it with a non customized sandbox map

 

Zoma did it with a custom one in order to find the portal faster.

 

• Did you do it in classic mode or giant edition ?

Zoma and I both did it with the Giant Edition DLC disabled

 

Axtox did it with the DLC actived
