After a short break, I decided it was time to finish this game once and for all. The only thing I had remaining were the endings, as well as the final Blood Code which came naturally after watching the true ending.

 

As for the endings themself, the first one is considered as the best and true ending. All I can say about it, it was actually pretty good. Seeing Io disappear was actually quite sad. As for the rest, the party is going to have quite a journey, for whatever they're searching for from the outside world. At least the world is safe now.

 

When it comes to the 2nd variant of the true ending, it was honestly disappointing. Really. It's the same ending as the previous one, except that my character turns around and says "Io" during the final scene. That's it? I wasted 30+ minutes after watching the previous one, only to get the same ending with one extra dialogue? *sigh* Really disappointing.

 

Anyway, another game from the backlog is now done. Unless there's change of plans, next up is

Beat the Time Trial for Scene 14

Ever ran through a darkness parcour for almost 6 minutes while the floor often gives out from under you and you have to figure out some crappy puzzle while being on a tight timer? Well that is what this time trial expected of me, and it was not fun, pretty much like the rest of this abomination. This game had many annoying levels but this trial was easily the most annoying out of the bunch due to the bad vision, the tight timer and seemingly arbitrary nature of the puzzle, and thats saying something.

I finished this time trial after quite a bit of practice and therefore I am only missing one more trophy in this putrid dog turd of a game. Unfortunately for me, the trial number 8 that I am missing is broken and therefore unplayable, freezing the game in between 1 and 8 seconds after entering the level every damn time when playing normally. Saw someone mention a trick, look at the ground and try to run through a damn maze in record time, works semi well until you have to get through the part with the moving rooms, at which point it froze for me every single time even when I was staring almost directly down, making it not possible for me to unlock the last missing trophy.

Edit: Thanks to a bunch of tricks the last trophy was doable after all, but boy did it suck, easily one of the most horribly unnatural things to experience in any game.

 

This game marks the end of my support for indie developers, they can kiss my ass, I've had so many horrendous experiences with them that even throwing money at the disgusting big turd devs is better, as they at least fix their shit at some point, while this game will remain broken and buggy forever. Indie games I do not already own I will likely not buy, the lack of standards is just way too severe. I am just so tired of buggy garbage games at this point.

Doom (2016) (PS4) - Platinum Trophy 

 

 

Thy Flesh Consumed (11.31%)

 

After 5 years and 1 week, I have achieved this platinum trophy and have the game currently at 89%. Overall, an extremely fun FPS about slaying demons on mars and hell. The multiplayer trophies in the base game were simple enough but I am still chugging along getting the exp need for specific armours on this mode for its DLC for that 100%, making it tedious. The hardest trophy was by far: 'A Toe into Madness' (13.34%) for completing The UAC on Ultra-Nightmare difficulty due to dying in just a few hits from any enemy.

 

Going to try aim for the arcade trophies and the remaining multiplayer trophies that I have left.

 

Good luck to anyone who wants to go for the platinum and especially the 100%!
