I got off to a flyer today, popped this and  Citizen of the Galaxy with the first hour of playing. Then ruined my momentum by spending eight hours unsuccessfully trying to scan all the species on whatever hellhole I'd managed to land on, before I finally managed to clock up another planet fully scanned just before 2am. 

 

Not a complaint by the way. Along the way I saw some of the most wonderfully fucked up shit from giant inflating head octopus tentacle things that looked like the ghosts from pacman to something resembling a tall anorexic velociraptor with only a tongue for a head. 

 

There isn't a model for the player character in the game so I can only hope I do in fact have a head, a proper head, not a tongue head.
