I picked the game back up recently and started the grind again. I grinded for hour hours and hours again but I finally got it with a score of 122% exact. AJ_Radio Posted February 15, 2020 Share Posted February 15, 2020 Mad Max Up to the Task Complete all non-repeating challenges This trophy took a LOT of work to get. Up to the Task is probably going to be the last trophy before the platinum for most players who are playing Mad Max. You basically have to do no less than 144 non-repeating challenges. A good majority of them are easy and are obtained just by clearing the open world map. But a few of them, notably the Stick It to Ya challenge, can be a royal pain in the ass if not done until late in the game. A few challenges required me to look up a YouTube guide for them and there is the possibility that your game file may suffer from the infamous 190/191 scavenging glitch. While you get the trophy for getting all the scavenging locations done, you will not complete the challenge and therefore this trophy will be locked out. I basically had to look up guides on PST.org, make sure each and every one of those 227 scavenging locations counted, and made a new autosave slot for every 10 - 20 locations I completed. This trophy sucks, and I know a few people who sadly had to play a whole new playthrough just to get this gold trophy done. It took me 62 hours to platinum Mad Max, and doing the math, you can easily play over 100+ hours due to a glitch. Glad it's over, and shame on Avalanche Studios for never fixing the glitch, which I thankfully avoided. 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

You don't have to question the hostages to do this one. It's better you don't, unless you'd rather deal with that frigging technical (if you're going to try it that way, make sure you get the molotovs). Just kill all the enemies that are already in the pool, church, and clock tower areas. I realised that I still needed to get that one AQ fighter that was looting the car. As soon as I took him down, there it was! Well... this leaves me one away from the platinum.
