I looked at the guide here and googled it and I still have no idea why Falcon Peak dropped when it did.  It finally dropped after doing mission 1 on Splash Island.  And that boss at the end of Mission 3 on Dreadnought was crazy.

Absolutely loving playing through this game again.

Throughly enjoying the story and the combat continues to impress me. A highly underrated PS3 game that is worth grabbing on PS4, especially if you never played it on the PS3.
