Farming for these rare items may have left me a tad over leveled.  I leveled up 3 on the Basilisks and another 4 times on the Eggplant Man.  First Dark Stalker just gave me his drop.  And the Doom Sword wasn't too bad.  But the National Scar gave me some trouble.  I only leveled up once farming it, but I think that was just because I was already way higher than I should have been.  By the time I beat Mech Rider, I'm 63.  And the game can be beaten at this level.  And I still have two more dungeons to go.  And three more drops to farm in the next one.  And all those Orbs in the last.  I'm even using Analyzer cause that's suppose to help with rare drops.  Of course they have to drop chests in the first place.

When I saw that "Iron Soul" trophy pop, I thought Yeah Iron Soul alright! Getting to this point was challenging for me because of not having a good sense of direction in games (and irl), so I get lost and do a lot of backtracking... At least I might finally have it down for the next two play throughs coming up. This is my first (JRPG?) so maybe I'm not used to how they roll yet.

It's not a good sign when the common drops aren't all that common.  I spent a good ten minutes killing Wolf Lord for him to finally drop the Faerie Ring only for the trophy to not pop.  I somehow missed Tasnica's store.  And just to be safe I bought everything they had.  Also I'm pretty sure the Ax Orb doesn't exist.

Now this has to be one of the most messed up protagonists ever. I'm surprised he hasn't died from food poisoning given that he eats cookies found in all kinds of unsanitary places. You'd think eating food off the street is bad enough but no. This guy actually ate cookies found on the toilet, in graveyards and even stuff in ancient tombs, comparing them to honey lol. Only play this game if you have a high tolerance for "dirty" humor (as in the literal meaning of the word)

I mean using someone's vomit as a substitute for glue? Gross?

If you have played this game you know how annoying Sigourney is when doing these stupid cold pot side missions. She will not shut up the entire time you drive her for all 5 of these about how you need to stop driving safely and you need to step on it because her pot is going to get cold. She makes you want to strangle her.
