Why I chose this song

So Green Day have changed my life, it sounds stupid I know, but they are the reason I picked up a guitar, the reason I started gigging, the reason I have just completed a 3 year music qualification and am now going onto University! This song has always been there for me if I was feeling sad or happy, I adore this song, it makes me feel so many emotions and I love nothing more than to sit down and sing it whilst playing guitar. I listen to it every morning on the bus for inspiration and can honestly say I never ever tire of hearing it. The lyrics are so special to me and I feel such a connection to what Billie Joe is saying. Will it be popular with the community, who knows? But one things for sure I love music, I love Green Day and I love this song.
