Zanreo
Sega Mega Drive Collection, 2 years and 10 months Mainly because I put it off for a long, long time (a bunch of the games weren't that interesting) and only got back to it years later. Justt_Jan
Longest Platinum of actual playtime would be GTA5 PS4 for me (2 weeks and 5 days). Longest Platinum of a game that i put away and started again after a couple of months is Minecraft PS3 (2 Years 6 Months)
ChristIllusion12
Just Cause 2 took me 2 years and 10 months but I only beat the story and when I got more serious about trophy hunting I went back and finished it Longest game to platinum after playing on it every day is a toss up being WipEout HD and The Last of Us

IDiivil
Looks like it's New Little King's Story, which I just beat a few weeks ago. Took me 4 years and 7 months. I have several games I've started or played years ago but haven't platinumed or 100%. Didn't use to go for trophies that much and been playing on this profile since 2008. I'm actually planning on doing the Dead Space platinum in October 2018, which would be exactly ten years after I started the game. It was also the first game I earned trophies in so thought it'd be cool to have that as a ten year plat.

FarSideOfSaturn
Mine is Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain in one year, six months and four days. Like I've said before I properly take my time with games, at the end of each session there'd be a full review of all my staff to make sure they were assigned to their best unit, that took a long time when my staff numbered over 1600+ by the time I platinumed the game Then there was the supply and staff raids in between missions and side missions, all on foot so I didn't miss any medicinal plants while walking between bases and outposts. Driving around Motherbase meeting my staff to boost their morale. I effectively started over with my staff twice too. When A ranks started to appear I dismissed anyone with a lower rank other than specialists, then did the same to the A ranks when S ranked enemies became common. At some points I was so busy with managing Motherbase I was going days without completing a single mission. Then there was the missions themselves. I could spend more time than any reasonable person would scouting out bases from every angle, waiting for night time to see how the guard shifts and patrol patterns change and then waiting for daytime if I decided going in then was the better option. I like micromanaging and strategizing. As soon as I found out the open world and Motherbase management I knew I was getting my money's worth several times over Edited July 8, 2017 by FarSideOfSaturn
bruin-rocks
Need for Speed Rivals on PS4 at 3 years 4 months. Just so boring to keep playing the racer career. Took a massive break from it.
silenticecream
Driveclub at 1 year 5 months, due solely to not completing a couple of the mp trophies earlier and basically moving on from the game.

continuum67
My longest gap, hilariously enough is a Telltale game. I played the first episode of Game of Thrones because it was free and didn't think all that much of it so I didn't purchase the rest of the episodes. 1 year and 4 months later, PS+ has let me finish the plat off (and it was actually pretty OK, even for a non-GoT watcher). Lava_Yuki
Mine was Lightning returns. I started playing it when it first game out, played for an hour and decided I didn't like it so I left it in my shelf for two years. Then just last year I picked it up again and go the plat in a month, but it says 2 years on my account as thats when i started up the game and probably earned a trophy for changing the garb colour or something like that. After that, it was FFX-2 taking 7 months as I jumped between FFX as well before going back to X-2, since they were both on my vita. For some reason Tales of Xillia took me 6 months but I don't really remember why. In terms of hours it was about 120 so I probably took a break from it and played Tales of Innocence and Hearts in that time as well since those battle challenges and partner skills were frustratingly boring. afc-razor-84
Dishounered PS3 version I think? 2 years and 5+ months. Great game but my switch to ps from Xbox and just finishing it on there made me turn a blind eye.
Jamescush147
It took me a week to finish Assassin's Creed Revelations (PS4) - the main game. It took me 6 months, 3 weeks, 3 days to finish up the added DLC for the Plat.

TheFalseDeity
As far as actually having at least some effort put towards trophies it would be either Skyrim or World of Final Fantasy at 4 weeks 1 day. Though i think i took a break from WoFF before the end grind. If meaning just having played it then shelving it for a time before going for the plat it would be Watch Dogs at 1 year and 3 months. Only needed occasional breaks from OsRs so Ps4 didnt see much use for a time after i got it thus a few games are similar to this. Havent taken on any long games yet just slacked on some shorter ones. Though there arent many out there really so that might not change.
