Tekken 7 Platinum - I'll Get Everything Back!

 

Despite this being a very easy fighting game platinum, I still enjoyed my time.

 

I managed to beat akuma in the special chapter on the first attempt on the easy difficulty

 

The most annoying trophies included the online tournment trophy as you either need to get lucky with a tournament going on and manage to be matched up to lower level player. For me, getting to the akuma fight in arcade mode was hard as he didn't appear for me in treasure battle needing me to 

fight him in the arcade mode. This required 1 perfect win and a rage art finish which the annoying part was the perfect win as the opponent can attack very quickly, losing the opportunity to get the perfect win in many of my attempts.

Devil May Cry 5

Trophy: Complete the game on Hell and Hell difficulty

 

Finally I managed to clear Devil May Cry 5 on Hell and Hell difficulty, some of the missions were frustrating to complete especially mission 17. All I have remaining in terms of the platinum trophy is to S Rank everything, however for the 100% I need to clear Bloody Palace with Dante and V which I will hopefully do in the next week or so. This was also my 50th ultra rare trophy on my account! I know the Vergil DLC will be released in a few days but I'm not sure if it will add anymore trophies to the PS4 version, if it does then I have more work to do. Happy to have this trophy out of the way, best of luck to anyone who is still trying to clear it.

Without question this was one of the longest grinds for a trophy I have ever done. To earn the trophy you need to reach B-Spec level 40, which means levelling up an AI or computer controlled driver. For those of you who haven't played GT5 and aren't aware of my struggles it took me around 40 hours just to level from 39 to level 40. So this trophy took me longer than most platinum trophies would. Glad that's finally over, now I can focus on my next grind trophy for clearing all the endurance races, thankfully I only have 1 left to finish but it's a 24 hour race, but hey at least you can suspend the event and go back to it

Man....2020's been such a absolute sh*t year. Between the cursed virus, my internet completely dying due to the wall outlet that the modem needs to connect to died so I couldn't do internet stuff maintain my sanity during quarantine (And playing FFXIV, had to cancel my subscription until I get working internet again...not willing to pay 15 a month for an MMO I can't even play), and my mom getting the virus (She's OK now) and the stress associated with it; I haven't been motivated to post on here. But hopefully 2021 will be less crummy.

 

I did get a couple trophies from Dragon's Crown about a month or two ago, but I prefer to post the absolute most recent, so here's the trophies I got last night and the night before.

 

 

Not much to say about the Neptunia one, except that stupid Hard Breaker boss was annoying to deal with... and remember one of the reasons I love Compa.

Yes I did FINALLY rescue Rise and defeat Shadow Teddie....but I BARELY beat Shadow Teddie through the skin of my teeth. Went into the boss fights with Yukiko, Yosuke and Kanji in tow. During the grind, I ended up fusing the Matador summon thinking it's main skill would speed up the grind because it's chance to instakill...didn't happen but putting Dekunda? (The one that removes stat drops from the party) ended up being a bit of a life saver during the Shadow Teddie fight. Also made the Titania summon and it too ended up being a life saver during Shadow Teddie, whenever he started spamming his attack that deals Ice damage on the whole party (Can't remember what its called) due to her Ice immunity.

 

But despite that, and getting a surprisingly strong persona after failing to get Titania the first time, Shadow Teddie was the worst boss fight I had in P4G in awhile. Between Yukiko (My main source for healing) dying early on, and game of round involving making sure I (As the main character) don't die since it's one of those games where you get a game over if the leader dies, dealing as much damage as possible and keeping Yosuke and Kanji healthy.

 

Eventually both of them drop...just as Shadow Teddie is close to death....and I BARELY manage to beat him. Granted the fight maybe a little easier with the right personas or whatever....but this is my first time playing a Persona or SMT game so I'm not as experienced with these games...not to mention the limit amount of time I have to save Rise making the need to beat him more urgent.

 

If anyone has advice for how to more easily deal with Shadow Teddie specifically during a future run; whatever it maybe reccomended personas or what not I would like to know since doesn't this game require a second playthrough to plat it?
