With 150,000 members, lets assume that 50% enter their birthday and an even distribution of birthdays throughout the year. The list would be 205 names long every day. Why not just have an emoji show up next to their name for the 24 hours on which it is their birthday? Like a little cake or something? Or, maybe their forum name shows in a different colour on their birthday? Also, some users might not want to enter their birth year into the site for privacy reasons. Look at the bottom of the forums page; there's a small section for like "moderating team" and "top posters".
