I know there's a difference between zombies but I haven't seen a difference much between "infected" and "walker". Because i've pissed off "walkers" and "infected" and they rush me. Also the city is where I get rushed by 6 or 7 infected at one time. Having problems with that any advice would help

Yea, pretty much the infected are the fast ones that are fast and come at you frenzy-like. Walkers are the "general" zombies. They are the slow ones.

You say they both charge at you when you piss them off. The only thing I think of is that you are making the walkers mad by hitting/shooting them and the walkers are doing a forward lunge attack. This is the only attack (I think) they do that is relatively fast. As for the infected, they are always pissed off.

Walkers are zombies that have been 'killed' before reanimating as a zombie. Infected on the other hand was still alive before turning.

Rigor Mortis sets in for the Walkers, hence the slow, shambling movement. A group of walkers can be easily dispatched with proper pacing and keeping distance.

Infected are still 'alive' in a sense, so Rigor Mortis hadn't set in, hence the fast movement. Most of the time, I just get up to an outcropping or atop of a car and whack them on the head. But a herd of infected can take down a well equipped player if taken off guard.
